Chapter 396 The Real Trump Card

Finally, Flood Boxing Guild and Das Guild faced each other for the first time.

One was a local powerhouse in Canada, while the other was a distinguished figure from outside. Both were evenly matched!

Neil led a group of people and arrived in front of Santiago in a grand manner.

"Long time no see, I hope you are well!" It seemed like Neil knew Santiago and started chatting as soon as they met.

"You look much fatter. Looks like you've been eating well recently!" Santiago responded with a double entendre.

"Eating well is not the main point. The most important thing is that my appetite has gotten bigger. I can never fill my stomach." Neil retorted without backing down. Since they were going all out, there was no need to hold back anymore.

"A big appetite is a good thing, but I'm afraid you won't be able to stomach my flesh." Santiago said with a sinister tone, clenching his teeth.

"There's no flesh that I can't stomach. Worst case scenario, I'll just overcook it and eat it." Neil responded with a smile.

"Haha, you truly are a straightforward person." Santiago laughed heartily and then glanced at the people behind Neil, speaking somewhat disdainfully. "Is this all the people you brought?"

"To undermine Das Guild, these people are enough!" Neil confidently retorted back, mainly because he had a backup.

"You really have guts. Well then, let's begin. Should I go over the rules again?" Santiago said with a gloomy smile.

"If I lose, we will leave Canada and compensate you with one billion dollars. If you lose, I want you to step down and let me take over as the Das Guild master, and you must leave Canada, never to return for the rest of your life."

"Step into Canada," Neil naturally understood the rules of the challenge, but before discussing the stakes of winning or losing, they needed to be made clear. "No problem, but I have one more condition. If you lose, I want a person's head," Santiago's tone carried a hint of murderous intention.

"Whose head?" Neil asked. "His head," Santiago pointed at William. Santiago was aware that William was the one who killed their guild members. He had to avenge his comrades. At the same time, with William being a young expert already at the Silver Level, he would undoubtedly become a threat to their guild. So, today, he had to be killed in order for Santiago to feel at ease.

Neil frowned and didn't dare to answer. After all, the Flood Boxing Guild and William only had a cooperative relationship. However, William walked up with a faint smile and said, "No problem, if we lose, you can have my head!" "Good, that's settled. Let's begin!" Santiago called out loudly. But Delilah came up with some concern.

"William, you don't need to risk your life like this." "It's fine, they won't take my life. But if you think you can't win later, surrender quickly," William said before following Neil towards the Arturo arena, leaving Delilah lost in her thoughts. "Is he concerned about me? He must be."

Shortly after, the challenge began. The rules were simple: whoever remained on the arena won the competition. Therefore, those who went up first were mostly used to consume the opponent's stamina.

The person from Das Guild went up first, a young student in his thirties with decent strength but not yet at the level of a grandmaster. Neil found a young student to confront him. Then, a young student dressed in a black robe shot up to the arena like a gust of wind and engaged with the person from Das Guild. William found a large tree and jumped onto it.

This guerrilla warfare tactic took a fair amount of time, but victory could only be achieved by waiting. Delilah followed William and jumped onto the tree, sitting on a sturdy branch next to him. "William, are you confident in winning this challenge?" Delilah asked nervously.

"Of course, I am confident. Otherwise, wouldn't I be betraying you all?" William answered her question while his gaze searched through the crowd of Das Guild members, finally landing on the old man sitting next to Santiago. That abyss-like aura, not even William coul resist its temptation.

"At a glance, this old man seems to be the true trump card of Das Guild!" William murmured to himself.

In the middle of the match, a grandmaster-level expert from Das Guild stepped forward and consecutively defeated four or five members of the Flood Boxing Guild.

With no other choice, Neil also sent out a grandmaster-level expert, Cameron.

In terms of the number of grandmaster-level experts, both sides were relatively equal. The key to victory or defeat now lay in that old man and William.

As soon as Cameron took the stage, he fought fiercely against the grandmaster-level expert from Das Guild and quickly forced him to retreat.

However, Das Guild sent out another grandmaster-level expert, and after a bout of fighting, both of them had depleted a considerable amount of stamina and superpower.

In this back-and-forth battle, the early stage mainly focused on wearing each other out, so having more people still had its advantages.

Seeing that their numbers were decreasing, Neil grew anxious and went to find William.

"William, what about the reinforcements you mentioned? Let them appear quickly, my side can't hold on much longer."

"Don't worry, be patient!" William didn't actually call many people over, considering that the members of the Ocean Guild were adept at gathering intelligence rather than direct combat.

Additionally, he didn't want to expose the members of the Ocean Guild. After all, losing other people was acceptable, but losing his own subordinates would still be distressing for him.

"Sooner would be better, I can't hold on much longer!" Neil grew increasingly anxious.

"Dad, I'll go next, let me take over!" Delilah jumped down from a tree and drew the slender long sword at her waist.

"Daughter, be careful, if you can't win, give up!" Neil said with concern on his face.

William also jumped down and said to her, "Be careful! Don't hurt yourself!"

"I know." Delilah felt a surge of joy in her heart. She saw the concern in William's eyes and immediately hopped onto the arena, effortlessly repelling a member of Das Guild.

Upon seeing Neil's daughter take the stage, Ricardo's eyes turned cold as he stepped forward onto the arena.

"You killed my brother, today I will seek revenge!"

"Stop the nonsense and come kill me if you're capable." Delilah said as she thrust her slender long sword, and Ricardo raised his own sword to meet it.

The two quickly engaged in a battle. Ricardo's fighting style was ruthless, with every move lethal. It seemed that he truly wanted to kill Delilah.

Although Delilah had good talent and strong power, she was still young and lacking in both the endurance of her superpower and fighting experience. Soon, she began to show signs of defeat.

"Oh no, Delilah is about to be defeated." Both William and Neil noticed it, and Ricardo kicked Delilah away and rushed forward, wanting to kill her with one strike. Neil's heart pounded as he wanted to jump onto the arena to save his daughter. However, there was already a figure who had leaped onto the arena before him.

It was William. As he jumped onto the arena, the Dragontooth Sword flew out of his hand, directly aiming at Ricardo. William caught the falling Delilah and together they stood firmly on the arena, embracing each other. The broken sword soared through the air and swiftly ended Ricardo's life by striking his throat.

The entire crowd was in an uproar witnessing this scene. The leader of Das Guild finally raised his head, revealing a hint of surprise and greed in his abyss-like eyes when he saw the Dragontooth Sword.
