Chapter 197 An Unprecedented Formidable Opponent
Early in the morning, William took Sharon, Aurora, and Hunter to go shopping for clothes on Temple Street.
Aurora and Hunter had just arrived from Brazil, and they usually wore martial arts uniforms, rarely having other clothes. But if they wanted to live in this city, they naturally needed to change their outfits.
"Since we're out here, don't call me Sir. Let's all address each other as cousins. Aurora, you'll be our little cousin, and Hunter, you'll be our cousin. Got it?" William didn't want to attract too much attention.
"Got it... William," Hunter reluctantly responded.
"Alright, understood!" Aurora, on the other hand, was more lively and nimble. Her adorable manner was quite endearing, and William couldn't help but pat her head.
"Well, when we enter the mall later, you can each choose whatever clothes you like, including Sharon. Pick whatever you like, and I'll foot the bill," William generously declared.
"Thank you, William," Aurora quickly adjusted. She had long been curious about the life outside Brazil and was now excited to experience it.
Aurora and Hunter were curious and interested in everything outside, always eager to try anything fun they saw.
"William, what's this? Why is that person wearing a helmet and shouting like that?" Aurora suddenly became interested in the VR virtual games in the mall, though she didn't know it was called VR.
"This is a VR virtual game. With that helmet on, you can experience a three-dimensional game," William explained earnestly.
"Do you want to play? After that person finishes, I'll let you have a go."
"Alright, alright!" Aurora clapped her hands in excitement.
Soon enough, Aurora was playing the VR virtual game. It was a game where you fought zombies. There was a LCD TV hanging on the wall behind Aurora that displayed her point of view.
The game started quickly, and the TV showed numerous zombies approaching Aurora.
"Use the gun quickly." William saw the zombies closing in and hurriedly reminded her, afraid that Aurora wouldn't know how to play. However, to William's surprise, Aurora didn't have a gun and instead performed a sidekick, kicking towards the zombies in the game.
Watching this, William was momentarily stunned. Even in a game, she relied on physical force to solve problems.
However, her kicks were useless. The game was designed so that only a gun could kill the zombies. Seeing that the zombies were immune to her kicks, Aurora increased the frequency and strength of her kicks. Then, a loud crash was heard.
She had kicked and shattered the LCD TV hanging on the wall. The force behind her kick was so great that it dented the wall, causing plaster and lime to fall off.
The staff and onlookers were wide-eyed and speechless.
"This girl is way too strong."
Aurora seemed to realize what she had kicked and promptly took off the virtual helmet.
Took it down and then saw the LCD TV on the wall and the wall kicked to pieces by her foot, and her face was a little scared.
"It's okay, it's okay, I'll take care of it." William couldn't help but comfort her a bit. Aurora's leg strength is really strong, not inferior to Sharon's.
William then communicated with the staff and compensated them for their loss. As for that money, William didn't care about it. As long as Aurora and the others had fun, that's all that mattered.
After this incident, Aurora became slightly more subdued.
Their little group strolled through the mall from morning till noon, buying a lot of things, mainly clothes and shoes. However, it seemed that the girls who practiced martial arts didn't like to buy dresses. Both Sharon and Aurora bought tight pants, but there were also some looser ones.
After shopping in the mall, William took them to indulge in a big meal and then have a good time. As evening approached, they returned to the car satisfied. However, in the underground parking garage of Temple Street, someone had been waiting for them.
Just as William was about to open the car door, he noticed a group of people standing beside him, surrounding them.
"William, you finally showed up. It's time to settle our account." Dorian came out from the crowd with a middle-aged man in a black trench coat. There were no fewer than thirty people around them, all security guards from the Watson family. They were brought here just to create an intimidating effect, but the real fighter was the man in the black coat next to Dorian. He was a bodyguard sent by his father to protect Dorian, rumored to be highly skilled.
"You must be Dorian!" After carefully looking at this person for a few moments, William finally recognized him. He had seen Dorian at the charity auction before and even competed with him for the Bulgari blue ring, so he had an impression of him.
"Not bad. Do you remember how you cheated my brother Julian out of four to five billion dollars in assets?" Dorian said through gritted teeth.
"I remember. Is it your turn this time to deliver assets to me?" William smirked. He had brought three experts with him today, so he had nothing to fear.
"How arrogant! I'll let you witness the power of the Walsh family soon." Dorian's face turned sinister, then he waved his hand and shouted, "Beat them to death!"
Dorian came all the way from Canada to New York, intending to take back the assets his brother lost from William. He originally wanted to rely on the Watson family to strike against the Power Group, making it easier to retrieve the lost assets. However, he didn't expect those people to be useless, getting easily defeated by Antony!
He had run out of patience and could only rely on himself to reclaim the four to five billion dollars in assets.
"Good timing," William said, smiling faintly.
Without waiting for William's instructions, Sharon, Hunter, and Aurora dropped what they were holding and fought back against the approaching security guards.
In an instant, punches and kicks were flying in all directions, and the first wave of security guards were knocked down within seconds. The ones coming from behind didn't fare any better and were quickly defeated.
William stood still, his companions preventing any of the thirty-plus guards from reaching him. It was evident that with Sharon, Hunter, and Aurora protecting him, William was incredibly safe.
Dorian, witnessing all this, was secretly amazed. He never imagined that these three individuals accompanying William would be so formidable!
"It's up to you now," Dorian reluctantly turned his head and looked at the middle-aged man in a black trench coat beside him named Ivan, a master of Taekwondo.
"Jiu-Jitsu, I've been wanting to experience it for myself," Ivan said, a glint of determination in his eyes. He gathered momentum and swiftly launched a flying kick towards Aurora.
Just as Aurora had just knocked down one of the guards and turned around, she was unable to dodge in time as his kick came at her with incredible speed.
Ivan's sudden kick struck Aurora directly, with immense force, sending her flying several meters away before she coughed repeatedly, lying on the ground.
"Aurora!" William exclaimed, rushing over to help her up, concerned. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, just a bit disoriented by his kick. He's skilled," Aurora said as she attempted to get up from the ground. However, Ivan raised his fist and launched a powerful blow towards William's back. It was fast, with a strong punch that could cause significant injury if it landed solidly.
William, with his back turned to Ivan, momentarily unaware of the impending attack, Sharon on the side saw the situation and panicked!!!
"Watch out!"
At this critical moment, Sharon didn't hesitate and quickly delivered a side kick to intercept his punch. The collision of the leg and fist caused both of them to take a few steps back, but Ivan quickly regained his balance and appeared relaxed.
However, Sharon's leg, after forcefully enduring the punch, trembled faintly, and her face turned pale.
"How is this possible? Even Sharon is no match for him," William noticed Sharon's trembling leg and understood the power behind that punch.
"You are not his match. Protect Sir, I'll handle this!" Hunter punched back several guards who approached him and assumed a Jiu-Jitsu stance in front of William.
"Interesting. It's quite a surprise to see three individuals skilled in martial arts protecting him. Unfortunately, you've encountered me!!" Ivan said, initiating a Taekwondo technique and advancing towards Hunter.
