Chapter 212 Could it be that she's starting to like him?

Jasper soon arrived at the teahouse Fiona had provided.

"Fiona, you finally agreed to meet me," Jasper said, staring at Fiona with delight and excitement, as if he had been rejected by her before.

William subconsciously turned to look and saw Jasper, who was short and fat. It was no wonder Fiona didn't like him.

"Jasper, you've come just in time. I want to introduce someone to you," Fiona said, sitting closely next to William and then pulling him along to introduce, "He is my boyfriend. From now on, don't bother me anymore. As for the investment matter, my boyfriend has already solved it for me, so your family doesn't need to help my dad."

After saying this, Fiona affectionately held William's arm, putting on a show for Jasper, letting him understand that she already had a boyfriend and should stop pestering her.

"What do you mean, Fiona? Your dad has already agreed to our family. Are you going back on your word now? And who is this masked man beside you?" Jasper's face was full of anger, his eyes glaring at William, showing a hint of murderous intent.

Being in love with a girl for over twenty years, almost about to marry her, only to be stolen by someone else, was indeed an infuriating situation.

"I dare you to try it. Anyway, I've made it clear to you. I don't want your family's investment, and you better not bother me anymore," Fiona said, pulling William's arm.

William and Fiona stood up and started to walk away.

Jasper was unwilling to let Fiona go so easily and blocked their path.

"If you don't explain everything to me today, you won't be going anywhere. Who is this man?" Jasper tightened his fist, hiding his murderous intentions. He dared to snatch his woman, seeking his own death.

"I've already told you, he's my boyfriend now. Step aside," Fiona replied coldly, surprised that Jasper still wanted to cling to her.

Seeing this man blocking their way, William furrowed his brow in annoyance and then reached around to hold Fiona's waist, pulling her closer to him. He spoke to Jasper with a hint of threat in his voice.

"She is my woman now. If you dare to pester her again in the future, don't blame me for beating you up!"

As William held Fiona's waist from behind, she blushed instantly. But she understood that it was to make Jasper face reality and back off. She then tightly wrapped her arms around William and even rested her head on his chest.

She bit her tender lips and said firmly, "We already moved in together, I am already his. You don't need to bother anymore."

Though her words were subtle, anyone could understand their meaning. William was momentarily stunned by Fiona's audacity to say such things just to make Jasper give up! But her words only further enraged Jasper.

"Bastard. You piece of shit!" Jasper suddenly lost control. The woman he had secretly loved was actually being slept with by someone else. He couldn't bear it anymore and took out a small knife from his pocket, moved towards William.

Fiona's face turned pale with fear, but William remained calm and composed. Pushing Fiona away, he kicked Jasper to the ground. With a step forward, he forcefully stomped on Jasper's hand gripping the knife.

Jasper howled in pain.

"Listen to me, if you continue to act like a mad dog, be careful that I cripple you. And it would be best for you to stay away from Fiona, she is my woman now." William bent down to pick up the knife from his hand and then held Fiona as they left directly. He was willing to go to great lengths to drive this fatso away.

As Jasper got back up from the ground, his face was filled with rage. Shouting after Fiona's figure, his eyes were bloodshot, he said in a hoarse voice, "Fiona, you will regret your choice today."

After William and Fiona came out, they walked together for a while, shoulder to shoulder. Then, William turned to her and said, "He probably won't bother you anymore in the future."

"Thank you." Fiona blushed, remembering the intimate moment they had just shared. She felt a bit embarrassed and nervous, as she had never been so close to a man before.

I've had some contact with Nick before.

"No need to thank me. Let me take you home!" William said calmly.

"Are you going back so soon? Can you accompany me a little longer?" Fiona seemed unwilling to part with William so quickly, but then she realized her words could be misunderstood as flirtatious and hastily explained, "I didn't mean it that way. What I meant was that there's no one at home, and going back would be boring. It would be better if we continue strolling around."

"Alright, I'll accompany you for a little longer." William didn't think too much about it and continued strolling with her.

