Chapter 353 Searching the Mountains

Euler Hill, usually bustling with tourists, was now deserted. Even the main gate was closed, and various paths leading to the mountaintop were blocked by huge rocks. The only way up now was through several wild paths between the mountains.

The Oscar couple struggled along one of these wild paths,

Occasionally, they would stop to wipe off the sweat.

"Where is he taking us?" Linda was getting tired, her face pale, and she was out of breath.

"I think he's taking us to meet our daughter. I wonder how Julia managed to get Boss Jones and Mr. Sullivan involved. Both of them are influential figures on Long Island, and it's surprising that they came to rescue us personally," Oscar pondered this question along the way.

"Yeah, I'm curious too. These two are high society people, so how did they suddenly appear at our doorstep? And it happened when Bazel came to pressure you," Linda also couldn't make sense of it. She absolutely didn't believe that her daughter could have arranged it herself; as a mother, she knew her daughter's abilities very well.

"Let's wait until we meet Julia to find out! We won't be able to guess anything by speculating blindly," Oscar wiped his sweat and continued following the middle-aged man in the gray robe up the mountain.

After walking and resting along the way for over an hour, they finally arrived at Coral Tower, where Michelle and Julia had been eagerly waiting in front of the villa.

"They're here, my parents are here!" Julia saw her parents and immediately ran over with excitement!

Michelle finally breathed a sigh of relief, but she didn't expect William's influence to be this great. She had just mentioned it to Antony, asking for his help to bring Julia's parents up the mountain, but she never expected him to actually do it.

"Julia, Michelle, seeing you both safe puts my mind at ease," Linda felt relieved seeing that both kids were fine. She couldn't help but feel a bit scared when she thought about what had happened earlier.

"You two have climbed the mountain for so long, come inside the villa and rest. I'll cook for you," Michelle considerately invited them to sit.

"Mom and Dad, come inside first!" Julia also hurried to welcome her parents inside.

Meanwhile, Waverly, who had been waiting on the tree, frowned slightly when she saw that the Oscar couple had successfully climbed up the mountain. She seemed to remember something and instinctively looked up at the sky.

What she saw startled her. There was a black dot hovering about a hundred meters above her head.

"Oh no, Fennis has been following them. No wonder they were able to easily come up the mountain. They must have wanted to follow them and find the way up," Waverly didn't know about Michelle and William's relationship, so she just assumed that Fennis was following the Oscar couple purely to find the path up the mountain.

"Damn drone! I need to find a way to shoot it down." Waverly found a stone and quietly threw it towards the drone.

Hiding behind a big tree, Waverly would be hard to find if one didn't search carefully. The drone's visual range was limited, but Waverly's eyes were fixated on it.

The enclosed space was too small, so it couldn't react to the incoming pebbles and was directly penetrated, flying diagonally into the valley.

"After I took down the drone, let's see how you'll track us," Waverly swiftly jumped down from the big tree and walked briskly into the villa. With a stern expression, she said to Michelle and the others, "We've been discovered here, we need to find a new place to hide quickly."

"We just climbed the mountain and finally got to rest. Why do we have to move again?" Linda was exhausted. She had climbed the mountain for over an hour and didn't feel like moving anymore.

"You've been tracked by a drone. People will be coming up the mountain soon. If you don't want to die, it's best to follow me and change locations," Waverly said as she approached Michelle and told her, "You must come with me. I can't guarantee the fate of the others."

Saying that, Waverly directly pulled Michelle along and headed outside, leaving Julia's family dumbfounded.

"What does this mean? She only cares about Michelle's life and not ours?" Oscar was somewhat annoyed and dissatisfied with Waverly's attitude.

"Mom and Dad, we better listen to her! Let's leave here quickly," Julia, with a clear mind, understood how formidable Waverly was.

"Well then, what about William? Wasn't he here on vacation with you all? Where is he?" Oscar asked as he quickly followed them outside after taking a sip of tea.

"I don't know where he went. Let's not worry about him and hurry on our way," Julia urged.

While Waverly led Michelle and the others to find a new hiding place, Fennis gathered a large group of people at the foot of Euler Hill. There were over two hundred elite members of The Earth specializing in reconnaissance on Long Island.

At this time, they each held a portrait in their hands, and Fennis stood in front to give orders.

"The person in the portrait is named Michelle. I want all of you to search for her with all your might when we go up the mountain, and she must be captured alive. Do you understand?"

"We understand!" The two hundred people responded in unison.

"Good, now go up the mountain!" With Fennis giving the command, the two hundred people rushed out like a flood.

They first smashed through the entrance of Euler Hill's tourist site, and then split into several dozen teams to search for people on the mountain.

Fennis personally led a dozen or so subordinates and headed straight towards Coral Tower. Before the drone crashed, they had discovered that Oscar and his wife had entered this villa, so they had to hurry over.

Fennis grew up here and was very familiar with Euler Hill. Coupled with his formidable strength, he arrived at Coral Tower from the foot of the mountain in just over ten minutes. However, when he arrived, the place was long deserted, with no one in sight.

"It seems like we arrived a step too late! But they shouldn't have gone far. There's only one passage to the Ocean Guild, and they've sealed it themselves. They probably can't pass through for now; I believe they should still be in Euler Hill," Fennis quickly deduced their whereabouts and led his team to search the nearby forest.

However, even after searching Euler Hill for a whole day and night with over two hundred people, they still couldn't find Michelle and the others. This left Fennis feeling anxious.

"Damn it, where could they be hiding? Continuing the search like this is pointless," Fennis stood on top of a large tree, overlooking Euler Hill from above, but he found nothing of value.

Suddenly, his gaze fell upon the Coral Tower not far away, and his eyes brightened.

"Michelle stayed in Coral Tower for a while; her scent should still be there. If we use the tracking dogs at this moment, it will be twice as effective." With this thought in mind, Fennis jumped down from the tree.

He then waved to his assistant and gave instructions, saying, "Bring our ten tracking dogs; I need them urgently."
