Chapter 19 Madison's Birthday Invitation
After accepting Michelle's invitation, William left the reunion. But before leaving, he paid for the party expenses. Once William made a promise, he would not go back on it, and besides, the money was nothing to him.
After dropping Liam off at Concord Hospital, William drove straight to the place in his memory, River Park, which was also the place where he used to meet Michelle in college.
It was the designated spot Michelle had mentioned, and only the two of them knew about it.
About half an hour later, William arrived at River Park. There were very few people in the park at this time the evening.
After parking the car by the side of the road, William took a leisurely stroll around.
"It's just like how I remember it!" William murmured to himself.
William was feeling a little sentimental. Four years had passed, and the place hadn't changed much. Even the trees and flowers seemed to have stayed the same. It was as if they hadn't grown at all during these four years.
"That pavilion is still there!" William saw the pavilion from afar, where he used to meet Michelle frequently. With a slight smile on his lips, he walked over and leaned on the wooden railing of the pavilion, enjoying the surrounding beauty with keen interest.
However, before he could fully appreciate it, he received a message on his phone. William pulled out his phone and checked it. The message was from Madison, inviting him to celebrate her birthday tomorrow night at the Ocean Bar.
William thought for a moment. Tomorrow was really Madison's birthday. Although she was his ex-girlfriend, it wouldn't hurt to wish her a happy birthday. He was only afraid that Daniel would target him again.
"Alright, I’ll definitely be there tomorrow evening," William replied with a slight smile. If Daniel dared to target him, William wouldn’t hesitate to fight back. He didn't take Daniel seriously since he was only the heir of a second-rate conglomerate,.
Meanwhile, Madison was singing with Daniel on the other end of the phone. When she saw William's response, her face lit up.
"Daniel, that moron, replied to my message. He promised to come to my birthday party tomorrow night."
"Good, we’ll be on home turf this time. Let's make sure he loses all his dignity tomorrow night. So what if he won the lottery? He thinks he can be arrogant in front of me just because he has some money? I'll show him what I can do to him," Daniel's eyes flickered with a hint of coldness.
In Daniel's eyes, William was definitely a poor guy. That so-called Ferrari and Rolls-Royce was definitely a scam by the people at the luxury car dealership. He wanted to force William to reveal his true colors and severely humiliate him. Only then could he relieve the hatred in his heart.
"Oh, and Madison, invite more of your friends over tomorrow. They’ll be able to see William's true nature," Daniel smirked.
"Okay, I'll invite them right away." Madison had also heard about William winning the lottery, so she was more convinced that he had been bluffing all along.

Daniel's smile deepened slightly. But he had another reason for inviting Michelle to the party. He wanted to get closer to that goddess.
He had originally wanted to approach Michelle at this class reunion. He never expected to be kicked out and humiliated by William. He would take advantage of Madison's birthday tomorrow to fight on his own turf. He was determined to make William pay.
He would expose the poor man’s identity. He also wanted to establish a relationship with Michelle. Although he hadn't met Michelle in person, he had seen her photos and knew that she was stunningly beautiful, even more so than Madison.
