Chapter 277 I Will Make You Apologize
Larry was too weak to oppose William's words and could only let him control the situation.
Soon, Larry managed to get through to Raymond on the phone. Looking at William's men, Larry had to lie to Raymond, saying that he had a good deal for him.
"Larry, are you really being so kind?" Raymond's deep voice came through the phone, and because it was on speakerphone, William and his men could hear it too.
Larry glanced at William, who was staring at him coldly. He trembled all over before responding, "I don't want to handle it alone. I'm afraid the other party will be too dominant. So, I thought of bringing you along."
"Oh? Really? Who is it?" Raymond suddenly became interested.
"Do you know about the Flynn family in the East district? I found out some inside information. Master Flynn will die in two days, and his sons are fighting over the family fortune. So, if we go there now, we can definitely gain a lot of benefits," Larry said, throwing out the bait that Raymond had always been eyeing.
Hearing that it was about dividing the Flynn family's assets, Raymond's interest was immediately piqued.
"Alright! When he dies, the Flynn family's assets will be ours!" Raymond agreed quickly. He had long been coveting the Flynn family's assets. He would never miss this opportunity.
Larry quickly informed him of the agreed time and location.
After ending the call, Larry put on a mournful face and said, "I did as you asked and managed to trick Raymond. Shouldn't you let me go now?"
William had never considered letting him go. Larry had misunderstood the situation.
The fishing bait was really effective; Raymond was caught in an instant. William couldn't bear to let him go. He tapped Larry's shoulder and said, "This isn't over yet. Tonight, you're coming with us."
In front of William, Larry could only agree obediently.
William took his men to the Redcat Club. He brought Sharon, Baca, Beauvoir, and everyone else along, leaving only ten guys at Garden Villa in case someone tried to kidnap Sophia again.
During the day, Redcat Club wasn't usually open for business. So when William and his crew arrived, they booked the entire bar.
"You sure you want to book the whole place? It'll cost a million dollars," the boss said nervously. He noticed Larry, the boss of the East District's gray area, who was accompanied by dozens of people. How could he not be afraid?
William couldn't be bothered with him and handed him a check for a million dollars. Then, he led his crew inside.
The boss was too scared to make a sound. He hurriedly called someone over to attend to them.
Meanwhile, Baca, Lillian, and the others followed William's plan and began to hide. The martial arts students pretended to be customers, making everything appear less suspicious.
Night fell quickly. A middle-aged man with a shaved head and a fierce expression brought his subordinates to Redcat Club. He glanced at the neon sign and grumbled, "The chosen location is a bit low-class."
Redcat Club was just a mid-tier bar. William chose it only because it was close to Garden Villa.
"Let's go in! After we're done here, we'll go find Oscar and give him a good beating. How dare he steal my business!" Raymond spat on the ground, showing his dissatisfaction.
"I heard Oscar has a daughter. She's quite beautiful. We can have some fun with her when the time comes!" one of Raymond's subordinates spoke up.
"Alright, but you'll have to wait until I'm done playing with her. Then I'll reward you all! And Oscar will have to watch everything. Let him open his eyes wide and see the consequences of messing with me!" Raymond's eyes flashed with malicious intent.
"Haha, you know how to play, I admire that."
The group of ten chatted and walked into Redcat Club. Upon entering, they noticed there weren't many people here, and business was slow. Raymond thought it was always like this, reaffirming his previous thoughts.
"This bar really has no customers."
Raymond grumbled as he arrived at the designated VIP room, number 208. As soon as he entered, he unleashed a torrent of curses. "What kind of rubbish place did you choose? We're worth billions of dollars now. Inviting me to this kind of bar for business discussions is like lowering my worth!"
When the door opened, Raymond saw that besides Larry, there were other people inside, at least a dozen. "Who are these people? Are they here for business too?" Raymond asked, casually lighting a cigarette, showing little interest in these unfamiliar faces.
"Are you Raymond?" William, sitting on the sofa, asked him calmly.
"Yes, I am Raymond. And who are you? Do you think you have the right to speak here?" Raymond took a drag of his cigarette and sat across from William, completely disregarding him.
"I want you to apologize to Oscar. What do you think?" William said calmly. He didn't think much of Raymond.
If Raymond showed a good attitude, he would suffer less later. But if he dared to be tough, well, sorry, he would suffer more than Larry soon enough!
"Apologize to Oscar? Haha! So you are Oscar's savior? Dream on!" Raymond spat at William's feet, his expression arrogant. "Let me tell you something. If Oscar dares to snatch my business, I won't let him off! And as for the women in his family, not a single one of them will be spared. Let him know that I'm not someone to mess with."
Raymond was extremely arrogant, but it wasn't surprising. Since Nixon's death and with the help of Mr. Davis, he had done all sorts of bad things. As long as he had fun, he didn't care about the consequences.
No one in the East district dared to provoke Mr. Davis; he was the emperor of the East district.
Hearing this, William was infuriated. Raymond would undoubtedly be a disaster later.
Without needing further instructions, Baca, who was standing by, picked up a wine bottle and smashed it on Raymond's head.
The bottle shattered instantly, and beer mixed with blood ran down Raymond's face. He held his head in pain, but his anger was boiling inside. "Bastard! How dare you hit me? Guys, seize him!"
Raymond stood up while gripping his head and angrily tried to confront William and his companions. Little did he know that his subordinates had already been taken down by Sharon and the others outside. In less than a minute, they were all lying on the ground.
Raymond shouted, and seeing that no one came to support him in the private room, he roared again.
"Everyone, come in! I want to chop someone!" Raymond yelled again, but still no one came in. He angrily opened the door of the private room and saw all ten of his subordinates lying on the ground, sobbing in pain.
"How... How is this possible?" Raymond's face was filled with shock. When he noticed that the private room was surrounded by twenty or thirty people, his expression instantly turned sour.
