Chapter 399 Decisive Victory
Once again William succeeded in shocking everyone present as his strength grew right before their eyes.
Neil was trembling with excitement, his eyes filled with an incredulous expression. He was completely amazed by William's strength.
"It's terrifying," Neil said in shock as he looked up at William on the arena. "William's potential is really terrifying; his superpower has at least tripled in strength!"
Beside him, stood a stunned Delilah. William's strength completely exceeded her imagination.
"How did William suddenly become so strong?" Delilah wondered, her voice reflecting the awe shared by all martial arts enthusiasts who hold strength in high regard.
The one most shocked on the scene was Urbano.
Initially, he was sure to win this challenge, but unexpectedly, William suddenly became stronger, leaving him at a loss.
"Has this person unlocked his potential? This is too terrifying," Urbano thought, his desire to kill William intensifying as a black longsword appeared in his hand. "If given a few more years, he could probably wipe out the entire Das Guild alone. This person must not be spared."
"Come, let me see your true strength!" Urbano bellowed, vanishing from his original position. In the next moment, he reappeared in front of William.
His speed was so extreme that not even Neil could track his movements.
However, in William's eyes, it was all clear.
"Clang." The black iron longsword collided with the Dragontooth Sword.
"Your strength is just like this," William said, his mouth twitching slightly after the collision. With intense speed and force, he kicked Urbano.
The latter's pupils shrunk because the speed was too fast. He had just intended to make a defensive move, but William kicked him up into the air.
"Dragontooth Sword, go!" Taking advantage of the old monster's inability to maneuver in mid-air, William commanded the Dragontooth Sword, sending it like lightning towards him.
A piercing sound of slicing through the air was heard as the Dragontooth Sword struck Urbano accurately, only to be deflected by the longsword in his hand. The Dragontooth Sword only grazed the skin on his chest, causing no significant harm.
While batting away the Dragontooth Sword with his longsword, Urbano quickly descended to the ground. He supported himself with both hands on the ground and leaped to the other side, swiftly steadying himself, not giving William another chance to ambush him.
Urbano panted heavily, his face pale.
The confrontation in mid-air had been extremely dangerous. Fortunately, he managed to deflect the Dragontooth Sword with his black iron longsword; otherwise, it would have pierced his chest.
Yet, even so, his clothes were torn by the Dragontooth Sword, leaving a mark on his chest, and blood began to flow from the wound.
This showdown renewed the hope of victory for the Flood Boxing Guild, especially for Neil, whose eyes were filled with excitement.
"This is great. With William's current strength, he seems to have surpassed this old monster. I didn't expect this challenge to have such twists and turns, like a roller coaster ride." Neil was immensely thrilled, never expecting this challenge to be so unpredictable.
Meanwhile, the people from Das Guild were filled with astonishment.
"This person is too powerful."
"Too insane!" Santiago, with his severed arm, and pale face his fear on full display.
Even Urbano realized the threat to him and had to treat the situation seriously.
Seeing Urbano becoming cautious, William frowned. He knew that the enhanced medicine would only last for an hour. After the effect wore off, he would be completely exhausted and no match for Urbano.
The key to winning this challenge was to defeat the old monster within an hour. Even if the people from Das Guild wanted to challenge afterward, Flood Boxing Guild still had Neil who hadn't fought yet.
With Neil present, there wouldn't be any problems later on.
William stomped his feet and shouted loudly, then charged at the old monster like a bullet, with a tornado of superenergy swirling around him, resembling a hurricane.
One second, he was on the left side of the ring, the next second he appeared in front of Urbano.
As he approached, William swung the broken sword in his hand with all his strength towards Urbano, using the Inch Punch technique. So that the power of this strike was more than three times stronger than before.
Urbano tried to defend himself with the black iron longsword, but upon contact, he was astonished to find that the power of this strike exceeded the previous one. His heart started pounding rapidly.
"Die!" William added even more force, while Urbano still couldn't withstand this strike even with all his strength, and his Dragontooth Sword directly broke apart the black iron longsword in Urbano's hand. Then, with undiminished momentum, the strike hit Urbano squarely in the chest.
A ten-centimeter-deep wound appeared on Urbano's chest, and fresh red blood gushed out. Urbano clasped his chest, looking incredulous, then collapsed in a pool of blood.
The broken black iron longsword fell onto the ring, while Urbano, the 102-year-old old monster, lay in the pool of his blood, with only his last breath remaining.
"How...how is this possible? I actually lost to this person." Urbano's eyes were filled with disbelief.
William held his cold glare on him, as he raised his hand and struck down with the sword, finishing Urbano off for good.
The people below the ring were trembling with fear and shock. When they looked at William, he seemed like a demon.
Neil was equally speechless and shocked by William's terrifying strength. But deep down in his heart, he couldn't help but feel ecstatic. With the old monster dead, the remaining members of Das Guild were no match at all. This meant that Flood Boxing Guild was about to win this challenge.
"The people from Das Guild, you..."
"Let's go together! No more wasting time." Even though Urbano had already been killed, William's mind remained calm. He had to take down the remaining members of Das Guild within the remaining time to secure a complete victory.
Facing William's arrogance and provocation, the people of Das Guild were furious. However, the strength was there, and even if they attacked together, it would only be a suicide mission.
Although they knew this, Santiago knew that if he didn't make a final attempt, he would truly have no chance at all.
"Since he wants us to go together, then let's go together! Everyone, listen up, charge and kill him." Santiago knew that he had offended William and that William would never let him off. So instead of waiting for death, he might as well fight with all his might.
However, his words weren't of much use.
The students of Das Guild were terrified by the terrifying strength William had just displayed. Some students' legs were trembling, unable to move at all.
Seeing this, Santiago let out a desperate sigh. Das Guild's century-old reputation was going to be destroyed today!
