Chapter 11 Another of the Most Expensive Car
"Are you kidding me?" Ella was surprised but still happy for William.
"I'm buying it for my boss. I don't have that kind of money," William smiled awkwardly, choosing not to disclose that he was a super-rich man. He preferred to keep a low profile.
"That's great. It's better than being a salesperson here like Pme," Ella said, suddenly realizing that compared to her current decline, being able to help the boss buy a Ferrari was not bad at all.
While they were catching up, some old salespeople nearby couldn't help but shake their heads. They sneered at Ella.
"That newcomer has no eye for discerning wealthy individuals. You can tell that guy isn’t rich just by looking at him, but she’s so deep in conversation with him."
"It's none of our business. We don't have to worry as long as someone is with that poor guy. We won't be penalized even if he complains later."
"Yeah, forget about her. Look, another customer just came in."
As the other salespeople mocked Ella, they saw a middle-aged man in elegant attire enter through the door. He wore a shiny watch on his wrist and held a young, beautiful, and sexy woman on his arm. It was obvious that he was a wealthy individual from a glance.
"I’ll serve this customer, everyone."
"Let me handle it. My performance hasn't met the target this month yet."
"Don't fight with me..."
A few salespeople competed to attend to this new customer.
Meanwhile, William caught sight of those snobbish salespeople in his peripheral vision. There was a vast gap in their indifference toward him and the enthusiasm they were showing to this customer.
William smirked, then turned to Ella and said, "Oh, you haven't shown me any cars yet. Which is the most expensive Ferrari in your store? It needs to be available right now. I don't want to make any reservations. My boss is in a rush."
William planned to take the car to his class reunion tomorrow. If he made a reservation, he would miss the reunion.
"We were having such a nice chat that I forgot to show you the cars. Follow me." Ella immediately led William to a sleek black sports car.
"This is a Ferrari F12 supercar, currently priced at $5.5 million. It's the best Ferrari in our store, and you can drive it away immediately." Ella showed the car to William earnestly.
"Great, I'll take this one. Do you have any other models that are even more expensive? Reservations are fine too. I want to buy another one, but it has to be the most expensive car here," William wanted to boost Ella's sales performance and put those salespeople who had looked down on him in their place.
"Do you still want to buy the most expensive car? Maybe you should discuss it with your boss," Ella said incredulously. But she was starting to get excited. She could hardly recognize this William. He was going for the most luxurious option right away.
"I make the decisions when it comes to buying cars," William said nonchalantly.
"The boss listens to you?" Ella looked skeptical.
"I misspoke. The boss listens to me when it comes to buying cars. I can choose whatever car and how many I want," William quickly covered up with a lie.
"I see. It seems like your boss trusts you a lot," Ella sighed in relief. With that in mind, she confidently led William to a white Rolls-Royce and started showing it to him.
"This is the Rolls-Royce Phantom, the most expensive model we have in our store. It's only available for pre-order, but I can help you apply for a discounted price."
"No need for a discount. I'll buy it and pay in full." William took out the Black Gold SVIP card from his wallet. This card had an unlimited credit limit. He could swipe as much as he wanted.
Ella was astounded and trembled a little. She had worked at this car dealership for two months and had never seen such a wealthy customer like William before.
When William saw Ella's surprise, he quickly explained, "It's all the boss's money, and it will help boost your sales performance."
"I can hardly recognize you, William. Are you sure you don't want me to negotiate a better price for you?" Ella asked earnestly.
"No need. Take me to the payment counter." William smiled slightly.
"Alright, follow me then." Ella led William to the payment counter. When they arrived, Ella warmly addressed the middle-aged woman in charge of collecting payments. "Please process this payment for me. The Ferrari F12 and the Rolls-Royce Phantom, for a total of 14.7 million dollars."
The payment collector couldn't help but be amazed when she heard that. She looked at the seemingly ordinary William next to Ella in disbelief.
"Those two cars? Are you sure? Will you be paying in installments?" The employee clearly couldn't believe that an ordinary guy like him could afford those two top-tier luxury cars.
"No, I’ll be making full payment in one go!" William quickly interjected. He handed over his Black Gold SVIP card to her. "Please swipe the card!"
