Chapter 308 The Incarnation of the Gambling God

The casino was spacious, filled with various gambling facilities.

Most of the people here were wealthy, and there were also many scantily clad, seductive women who moved around the prominent figures, profiting from a few tips they earned. Of course, they couldn't avoid being harassed, but they would just giggle and endure it. Sometimes, they even intentionally approached or pleased others in order to earn more tips.

As long as one could afford it, any of these beauties could be taken away.

William studied the entire casino layout for a few minutes before arriving at a spot where people were betting on dice games to guess the numbers.

"Let's try here first and see if I can hear the numbers," William thought. His gaze falling on the dice cup containing three dice.

The one shaking the dice cup was a young man wearing a blue vest.

The young man placed three dice into the dice cup and shook it vigorously, causing the dice inside to roll and collide with the cup, creating a distinct sound.

William listened attentively. With his enhanced abilities, his senses were extremely sharp, allowing him to hear every collision of the dice against the cup. However, since it was his first time hearing it, he wasn't certain which sound corresponded to each dice's number.

The young man slammed the dice cup onto the gambling table and loudly exclaimed to the onlookers, "Let the betting begin."

Soon, the gamblers started placing their bets with their chips.

"I bet big."

"Three consecutive big wins, it's impossible to keep winning. I'll bet small."

Various voices filled the air, with some even multiplying their bets by selecting three specific numbers like 123 or 236. If someone managed to win with these specific numbers, their winnings would be multiplied by sixteen, so they must have had an extraordinary stroke of luck.

Although it was difficult to win with these multipliers, some people still took a chance, although their bets weren't usually substantial.

"I have one chip left. I'll bet it all on 456."

"I'll go with 123!"

There were over a dozen people gathered around the gambling table, their eyes filled with anticipation. Among them were a few individuals who had won large sums of money. They had piles of chips in front of them, with beautiful women attending to their every need.

"Open it. It's 245, big," the young man declared, seeing that everyone had placed their bets.

"Ah, another big win. Four consecutive big wins, this is unbelievable."

"No way, another big win. We're finished, lost it all!"

"Big again? This is insane."

Many wore frustrated expressions, but of course, a few stubborn individuals who had bet big emerged as winners.

William nodded subtly and memorized the sounds of the dice he had just heard.

After the round was over, the young man started shaking the dice again, causing them to flip and tumble inside the cup before he pressed it firmly onto the gambling table.

"Place your bets, let the game begin," the young man called out, and the gamblers anxiously placed their bets once more.

"This time, I refuse to believe it will be big. I'm betting small."

"I'll stick with small!"

"I'll go with small too! Not risking any further."

Many people chose to bet on small this time, but as soon as the young man opened the cup, their faces turned pale.

"466, big."

Immediately, the chips in front of the gamblers were collected one by one. Even the faces of the two or three wealthy individuals darkened as they realized they hadn't won. However, they quickly regained their composure.

William stood by the gambling table, listening to over ten rounds in a row. In the end, he managed to distinguish and memorize the subtle sounds made by each dice as they landed in the cup.

"It's about time to give it a try," William whispered to himself.

William was about to make a move but was pushed by a group of gamblers who had lost money. They cursed and grumbled, saying, "Are you even playing? If you're not, get out of my way and stop blocking my luck."

"I am playing, of course. I have one thousand dollars here. I'll buy a hundred-dollar chip from you," William said, a slight smirk at the corner of his mouth. Instead of arguing with them, he wanted to try his luck quickly.

"A thousand dollars for one hundred-dollar chip??" The gambler's eyes lit up, immediately agreeing, "Deal, deal, I'll make the trade."

He handed William a hundred-dollar chip and took William's thousand dollars in return.

The surrounding gamblers couldn't help but shake their heads at the scene. "Trading a thousand dollars for a hundred-dollar chip, what a fool."

But William paid no attention to the judgment of others. He held the hundred-dollar chip, ready to make his move.

The young man began shaking the dice cup again, fiercely shaking the three dice inside. The dice cup quickly landed on the gambling table, and the three dice inside quickly settled.

"Start betting."

Another round of betting began, and William casually threw his hundred-dollar chip into the box marked 134 with a slight smirk on his face.

Other gamblers either bet on high or low, and those who bet on multiples randomly chose one to play with. Almost no one noticed that William bet on 134.

"Hurry up and roll, it must hit."

"Give me a small one."

Many gamblers began shouting and yelling, their eyes fixed on the dice cup.

"134, small," the young man said as soon as his words fell. This group of gamblers wailed in despair. However, one gambler seemed to have discovered a chip in the box marked 134.

"Someone hit the multiple."

"Who is it? How lucky! Hit sixteen times!"

"It's mine." William pointed to the young man and received the chips the guy owed him, one chip worth a thousand dollars and six one-hundred-dollar chips.

Suddenly, all the gamblers turned to look, realizing that it was the fool who had exchanged a thousand dollars for a hundred-dollar chip.

"Isn't this the idiot who traded a thousand for a hundred? How can he hit sixteen times? His luck is just unbelievable."

"Yeah, this is incredible."

The gambler who had exchanged chips with William earlier became even more frustrated because he believed that this chip was originally his, and this luck was supposed to be his as well. But now, he had personally thrown it away.

A smirk formed at the corner of William's mouth as he paid no attention to them and continued to place his bets.

The young man began shaking the dice cup again and pressed it onto the gambling table.

The gamblers quickly started betting again, while William directly placed his chip worth sixteen hundred dollars on the multiple box marked 455.

The gamblers were stunned.

"Is this a mistake? Is this idiot really stupid?"

"Ah, do you think good fortune will always favor you?"

"Yeah, yeah, I finally won 1,600, and this idiot went all-in. He really thought his luck was that good!"

These gamblers all thought William was foolish; the odds of hitting that multiplier were just too low. Hitting it once was lucky, but hitting it twice in a row was absolutely impossible.

Just as they were shaking their heads at William, the young man opened the dice cup again.

"Rolling, 455, big."

Upon hearing this, those gamblers couldn't believe their eyes as they looked at the three dice, and once they confirmed the numbers, they were completely shocked.

This idiot hit the multiplier of sixteen again. How incredibly lucky can someone be?
