Chapter 127 An Extraordinary Woman
When Billy announced the last name, the wealthy elites who hadn't been chosen grew increasingly nervous.
However, William remained calm and indifferent. He didn't care about being selected. The title of one of the top ten outstanding youths meant nothing to him. Only Michelle and Noah were anxious for him.
"The final name is William Brown!" Billy suddenly announced.
"Fantastic! William, you made it!" Michelle was visibly excited and thrilled, even more so than William himself. Her face was filled with joy.
Noah was also happy, as she considered William a friend.
"Congratulations, William! But dinner tonight is on me. Don't you dare try to pay!" Noah promptly congratulated him, already thinking about thanking him for the five-million-dollar pearl necklace he had given her.
"Alright!" William nodded helplessly. He didn't want to show off like this, but it seemed inevitable now. He stood up and walked toward the stage, with many eyes in the audience fixating on him.
This young man, dressed in cheap clothes but unexpectedly wealthy, conquered everyone present. After this day, it was likely that all these privileged young elites would recognize William.
"Congratulations, Mr. Brown! Here's your certificate." Billy handed William a certificate personally signed by the mayor.
"Thank you!" William received it with both hands and expressed his gratitude.
The ten outstanding youths selected today were either wealthy or of noble birth. Under the applause of the crowd, they posed for photos.
After the photos were taken, William quickly returned.
"William, show me your certificate!" Michelle was delighted and couldn't wait to see William's certificate. It represented an honor; William's future would definitely be bright.

"Congratulations, William. I'm Kayla. Can I have dinner with you tonight?" Kayla, a beautiful woman wearing a sexy red off-the-shoulder dress, approached William to strike up a conversation. As she spoke, she intentionally leaned toward him.

William felt a bit awkward. It was the first time a beautiful woman had approached him on her own. Just as he was thinking about how to politely reject her, Michelle turned around.
"Sorry, Kayla, but William already has a girlfriend," Michelle said. She seemed to know this Kayla. She affectionately held onto William's arm, making it clear that William was hers and she shouldn't think otherwise.
"Michelle, you misunderstood. I just wanted to have a meal with William and get to know him better," Kayla said, throwing a seductive glance at William right in front of Michelle to provoke her.
"Not even a meal!" Michelle was clearly jealous, maybe even angry!
Saying that, she walked straight out while holding onto William's arm, afraid that if they stayed any longer, this woman would steal her William away!
"Michelle, wait for me!" Noah also hastily stood up from her seat and quickly followed!
"Michelle moves fast!" Kayla watched them walk away, a slight smile playing on her lips. She seemed a bit curious about this mysterious Mr. Brown who appeared suddenly. An individual who can produce $400 million to buy a ring at such a young age must have a background more complex than what he appears to be.
After William and the others entered the elevator, Michelle still held onto William's arm tightly, afraid that Kayla would snatch him away.
"Michelle, don't hold me so tightly!" William was a bit speechless. It was the first time he had seen Michelle jealous because of him.
Michelle calmed down her emotions and finally let go of his hand.
"William, I just realized that you're quite popular! You even caught Kayla's attention!" Noah suddenly teased, as if she also knew Kayla.
"You all know Kayla?" William was quite speechless. It seemed like he was the only one who didn't know her.
"She's a social butterfly among our generation! She has a wide circle of friends and is extremely sexy! Many rich heirs pursue her, but strangely enough, she has remained single all this time," Noah explained after some thought.
"Yes, it's better for you to keep your distance from her in the future!" Michelle added.
William nodded. It seemed that Kayla had some tricks up her sleeve!
"Where should we go for dinner tonight? You guys can decide. After all, it's my treat, so don't hold back!" Noah suddenly switched the topic and suggested.
"How about that newly opened Italian restaurant? I heard the ambiance there is nice!" Michelle suggested after thinking.
"That's a couples' restaurant. Are you asking me to go there?" Noah said somewhat speechlessly.
Michelle suddenly blushed, as if her thoughts were too obvious.
"Alright, let's go to the Italian restaurant!" Noah also wanted to experience this newly opened restaurant. It was rumored to be the most luxurious Italian restaurant. She had been wanting to go there for a long time.
William didn't mind, as long as both of them liked it.
The elevator went straight down to the underground parking lot. However, as soon as William came out, he became alert and felt like someone was waiting for them at the elevator entrance, as if they were being watched.
William frowned, it seemed like someone wanted to frame him!
Just to be safe, William sent a message to Antony, asking him to bring the security personnel from the Neon Grand Hotel to meet them at the underground parking lot and to report his own shirt color for easier identification.
After doing all this, William walked out of the elevator with Michelle and Noah. However, the two of them seemed oblivious to the danger and were still chatting and laughing.
William didn't want to make them anxious, so he didn't disclose the truth to them. But when William led them to a corner, a large group of people suddenly appeared in front of them, blocking their way. Ben was leading them.
"Ben, what do you want?" William smiled casually, subconsciously shielding Michelle and Noah behind him.
"What do you think? You think you can forget about what you did during the day so quickly?" Ben was full of arrogance. This time he had brought over twenty people to corner William and retaliate for the insult he received during the day.
"You think you're tough, huh? Come on, I have over twenty people here. They are more than enough to fight you!" Ben said, with a tone full of provocation.
"Only twenty people? I'm afraid that's not enough for me!" William wasn't afraid. On the contrary, he looked composed. But what he needed to do now was to buy time.
He had already sent a message to Antony. It wouldn't be long before the person in charge of the Neon Grand Hotel would bring security personnel. So, as long as he could stall until they arrived, William would win.
"You're quite arrogant!" Ben was about to signal his subordinates to attack, but he was interrupted by a sudden voice.
"Ben, can you let William go?"
This unexpected voice instantly drew the attention of everyone present, including William who instinctively looked over. He saw the seductive and exquisite figure, which made him furrow his brows.
