Chapter 346 Otherwise, You Will Regret It
William drove to Euler Hill with Julia and Michelle.
Euler Hill was a famous tourist destination on Long Island. William had been there once before and didn't expect to go back so soon.
Michelle was excited in the car, looking forward to the vacation at Euler Hill. But Julia leaned her chin on her hand, staring out of the car window with a vacant expression.
"Julia, cheer up and don't be sad," Michelle comforted her, putting her arm around Julia's shoulder. Seeing Julia like this made Michelle feel uneasy as well.
"Michelle, this time, I don't want to go back." Julia seemed determined. Since her father forced her to marry Damian, then she would take a risk and go through with it.
"You...you want to run away from home?!" Michelle exclaimed, covering her mouth in shock.
"Yes, I don't want to marry that guy Damian. He's simply not a decent person. I've heard that he's not only lustful but also has a violent tendency. If I marry him, I'll have a miserable life," Julia said in a voice burdened with worry.
"Then where do you plan to go? The Denckman family is powerful on Long Island. Can you escape from their clutches? Besides, what about your parents if you leave?" Michelle expressed her concern.
Hearing this, Julia couldn't help but sigh helplessly. How could she resist the power of the Denckman family? She rested her head on the car window, wearing a look of despair.
Seeing Julia like this, Michelle also felt a wave of sadness.
She felt very uncomfortable, but there was nothing she could do. William, on the other hand, smiled and comforted them.
"Don't be too pessimistic. I heard that the Denckman family owes a lot of money and has many enemies. Someone is planning to take them down recently. Maybe by the time you come back from your vacation, the Denckman family will have gone bankrupt. Your father definitely won't let you marry into that family then."
"I hope so!" Julia didn't really believe that the Denckman family would go bankrupt within a month. She was a native of Long Island and knew that the Denckman family had been a strong presence there for a hundred years, not easily shaken by any ordinary family.
The car soon stopped at the foot of Euler Hill. Even though it was dusk, there were still many people around.
Michelle pulled Julia out of the car and was delighted to see so many amusement facilities. However, Julia, being a local of Long Island, had been to this place many times before, so the amusement rides here didn't bring her much excitement.
"These at the foot of the hill are just basic amusement rides. Let me show you the real roller coasters later." Julia's mood seemed to improve after arriving here.
"The real roller coasters?" Michelle and William were both puzzled.
"Yes, one of the most famous attractions at Euler Hill is the roller coaster. It has a very long track built around the mountain, and there's even a section that's built on the edge of a cliff. When you rush down from there, it feels like falling off a cliff. It's quite thrilling." Julia explained eloquently.
"Really? That sounds too dangerous. I don't dare to go on it." Michelle became scared. She was timid and wouldn't even dare to go on ordinary roller coasters, let alone one that drops off a cliff.
William smiled and interrupted, "Let's go book our rooms first. It's not easy to get rooms here."
Euler Hill is a tourist resort. Besides the amusement rides, there are a few famous resorts where visitors can directly stay and enjoy the surrounding mountains for relaxation.
Of course, the rooms William arranged were not ordinary vacation resorts. They were standalone villas located halfway up the mountain, complete with hot springs. Only those with a distinguished status and wealth can stay here.
The reason Julia and Michelle were arranged here was mainly because it was close to the Ocean Guild, which wouldn't hinder William's training while also providing them with protection.
"I've never stayed at Euler Hill before. I heard that the rooms here are expensive, and the ones halfway up the mountain are considered prestigious even for top millionaires." Julia gazed at the misty clouds halfway up the mountain, her eyes showing a longing expression for the first time.
"Let's go for a more affordable option."
"After all, we'll be staying here for a few days," Michelle said as she discreetly took out her bank card from her wallet and handed it to William, whispering softly.
"William, use my card when booking the room! My company recently gave me a bonus, and I have no use for it." Michelle was concerned that William's salary might not be enough, so she wanted to share the burden with him.
"I have money, you keep your bonus for yourself!" William was taken aback. He had infinite wealth himself, but he was surprised to be given money by his girlfriend. However, he was deeply touched to have a girlfriend who cared for him like this. He considered himself lucky.
"Just take it! The password is your birthday," Michelle said with a light smile before running off to find Julia.
Holding the bank card, William felt a wave of warmth in his heart. She was truly a good girl.
The group of them dragged their luggage and walked through the crowds, heading straight to the only hotel in Euler Hill. They made their reservations for dining, rooms, and even the resort all in this place.
When they arrived, the place was already overcrowded.
"There are so many people here. I wonder if there are any rooms left for tonight," Michelle said worriedly.
"With the timing of our arrival, I'm afraid we won't be able to book a room," Julia, familiar with the place, replied. It was evening, and most of the hotel rooms and resort cabins in the mountains should already be reserved.
As they were discussing the matter of booking a room, a frivolous voice suddenly came from behind them.
"Julia? What are you doing here?"
Upon hearing the voice, William and the others instinctively turned their heads and saw a young man who was quite fat, accompanied by several rich kids, standing behind them.
"Damian." Upon seeing him, Julia nervously hid behind Michelle. Regardless, she never expected this scumbag to appear here.
Not being able to help himself, William took a quick glance at Damian. He was fat and tall, with small eyes. He wore designer Armani clothes, and his watch was worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Based on his appearance, Damian was the epitome of a spoiled heir. Behind him were four wealthy kids, two boys and two girls, who were all dressed and styled remarkably.
"Julia, is this your friend? Introduce us," Damian said, seeing Julia hiding behind Michelle and shifting his gaze onto Michelle. Little did he expect that a single glance would mesmerize him.
She was stunningly beautiful, an absolute beauty! If he could have her along with Julia, it would be perfect. Thinking this, Damian couldn't help but feel excited.
Watching Damian staring Michelle up and down, William frowned and stepped forward, blocking Michelle's way.
In front of Michelle, with a rather chilling tone, she said, "I advise you not to have any ideas about them, or else you will regret it."
"Haha, who do you think you are? How dare you make arrogant remarks in front of me," Damian laughed and said, not paying any attention to William at all.
The four wealthy kids behind him joined in the mocking laughter.
