Chapter 158 Begging to Sign the Contract
Faced with William; Nathan knew he couldn't win or escape; he had to surrender and beg for mercy.
"So, what do you want in order to let me go? I'll give you money, one million US dollars. Is that enough?" Nathan gulped, looking terrified. He thought that for someone from a poverty-stricken area, one million US dollars was already an astronomical figure.
"I don't want money. I want a 10% share of the Garcia Group in your hands. Of course, I won't just take it for free. Sell it to me for one million US dollars," William said with a smile. Previously, he was thinking about how to acquire a stake in the Garcia Group, and now it had unexpectedly fallen into his lap.
"Impossible! This 10% share is worth at least ten billion US dollars. You think you can buy it for one million dollars? You're dreaming!" Nathan couldn't accept selling his 10% stake in the Garcia Group; it would be outright robbery at that price.
"I will make you agree," William said as he grabbed Nathan and forcefully dragged him towards the tea room's window.
"This is the third floor. I wonder what would happen if I throw you down from here. You probably won't die, but you'll definitely be disabled and unable to run away," William threatened with a smile.
Hearing this; Nathan turned pale, and once again, he begged for mercy.
"William, I'll give you five million US dollars. Spare me this time, okay? I won't dare to offend you again in the future."
William pressed Nathan's upper body against the window, and if he let go, Nathan would be hanging by his head and fall down. If that happened, with his head hitting the ground, he might lose his life.
"I just told you; I'm not interested in money. All I want is the shares you own. One word, will you give them to me or not?" William said in a cold tone, leaving no room for argument. Nathan was unwilling to give up his stake in the Garcia Group like this.
"Kayla, please save me! We may be half-siblings, but you can't just watch me die!" In this life-or-death situation, Nathan disregarded everything else, thinking of Kayla's close relationship with William and hoping she could persuade him.
Unfortunately, Kayla had come to despise Nathan long ago. She didn't even want to look at him and secretly agreed with William's decision. While her methods may have been unsavory, Nathan had never shown her any mercy. Since joining the Garcia family, he had either beaten her or ridiculed her. Taking advantage of this opportunity to acquire his shares was a way to teach him a lesson.
Seeing Kayla refusing to help, Nathan exploded in rage. "Kayla, you wretch! You must have colluded with this poor man to cheat me out of my shares. You'll never get a single cent of the Garcia family's fortune! When I return, I'll make sure Father kicks you out of the family."
Before he could finish his sentence, William swiftly slapped him, completely jolting Nathan back to reality. "Enough nonsense! Believe me when I say I could easily throw you off this window," threatened William, dragging him closer to the edge, scaring Nathan into submission.
"I'll sign, I'll sign!" terrified; Nathan could only defy Kayla in front of her. Faced with William, he could only submit.
"Not bad, I appreciate your willingness to admit your mistake," William smirked slightly and pulled him back, then turned to Kayla. "Kayla, go draft a stock acquisition contract for me. You know how to write it."
"Okay," Kayla nodded and hurried off to find a computer to draft the stock transfer agreement.
Two to three hours later, Kayla returned with a detailed stock transfer agreement in her hand, handing it over to William. "William, this contract is meticulously drafted. Take a look!"
"No need to look, give it to Nathan and have him sign it," William said, glancing at Nathan who was trapped in despair. Nathan, realizing that Kayla was assisting William in deceiving him out of his shares, glared at her with venom.
"Kayla, don't get too cocky. Just because you found a poor man who can fight doesn't mean you can turn the tables. I will show you that you will always be nothing more than a dog of the Garcia family, and you'll never set foot in our house again."
With that, Nathan angrily signed the stock transfer agreement, and stormed out of the room. William received the signed agreement without pursuing Nathan. Instead, he immediately called the head of the security team and ordered them to guard Nathan closely.
All the members of the Garcia family who came have been released.
After completing all this, William was satisfied.
"Kayla, thank you for your hard work. You're one step closer to becoming the chairman of the Garcia Group," William said with a smile, holding the stock transfer contract.
"I hope so!" Kayla forced a smile. After experiencing everything that happened today, her father probably won't acknowledge her anymore, and she might truly have no family left.
Right now, all she wanted was to get drunk and numb herself, forgetting about her troubles.
