Chapter 105 The Situation Reverses
The night was dark, and the wind was strong. William lay in the tent without any hurry to go out.
"Let Jack and the others experience more cold wind halfway up the mountain!" William wasn't very nervous. Instead, he felt a playful mood.
Meanwhile, Jack, who was squatting not far outside William's tent, was feeling anxious. He even sneezed because of the cold wind blowing through the mountains.
Rubbing his nose with his hand, Jack knew he might catch a cold if he stayed here any longer.
"Are you okay?" Louis stood next to him, pretending to care.
"I'm fine. Catching William is the priority. Once he comes out, we'll go up and finish him off," Jack reminded him again. They finally had a chance to get revenge on William, and he was excited. He didn't care about catching a cold.
Two or three more hours passed, and William checked the time. It was almost one in the morning.
"It's time to lure them out!" William's lips curled into a slight smile. He then walked out of the tent, pretending to go and urinate in a certain direction.
Jack, hiding in the bushes, saw that William finally came out of the tent, and he was delighted.
"He finally came out. It's my chance for revenge." Jack watched as William approached them. He was so excited!
"Guys, surround William," Jack immediately shouted to Louis next to him when he saw that William was less than five meters away from them.
As soon as the words fell, Louis quickly led the men and surrounded William. In less than two minutes, they had surrounded him with more than twenty people, leaving him with no chance to escape.
"Haha. William, you've finally fallen into my hands!" Jack laughed loudly as he jumped out of the bushes, his eyes filled with a triumphant look.
"Jack, what are you doing here in the middle of the night?" William asked knowingly, his expression calm and without a hint of panic.
"What am I doing here? Of course, I'm here to get rid of you. I've been tolerating you for so long, and today I have finally found the opportunity for revenge. Louis, finish him for me," Jack yelled, instructing Louis with excitement in his heart.
However, Louis remained motionless. Jack thought that Louis hadn't heard him clearly, so he shouted again, "Louis, go and finish off William for me. This is what Julian entrusted us with."
"Who do you think you are, daring to give me orders?" Louis finally dropped the pretense and directly slapped Jack's face, looking wicked and ferocious.
Jack was stunned for a moment. What's going on? Although he was slapped by Louis, he still suppressed the anger in his heart and spoke kindly, "Let's quickly follow Julian's instructions!"
Louis slapped him again, swelling half of Jack's face.
"Louis, are you crazy? Julian told us to hit William, why are you hitting me?" Jack panicked and feared, realizing that the twenty-plus people here were all Louis's men, and he couldn't resist even if he wanted to.
"I'm hitting you! Guys, finish this fool for me," Louis commanded, and the twenty-plus people immediately rushed forward, beating Jack half to death.
"Stop!" At this critical moment, William shouted.
The moment his words fell, Louis's men stopped as well. Jack, who was lying on the ground clutching his head, was covered in injuries.
"Jack, your attempt to frame me has failed." William smirked slightly, then led Louis and the others down the mountain.
William didn't want to do anything to Jack. He was just a lackey by Julian's side, with no assets to his name. Teaching him a lesson was enough; the real target was Julian.
At the foot of the mountain, Julian sneaked around with two of Louis's subordinates and arrived at the van where Sophia was sleeping.
Julian tried to open the car door with his hand but found it tightly shut. He immediately shouted harshly at the two subordinates who followed him.
"Force open the car door for me! Quickly." Julian had become impatient. The thought of raping Sophia made his excited heart almost burst.
"Yes!" The two subordinates each held an iron rod in their hands and glanced at each other before taking a step back simultaneously, instead of prying open the car door.
"What are you doing? Why are you just standing there? Break open the car door!" Julian became impatient as his subordinates did not listen to him at all.
However, the two subordinates still didn't move.
The van's door, on the other hand, opened by itself. Before Julian could get excited, a figure jumped directly in front of him, then stretched out their hand and grabbed Julian by the neck.
