Chapter 301 Severely Injured
This situation was evidently more serious than the previous ones. The opposing side had sent a master-level expert to assassinate them, and not only were they targeting Sophia, but William as well. Fortunately, after William changed back to his poor identity, they shouldn't recognize him. Otherwise, they wouldn't have waited for him to appear as Mr. Brown before the assassin made a move.
"It seems we'll have to be more careful from now on. These people are clearly persistent," William frowned, realizing that the power struggle among the Canadian elites was affecting innocent people as well.
William inwardly sighed and turned to Sophia. "Let's go indoors! It's too risky outside and we might get exposed."
William planned to move Sophia and the others indoors.
For them, this is relatively safer.
"I'll follow your arrangement!" Sophia had no other choice but to rely on William.
The commotion alarmed others on the scene, but with Antony and Ralph's arrangements, the noise was quickly suppressed, and they began signing the agreement for these corporate bigwigs to join the WE ARE Chamber.
With their participation, the influence of WE ARE Chamber in Long Island would greatly increase.
As William protected Sophia and led her indoors, Sharon and Baca closely guarded them, while nearly fifty security personnel and bodyguards protected the perimeter. With such thorough protection, it seemed unlikely that the assassin would dare to approach easily.
Halfway through, a middle-aged man wearing a security uniform rushed over in a hurry, shouting at the security guards surrounding William.
"The assassin ran to the northeast. Boss Jones asked me to take half of you to pursue. Follow me quickly."
Saying that, the middle-aged security guard waved his hand and ran in a certain direction. The guards hesitated for a moment, then half of them followed the security personnel and ran after him.
William glanced at the security guard who delivered the message, thinking that Antony and the others really found the assassin's trail, so he didn't pay much attention.
However, after the middle-aged security guard led the group away, he quickly disappeared and reappeared among the remaining security guards.

"It really was a disguise." William was secretly amazed. Although he saw through the fact that the security guard was an assassin in disguise, he had very little energy left and was no match for the assassin. Nevertheless, he stepped forward to block Sophia.
"With me here, you won't touch Sophia." William mustered the remaining energy in his body and threw a punch at the assassin.
This time, he didn't release his superpower, despite the eruption of the Inch Punch. It was still not enough for a superpower release.
"You think you can stop me? You're dead wrong." The assassin threw a punch, and a fierce surge of superpower erupted once again. The collision of fists caused William to be directly blasted away, with his internal organs suffering damage from the superpower.
He flew far and landed on the ground, spitting out a mouthful of blood.
"The fortune teller's prediction was accurate indeed, seeing blood." William looked at the blood in his mouth and couldn't help but force a bitter smile. At this moment, he felt his blood boiling, making him extremely uncomfortable.
Meanwhile, Sophia saw William being punched by the assassin and was scared, quickly rushing over.
"William, William, are you okay?"
All of this happened within moments of electrifying anger. The security guards reacted and started attacking the assassin.
"Just because you trash dare to block me?" As soon as the words fell, the assassin once again demonstrated his master-level strength.

"Sophia, someone wants your life. Don't blame me when you die." After shouting these words, the assassin rushed towards Sophia again.
Seeing this, Sharon and Baca risked their lives and tried to stop him, but they were also sent flying by his fists and kicks. His strength was terrifying.
"Die!" The assassin said as he punched towards Sophia, who was already too frightened to move, her face filled with terror.
Is she really going to die? A feeling of despair surged within Sophia's heart, as if she saw the Grim Reaper approaching.
But just as she was despairing and waiting for death, William took out a Blood Stab from his pocket and desperately threw himself towards Sophia.
When the assassin's fist was about to hit William, he threw the Blood Stab at the assassin. The Blood Stab was coated with a paralyzing neurotoxin.
The assassin's fist directly struck William, and in the next second, the Blood Stab also hit the assassin.
William was once again blasted away by a tremendous force and superpower, while the assassin's face changed drastically as he was struck by the Blood Stab.
"This is a Blood Stab? Poisonous!" The assassin removed the Blood Stab and activated his superpower, trying to expel the poisoned blood from his wound. The previously tricked security guards returned quickly, assessing the situation.
Seeing the assassin trying to remove the poisoned blood, they all rushed forward in an attempt to surround him. After briefly dealing with his wound, the assassin turned and fled shouting; "You're lucky this time, but next time won't be as fortunate."
He headed straight for the outside of Willow Villa. This time, he chose not to lurk and instead found a place to detoxify himself.
The assassin left, but William was lying on the ground, coughing up blood from the beating. That punch he just took almost fully bore the power of a master-level fighter, leaving his head dizzy.
Sophia hurriedly ran over, sat down on the ground, and held William in her arms, tears streaming down her face.
"William, don't scare me, wake up. What should I do?"

A large group of people heard the commotion and had arrived. Upon seeing William in such a state, Antony and Ralph felt a chilling sensation enveloping them, almost collapsing on the spot.
"Go find a doctor! Get the best doctor no matter the cost, we have to save him! Hurry!" they shouted almost ferociously.