"Fiona, didn't you want to go bar hopping? I'll take you," Kayla said, wanting to release her frustration.
"Really? But William doesn't allow me to go," Fiona blinked her eyes innocently, looking at William pitifully.
"I'm in a good mood today, so you can go have fun. But remember, don't cause any trouble," William couldn't do anything about her either. He just hoped that she wouldn't attract more jealous men.
The bar was on the fourth floor of Begonia Bar, but before going there, William took them to eat. They had been busy for so long, and they hadn't had dinner yet.
Meanwhile, Nathan and his security personnel scrambled back to the Garcia family mansion.
Norman was still awake at this late hour. Seeing his son and the security personnel return in such a disheveled manner, he couldn't help but frown and ask.
"What about Kayla? And the poor guy who hit you? Why didn't you bring them back?"
"Dad, Kayla betrayed us. She actually conspired with that poor guy and tricked me out of my 10% stake," Nathan explained, his nose running and tears flowing. This time, he suffered heavy losses from having his stake stolen.
"What? Say that again?" Norman's heart felt as if it had been struck by a heavy hammer when he heard that his son's stake had been stolen. He felt incredibly distressed.
"Kayla conspired with an outsider to take away my stake, and she even claimed it was rightfully hers. She even had someone beat up our security personnel. She even tried to push me down from the third floor. She's truly ruthless," Nathan exaggerated the whole ordeal, portraying Kayla as utterly unforgivable.
Upon hearing this, Norman's face turned pale. He couldn't believe that Kayla would commit such a heinous act. Immediately, he took out his phone and tried calling Kayla, but it kept showing that her phone was turned off, making him even more furious.
"Kayla seems to be thinking of flying away from the Garcia family! I'll see just how far she can fly!"
Upon hearing this, Nathan secretly rejoiced. It seemed that Kayla had really angered Dad this time. With Dad taking action, Kayla shouldn't even dream of having a good life.
Later that night; William supported the drunken Kayla and Fiona as they exited the Begonia Bar and got straight into their car.
Kayla drowned her sorrows with alcohol and got herself drunk, while Fiona joined her. The two women were still clinging to each other and dancing in the bar, making William feel incredibly embarrassed.
"William, you rotten scoundrel! You always make me do this and that. I hate you so much. I'm a Miss from the Turner family, but in your eyes, I've become a maid," Fiona slurred in the car, intoxicated, venting her frustrations about William.
William turned his head and glanced at the drunken Fiona, giving a bitter smile. It seemed that she still held resentment towards him.
On the other hand, Kayla was half-lying on the back seat, even though she was drunk, she frowned, looking burdened with worries.
As William was driving towards Ring Villa, the two girls started feeling the alcohol churning in their stomachs, giving them a sensation of motion sickness. Unable to get out of the car in time, they started vomiting, and one after another, it became more and more.
The car was instantly filled with a nauseating and pungent smell of alcohol, and both of them were covered in vomit, which made William feel disgusted.
"These two... I really can't believe it." William covered his nose and quickly parked the car, unable to clean it immediately. Instead, he helped the two women out of the car, supporting them one by one.
The whole ordeal was quite unpleasant as both ladies were covered in vomit. William had to hold his nose and try help them into the villa.
"They are both so dirty. They cannot fall sleep on the bed like this." William glanced at the vomit on their clothes and felt a bit helpless.
"Forget it, let's change their clothes first." Thinking of this, he didn't care about any impropriety between men and women. William carefully undressed Fiona, who fortunately, was so intoxicated that she didn't seem to be bothered at all by William's actions.
Although William felt a bit dry in his mouth, he managed to hold back his desires and successfully changed Fiona's clothes. Unable to find Fiona's clothes, William ended up giving her his own shirt.
As for Kayla, William also gently changed her clothes, but while doing so, he almost had a nosebleed. Kayla had a great figure, and they were in such close proximity.
Fortunately, William remained composed enough and had no impure thoughts about her, allowing him to successfully change Kayla into another one of his shirts.
However, the two women looked even more alluring in his white shirt, with their fair, enticing thighs exposed, leaving William speechless.
"Let me just carry them to bed!" William took a deep breath and calmed himself down, then carried the two of them to bed, one by one.