"You're quite slow to arrive. I was almost falling asleep waiting for you," Sharon said with a yawn. She casually closed the car door. Kylie and Sophia inside had no idea that Julian would attack them tonight.
William, in order to let them sleep peacefully, hadn't told them the truth and had just sent Sharon to protect them.
"Who are you?" Julian felt an ominous premonition rising within him.
"I'll finish you off," Sharon said, delivering a slap that once again reddened Julian's just-recovered handsome face.
"Bitch! How dare you hit me! Do you know who I am? I am from the Walsh family in Canada. You'll die a miserable death if you mess with me!" Julian shouted hysterically.
"Is that so?" A familiar voice came from the darkness not far away, accompanied by the sound of many chaotic footsteps.
Hearing this, Julian's pupils contracted. He was all too familiar with this voice—it was William. But at this time, wasn't he incapacitated by Louis and Jack? Why was he here?
Julian was shocked.
William finally emerged from the darkness with Louis, followed closely by over twenty people, creating an imposing presence.
"Louis, you took my money but failed in rebellion." Julian wasn't foolish. He would truly be a fool if he couldn't see the situation at hand.
"Apologies, I've always been Mr. Brown's man. It's you who willingly walked into the trap, so I can only go along with your foolish plan." Louis disdainfully glanced at Julian.
"What? How is this possible?" Julian was inexplicably shocked. He thought his plan was perfect, but who would have thought that everything he had done was seen through by others. In other words, he had been played these past few days.
"How is this possible? I've actually been played..." Julian's pupils dimmed momentarily. His so-called confidence shattered in that moment.
While he was in self-doubt, Louis had already commanded his subordinates to quietly surround Julian.
"Julian, I heard you have a lot of assets under your name, is that right?" William saw him being surrounded by Louis's people and knew that the time had finally come for him to make a move.
"Why do my assets matter to you?" Julian didn't fully understand William's intentions at this moment and responded stubbornly, unwilling to admit defeat.
"If you don't want to end up as a waste here, it's best for you to help me sign these stock transfer agreements," William spoke while Sharon timely took out several documents from her body and handed them to Julian.
"What? Stock transfer agreements? Are you kidding me?" Julian didn't even bother to look at them. He simply threw the documents to the ground dismissively. This poor man must have lost his mind; he actually thought he could obtain Julian's assets using such a method. What a joke!
"It seems you still haven't fully understood the current situation, or maybe you don't believe that I would really ruin you. Fine, I'll show you what I'm capable of. Sharon!" William's gaze turned icy.
Without hesitation, Sharon directly moved to break Julian's arm. With a sharp snap, Julian's arm seemed to lose all its strength, hanging limply by his side. Instantly, Julian's face turned pale with pain as he cried out.
"I will give you five seconds to consider. If you don't sign, I will have someone break the 'third leg' beneath you, making you permanently impotent!" William coldly sneered.
"William, aren't you afraid of offending the Walsh family?" Julian wanted to make a final attempt, trying to use the influence of his family to threaten William into submission. However, William seemed to completely disregard him, not even considering the Walsh family.
"Five!" William continued his countdown.
"Four!"
"Three!"
"Two!" When it reached this point, William took out a small knife that glinted with a chilling light under the moon's reflection. It was terrifying.
Julian found himself in a final mental struggle. If he lost all his assets under his name, what qualifications would he have to mingle in the circle of aristocracy?
Losing these assets overnight would surely provoke the wrath of his family, but compared to being emasculated into a worthless person, losing some assets meant little. As long as the green hills remained, there would be no shortage of firewood to burn.
"One!" Just as William finished counting, Julian seemed to have made up his mind and shouted defiantly.
"I'll sign it, William. You're ruthless!" Julian endured the pain in his arm and picked up the pen with his other hand to sign all the transfer agreements on the ground. These assets were worth at least fifty billion dollars in total.
Julian lost all his assets overnight, and all at once, he collapsed completely on the ground.
