"Oh!" Delilah softly responded, her face reddening. She didn't dare look directly at William, but this situation reminded her of a technique Paisley had taught her.
After gently biting her lip and hesitating for a moment, she lightly wrapped her arms around William's neck.
William didn't mind and placed her on the bed. To his surprise, Delilah's arms were still wrapped around his neck and she wouldn't let go.
"Delilah, you didn't sleep well last night. Take a good rest now," William said with concern.
"William, can you stay and keep me company?" Delilah mustered up the courage to ask.
In the past, Delilah would never have dared to utter such openly suggestive words. But now, she confidently said them to William.
"First, let go of me, and then I'll answer if I can stay," William was caught off guard by Delilah's provocative words, and it caught him off guard.
"I won't let go. You promise to stay with me first, then I'll let go," Delilah replied with a hint of teasing, making William feel awkward.