After finishing all of this, William was exhausted and thought to himself; ‘I am already tired and sweating profusely. I will take a shower before going to sleep on the sofa.
The next day, he was awakened by a deafening scream, followed by hurried footsteps coming from upstairs. Fiona, wearing slippers and a face full of embarrassment, ran downstairs to find William. Her face was flushed red with embarrassment and anger.
"William, wake up! What did you do to me last night?"
Fiona forcefully shook William awake, who still had a sleepy look on his face.
"I didn't do anything to you," William opened his eyes and saw that Fiona had run downstairs wearing just his shirt. Her bare, fair thighs were exposed, which instantly woke him up.
"Stop staring!" Fiona grabbed a pillow from the sofa and covered her legs, her face filled with embarrassment, yet she still looked adorable when angry.
"You two vomited all over my car last night, and I didn't blame you. I kindly helped you change clothes, and now you come to settle the score with me," William replied calmly.
"You, you took advantage of me," Fiona pouted, her expression full of anger. With her family background, she had countless pursuers, yet she was seen completely naked by this despicable poor man, which filled her with an indescribable sense of embarrassment and anger.
"If that's how you see it, then I can't do anything about it. I did take advantage of you. So what? I also know that you have a birthmark on your butt and a mole on your chest," William said with a smile, enjoying the sight of Fiona being both embarrassed and helpless, feeling an indescribable sense of satisfaction.
"William, you shameless rogue!" Upon hearing William reveal her intimate secrets, Fiona felt both embarrassed and angry, but it was clear that she couldn't do anything to William.
"Fiona, you should go back. You can't win against him," Kayla yawned and came downstairs. After a night's sleep, she looked noticeably better, but her face was slightly flushed. It seemed that she also knew what happened last night.
"You rogue, scoundrel," Fiona scolded William angrily and then in her embarrassed state, ran upstairs to change clothes as she blushed profusely the entire time.
Still wearing William's shirt, Kayla sat down next to him, touched her hair, and with slightly parted red lips, she said, "You had a good feast for the eyes last night, didn't you?"
"Are you hungry? I'll make breakfast for you," William felt somewhat awkward and wanted to find an excuse to leave. Facing Kayla, he couldn't sit still; she was too captivating. But as he got up, Kayla grabbed his arm.
"William, you promised to take me in. Don't go back on your word!" In her watery eyes, there was a hint of longing. She didn't mind being seen by William, but she cared a lot about what he said to her yesterday.
Kayla had almost convinced herself that she would be taken in by the Garcia family.
The family left the house, and she believed that the best destination for her was to follow William.
"Don't worry, I won't let you starve!" William said with a smile.
"Oh yeah? Then I want a prawn sandwich with tartar sauce, a cappuccino, and French mushroom soup," Kayla said with a hint of coquetry, now more confident that William wouldn't go back on his word.
"Well, you'll have to wait a bit. I'll make the prawn sandwich with tartar sauce, and I need to buy some vegetables outside," William said, rolling up his sleeves and heading to the kitchen to cook.
Kayla smiled and curled up her legs on the sofa, casually grabbing the blanket that William had covered her with. She watched as William busied himself in the kitchen, and a warm feeling inexplicably emerged in her heart.
In fact, this simple and ordinary life is not bad at all!
But when she thought about William having a girlfriend and her mother's dying wish, Kayla sighed inwardly.
Then she noticed her phone on the table, picked it up, and turned it on. She had turned it off before because she didn't want to face her father's questions, but now she found she had no choice but to confront them.
As soon as the phone turned on, she received several missed call notifications. Many people had called her, including Norman.
Kayla wondered if she should call back. Just as she was contemplating, a call came in, displaying Mr. Willot's name.
"This guy just won't give up on me," Kayla hung up the call directly.
However, Mr. Willot called again, and Kayla hung up once more. This happened several times, but Mr. Willot persistently called back, eventually forcing Kayla to answer.
She planned to scold him over the phone, but what Mr. Willot said left Kayla dumbfounded!
"Kayla, I was wrong yesterday, and I apologize! Can you help me sign that contract? I'll accept a higher offer, as long as we can sign the contract."
Kayla was baffled by Mr. Willot's humble tone. Yesterday it was her who begged Mr. Willot to sign the contract, why was he begging her to sign it now? And why was he being so subservient?