Fiona stole a glance at William and nervously asked, "Do you have a girlfriend?"

After saying this, her lively eyes showed both nervousness and anticipation.

"Yes," William's lips curled slightly. After today, this identity won't appear again anyway, so he didn't mind teasing Fiona a bit.

"Just started today."

Upon hearing the first half of his answer, Fiona suddenly felt empty in her heart. But when she heard the second half and realized what he meant, her face quickly turned crimson. Wasn't it her who asked William to be her boyfriend?

"Hey, do you always tease girls like this?" Fiona's face blushed at being teased by William, and her heart raced a bit too!

"Didn't you ask me to be your boyfriend? How did it turn into teasing you?" William innocently remarked.

"You, you..." Fiona was speechless at his response, but she felt somewhat delighted in her heart. She even silently accepted William's words. Then, she shyly stole another glance at him and weakly asked, "What kind of girls do you like?"

"I like ladies like you! I dislike those wild party-going girls the most." William spun his eyes playfully, once again teasing her, to see how she would react.

Fiona felt a bit embarrassed on her face and immediately said, "I don't like those wild girls either. And I've never been to those places."

"Is that so?" William could barely hold back his laughter. Fiona actually lied! She used to always talk about going to wild parties, and now she says she doesn't like them and has never been there.

If it were the first time he met Fiona, he might have been fooled by her sweet and adorable appearance.

"Of course it's true." Fiona suddenly became nervous, clutching the strings of her bag tightly. Her expression became a bit unnatural, and her eyes avoided looking at William, fearing that he would see through her pretense of being a lady.

"Okay, let's go buy some clothes!" William smiled and decided to stop teasing her. He took Fiona to buy clothes.

It was already evening when William finally drove her back to Ring Villa.

Fiona waved goodbye to him with some reluctance and kept looking back at William's car as he drove away.

And after William finished escorting Fiona, he went back to Crown Villa, took off the black mask, and changed his clothes and appearance back. However, it was already late, so William chose to stay at Crown Villa instead of going to Ring Villa.

At that moment, Fiona was sitting on the sofa with Kayla, chatting about the meeting.

"Fiona, how was it?" Kayla asked, being nosy.

"It was not bad! Even though he was wearing a mask, it felt cool, very mysterious. He even helped me and gifted me a bunch of clothes! Overall, I had a great time meeting him!" Fiona said, but couldn't help but blush when she recalled the ambiguous scene of their bodies close together.

"Is that so? Why are you blushing? Could it be that you've developed feelings for him?" Kayla teased when she saw Fiona blushing.

"No way! It's just too hot in the room. I'm going to start live streaming!" Fiona, feeling caught in her feelings by Kayla's remark, hurriedly went upstairs.

"You say no, but I think you have a crush." Kayla chuckled and teased.

After returning to her room, Fiona immediately went to her computer. She opened it and logged into the live streaming software. Instead of starting the live stream right away, she chose to have a private chat with Raining.

"Are you home?" After typing these words, Fiona eagerly awaited his reply.

While waiting, images of the two of them embracing tightly kept popping up in her mind, making her feel both shy and timid.

She waited for a long time, but there was no response from him, which made Fiona feel a little disappointed.

"Maybe he doesn't like me." Fiona inexplicably felt somewhat saddened. After waiting for a while and still not receiving a reply, Fiona began to worry if something had happened to him. She immediately sent another message.

"Reply to me when you see this." Then came another long wait.

Fortunately, this time William quickly replied to her.

"Just finished showering. Aren't you live streaming today?"

Only then did Fiona realize that she had been waiting for his reply and forgot to start the live stream. However, her emotions fluctuated with William's response.

That night, Fiona couldn't sleep. She had never worried so much about a person before. It was even more severe than the sleepless night when her father ordered her to marry Jasper! The image of the two of them embracing each other frequently appeared in her mind, making her feel both embarrassed and secretly delighted!

But the next morning, they were awakened by a series of urgent knocking on their door!
