Chapter 320 They Have Arrived.
Ever since Beauvoir learned that Eliza possessed superhuman abilities, he immediately convinced her to become his student. Lillian couldn't have been happier.
In her eyes, she now had a cute and beautiful little sister. After losing her own family, she had always regarded Beauvoir and William as her family. Now, she had another sister, and the joy she felt was indescribable.
William could only laugh wryly and shake his head, silently agreeing.
In his mind, he was thinking about that book. After locking himself in his room, he began to focus on studying it.
"I wonder what the effect will be?"
He turned to the first page of the book and started practicing according to the methods written in it.
"Can I control the flow of the superpower within my body?" William was amazed, but he followed the instructions in the book and began to control it.
It was fortunate that he had tapped into his potential, allowing the superpower to flow smoothly within him.
At first, his lower abdomen felt empty. But as William intentionally channeled the superpower into his lower abdomen, he soon sensed warmth filling the area. With his legs crossed, he gradually reached a state of selflessness in his cultivation.
This was a miraculous phenomenon. Practicing in this state would yield the highest efficiency.
William guided the super energy into his abdomen, flowing through other parts of his body before forming a cycle back to his abdomen. To his surprise, he discovered that the super energy had increased slightly. This discovery both shocked and delighted William.
"It seems to be effective. If I follow the instructions and practice, the amount of super energy inside me will gradually increase, and my strength will grow stronger," William said excitedly.
Lost in his practice, William completely forgot about time, only waking up from his focused state when his stomach growled.
"That felt amazing." William stretched his muscles and heard a crackling sound from his body. He also felt a significant improvement in his mental and physical state, with a considerable increase in his super energy.
"Not bad at all. Just one day of practice, and my super energy has increased by ten percent. Truly incredible!" William was pleased with the speed of his cultivation.
After a rather large meal in the evening, William managed to fill his stomach, leaving Lillian and Beauvoir in awe.
"Did you eat too much today? You finished the entire table of dishes and ate ten bowls of rice. Aren't you full?" Lillian asked, her mouth gaping in shock.
"I'm fine! Not full at all!" William also found it strange. Why did he eat so much tonight? Normally, two or three bowls of rice would suffice, but this time, he had devoured ten bowls and a whole table of dishes. Could it be because of his cultivation of superpowers?
William contemplated and concluded that this must be the reason.
"You could join a food competition now," joked Eliza, sitting on a chair and blinking her watery eyes.
"That's true. Remember to invite me to the next competition," William joked back.
This made Eliza giggle.
With his stomach full, William returned to his room and continued his cultivation, shutting the door behind him.
Another night of practice resulted in a further ten percent growth in William's super energy. This cultivation speed was several times faster than increasing super energy through running exercises.
"If I persevere in practicing for a week, my super energy will double!" William was amazed by this cultivation speed.
However, this method had a drawback. It made him hungry. As soon as he opened his eyes, William felt his stomach rumbling.
"If this continues, I'll become a bottomless pit every day," William sighed and shook his head.
Just as he was about to go outside to find something to eat, he coincidentally ran into Sophia, who had come to find him.
"William, Malcolm arrived on Long Island today. Didn't you mention wanting to meet him last time?" Sophia asked anxiously.
"Malcolm is here? Then we must treat him well." William's lips curled into a cold smile. He suspected that Sophia's assassination attempt had been orchestrated by Malcolm.
The possible connection between the killer and Sophia's uncle made it essential to approach his son, Malcolm, as he must surely know something. Otherwise, he wouldn't have indirectly inquired about Sophia's whereabouts through Fiona.
"You should tell him to go directly to the Angle Hotel and say that you've arranged a feast for him there," William suggested, intending to test him first.
Meanwhile, Malcolm sat in a luxury car, enjoying the bustling scenery outside the window. He was accompanied by a calm and composed old man, who emitted a restrained aura and concealed a sharpness in his eyes. Undoubtedly, he was a martial arts expert.
"Although Long Island is not as prosperous as Canada, it is considered a first-tier city in the country. I wonder if there are any interesting places here," Malcolm thought as he looked at the flourishing scenery outside and his mind wandered to other matters.
"Sir, the Lord specifically instructed us to keep a low profile and prioritize the mission upon arrival in Long Island," the old man said earnestly.
"I know. With my cousin taking the bait herself, the mission will undoubtedly be accomplished. Besides, we still have a backup plan, right? There shouldn't be any problems," Malcolm leisurely replied, resting his hand behind his head with a relaxed expression.
"Sir, after a few attempts, we can be certain that Miss Sophia is definitely protected by a formidable person. Thus, it is best to be cautious," the old man reminded once again.
"So what if she is protected by an expert? Even if you personally intervene as a master bodyguard, you won't be able to protect Sophia," Malcolm completely disregarded the bodyguards around Sophia. He had come this time to take Sophia away.
As Malcolm was speaking, he suddenly received a text message on his phone from Sophia. Subconsciously, he browsed through it and then smirked.
"My cousin invited me to have a meal at the Angle Hotel. What do you think?" he asked.
"Since it's a dinner arranged by Miss Sophia, naturally, you should attend. Just stick to the plan, and if her bodyguard interferes, leave it to me," the old man said confidently.
"It seems we'll be able to complete the mission quickly this time," Malcolm smiled.
