Chapter 364 I Want to Change My Wife

After dismissing the three individuals, William went back to the Ocean Guild to train. At the same time, he urged Antony and Ralph to be relentless in striking the Denckman family in the West district.

Previously, William had made a bet with Oscar regarding Julia's forced marriage, so naturally, he wanted to eliminate the Denckman family. Moreover, the Denckman family had previously assisted Ryan in attacking the Ocean Guild. So William would not let them off the hook.

As William entered a wooden hut after his training, a strong aroma of food greeted him, causing the corners of his mouth to slightly curl upward.

"William, you're back. I cooked a meal for you. I've included all your favorite dishes, and here's the special wild fruit soup." Michelle had prepared a table full of delicious dishes for William.

Since they started living together, Michelle's focus had shifted entirely to William, and she cooked for him every day.

Besides cooking, Michelle would run to see William exercising and enjoy their own world together.

"This dish looks pretty good!" William picked up his fork and tasted it.

"My dishes are always delicious! By the way, the wild fruit was picked in the nearby mountains of Ocean Guild. It's a local specialty. You should try it." Michelle looked at William with anticipation. He didn't hesitate to try it. It was indeed delicious! This soup could even accelerate the flow of superpower energy in the body, indicating that it could be helpful for his own training.

"It's extremely delicious!" William nodded approvingly.

"If it's tasty, have some more! Oh, and I tidied up the house today and brought in some potted plants. It makes the whole place livelier!" Michelle happily introduced her achievements of the day to William.

William looked around the cabin. Indeed, there were many potted plants, giving the place a lush and vibrant atmosphere.

"I really like the environment here, William. Let's live here after we get married!" Michelle said, looking at William with anticipation in her eyes.

William's hand holding the soup trembled slightly, but he nodded and said, "Sure."

But William was quite worried. He needed to find an opportunity to talk to his parents about this matter. In the past, William didn't have the power to resist their arrangements, but now it was different.

He held one of the top intelligence organizations in the country, and he was already a highly skilled Silver Level expert. There was also the influential WE ARE Chamber, with a market value of nearly 500 billion dollars. New York and Long Island were almost under his control.

He already had enough strength to sit down and have a conversation.

After finishing the meal, William made an excuse to leave the cabin. In a secluded place, he dialed his father's number. While waiting for the call to connect, William couldn't help but feel anxious and uneasy.

The call connected quickly, and a deep and resonant voice came from the other end of the line.

"Why did you call me? Are you facing any difficulties?"

"Dad, I... I miss you!" William said nervously.

"I'm not a fool. What's the matter? I'm in a hurry to attend an international conference," Hector said impatiently.

"Nothing much. I just wanted to tell you that I want to change my wife." As William uttered these words, his heart suddenly tightened, and his heartbeats accelerated.

"Change your wife? Are you trying to cause trouble?" Hector roared. There was a hint of warning in his tone.

"I don't want to marry Sophia. I want to marry someone else." After taking a deep breath, William finally said what he had been wanting to say for a while.

"This marriage was arranged by your grandfather, William. What's your problem?" Hector scolded him angrily over the phone.

"I just want to marry the girl I like!" William's voice suddenly grew louder. His tone was firm. He was no longer the weak William from a year ago.

"Wait for me! I'll come find you tomorrow, and you'll see how I beat you up!" Hector said angrily and hung up the phone.

William couldn't calm his thoughts. This day would come sooner or later, so he might as well face it earlier.

William took a deep breath and calmly returned to the cabin.

At this moment, Michelle was making the bed. It was a large bed with two separate blankets.

"William, you're back. I've made the bed for you. From now on, we'll sleep together but with separate blankets. Don't cross the line, okay?" Michelle scolded him playfully.

"Don't worry. I won't cross the line," William smiled and replied. Until he could be sure of marrying Michelle, he wouldn't make any moves.

"Actually, you can ignore what I said." Michelle had a shy and charming expression.

William was stunned and remained speechless for a while.

Late at night, William found it difficult to fall asleep. Tomorrow, he would have to face his father and talk about this matter face-to-face. He didn't know if he could get the result he wanted.

Looking at Michelle sleeping peacefully beside him, his heart suddenly quieted down. He silently vowed to marry her in this lifetime.

Early in the morning, when William woke up, he discovered that Michelle was actually curled up on top of him, resting her head on his chest and sleeping soundly like an octopus.

"You told me not to cross the line, but here you are, climbing onto me!" William smiled and held her in his arms, savoring this moment of intimacy.

However, a phone call interrupted them - it was from his father. William's face changed immediately. He gently pushed Michelle aside and rushed out of the house to answer the phone.

"Come meet me at Long Island Airport, private jet number 113." After saying this, Hector hung up the phone. William didn't expect his father to actually come to Long Island, and by a private jet no less. It showed how much importance he attached to this matter.

"I wonder if I can persuade him." William felt anxious and uneasy. After leaving a note for Michelle in the cabin, he headed down the mountain.

William drove directly to Long Island Airport and went straight to Private Jet 113. As he approached, he marveled at the luxury of the private jet, silently admiring his wealthy father. Upon entering the aircraft, William saw Hector and Cynthia inside, enjoying a meal of steak and red wine. Their mood was not as bad as William had imagined.

"Mom, dad, you're having a meal!" William walked over with a smile.

"Your mother has already told me about your situation," Hector said.

The flight attendant brought more food to the table. William shamelessly took a seat and started eating. He had hurried out in the morning and hadn't eaten breakfast yet.

"I heard you recently started WE ARE Chamber," Hector asked, cutting his steak.

"Yes, it's already valued at 500 billion dollars. I practically own New York and Long Island," William replied nonchalantly.

"Is this why you're so confident? How can a small achievement like this make you so conceited?" Hector said disdainfully.

"I am the master of the Ocean Guild." William continued cutting his steak, his tone still calm.

Hector and Cynthia turned their heads almost simultaneously, displaying a look of disbelief on their faces.

"Are you serious?" Hector asked, wanting clarification.

"Yes, I am now in charge of one of the top intelligence organizations in the country." William felt a hint of pride in his heart when he saw his parents' unexpected expressions.

"No wonder you speak with such confidence. However, with just these two accomplishments, you are not qualified to call off the engagement." Hector shook his head.

"Is that so?" William stood up, clenched his fist, and struck the cabin wall with half of his strength. Suddenly, an immense surge of supernatural power burst forth, blasting a large hole in the plane.

"Do you like this? Am I qualified now?"

Hector and Cynthia were stunned upon witnessing this. They were unable to speak for quite some time.
