Chapter 386 Making a Puppet of You

On the other side of the door, a slightly chubby man was embracing two girls and singing happily.

In total, there were three men and four beautiful women playing joyfully in the private room. Kevin and his two close confidants each had a woman with them, and two beautiful women were sitting on either side of him.

Suddenly...

The door of the private room was pushed open and an ordinary-looking man entered with a seductive and glamorous woman by his side.

"Who are you?" Kevin turned his head immediately, on alert, followed by his two loyal men.

"How did you get in? Where are my guards?"

"Those two are currently sleeping," William replied with a hint of indifference.

"Sorry for the intrusion. Allow me to introduce myself. I am William Brown. I came here today with my assistant to discuss a big deal with you."

With those words, William found a sofa and sat down, while Vivian stood beside him.

Kevin scrutinized William, and his two companions also cautiously examined the unexpected guest. One of them, upon seeing William's ordinary attire, couldn't hide the disdain in his eyes.

"William? Where did this poor man come from? I've never heard of him."

But before he finished speaking, William lifted his finger and a fierce surge of power shot out, causing a strand of his hair to fall and leaving the revelers shocked.

"It seems you're a skilled martial artist. So, what brings you here?" Kevin's expression turned serious.

Kevin withdrew his hand from the girl's leg, lit a cigarette, took a puff, and leaned back on the sofa.

"What I'm about to say is of great importance, and I'd like to talk to you privately," William stated calmly.

"Interesting." Kevin waved his hand, dismissing the people from the room. Now, only Kevin, William, and Vivian remained.

"We can speak now!" Kevin continued while taking another drag of his cigarette.

Truth be told, he was also feeling a bit nervous. This stranger had just subdued his two bodyguards, and that finger strike had made his scalp tingle. If this person wanted to kill him, Kevin believed he wouldn't stand a chance.

Although he appeared calm on the surface he was actually quite anxious inside.

"I want you to become the Chairman of the Campbell family!" William said calmly, as if discussing a very simple matter.

"Me become Chairman? Haha, are you joking? Who do you think you are?" Kevin chuckled.

"Never mind who I am. I just want to know if you want to be the Chairman," William looked into Kevin's eyes, searching for any trace of desire in his hazy gaze.

"I am already old. All I want is to live a life of indulgence. Being Chairman is too tiring," Kevin said, taking a drag from his cigarette.

He concealed that flicker of desire deep within his eyes.

"Then forgive me for the disturbance. It seems you have grown accustomed to a life of waste. Once you return to the Campbell family, you'll be nothing more than a despised dog," William said. And as he was about to leave, Kevin stopped him.

"Wait, who are you calling a useless person?" Kevin took his cigarette out of his mouth, threw it on the ground, and stomped on it forcefully.

It seemed that William's remark hit a nerve.

"And what about you? Aren't you a useless person? Marginalized by the family, excluded from the engineering projects, not even a share in the company. You can only hide here every day. If you're not useless, then who is?" William provocatively retorted.

"Well said. I didn't expect you to know more than me. It seems you've thoroughly understood me even before coming here." Kevin wasn't naive and immediately realized that William's approach and support had a purpose.

"Not only do I understand you, but I also know every detail and secret about the Campbell family," William said casually.

"Oh really? Do you know how many mistresses my older brother, Colin, has?" Kevin tried to test him.

"Three! His legal wife is the current one, while he keeps a mistress in a luxury mansion on the outskirts and secretly supports a female celebrity who allegedly gave birth to his son," William stated matter-of-factly.

While William spoke nonchalantly, Kevin was shocked to hear this. This person actually knew so many secrets about the Campbell family! This in itself was a terrifying revelation.

"Who are you exactly? How could you know so many of our secrets?" Kevin's face changed, and he began to feel afraid of William.

"Oh, by the way, I have one more thing to tell you. If you don't proceed with this deal, Master's illegitimate child would be very interested," William said with a faint smile.

Only Ocean Guild members could investigate these secrets.

The mention of the illegitimate child startled Kevin.

"Alright, I agree to do this deal with you. But how will you help me?" he asked.

"It's simple. Call your two most trusted subordinates in," William said, raising his lips.

Kevin didn't understand, but he followed the instruction and called in his two subordinates.

As soon as the two subordinates noticed Kevin's unusual expression, they became alert.

However, William swiftly struck them with his hand, directly killing them. Their bodies went limp and fell to the ground.

This scene shocked not only Kevin but also Vivian.

"What, what did you do to them?" Kevin's face turned pale as he didn't expect this young man before him to be so ruthless.

William spoke calmly, his action intended to instill true fear in Kevin and ensure he dared not resist. "These two weren't suitable to assist you. I took care of them. Tomorrow, I will send a Grandmaster-level expert to help you. From now on, if I have anything to say, he will convey it to you, and you just need to follow his instructions."

"You, you want me to be your puppet," Kevin said. He was no fool and immediately understood what was going on, a chill running down his spine.

"Is it not good enough to be the chairman of the first family? Or do you also want to be like those two on the ground, unable to see the sun tomorrow?" William said with a hint of coldness.

Kevin's face grew paler as a shiver ran down his spine and fear crept up. This young man before him was too terrifying. He feared that if he didn't agree with him, he would die here on the spot.

After swallowing a mouthful of saliva, Kevin seemed to make up his mind.

"Fine, I agree. As long as you let me become the chairman, I will do whatever you say," Kevin, who had nothing to lose at this point, knew how to make the right choice.

"Good, continue playing then! I'm leaving," William said, leaving the room with Vivian. Kevin, on the other hand, sat pale-faced on the sofa.
