Chapter 359 Where are You Trying to Escape?
Michelle and William plunged off the cliff in quick succession.
Ocean Guild was the peak of Euler Hill, with an altitude of at least one kilometer. FA fall from the cliff would be certain death.
"Michelle, I won't let you die!" As they fell, William harnessed his superpower to accelerate and reach for Michelle. He held her tight in his arms. She had closed her eyes in fear.
The two of them continued to fall, with only the whistling of the cold wind in their ears. In midair, ordinary people couldn't maneuver, but William, being a Silver Level master, used his superpower to change their falling direction and grabbed onto a tree trunk growing on the edge of the cliff.
"Finally!" With a point of support, William no longer had to worry about falling to his death. He instinctively glanced at Michelle, who was in his arms, and asked with concern, "Michelle, are you okay?"
Michelle, mustering her courage, opened her eyes.
"Why did you jump down to save me, William?!" Michelle, not wanting to be a burden to William... She had already resigned herself to certain death, but she didn't expect William to jump down with her. This made her feel both touched and resentful.
"I don't want you to die. You have to live because I want to marry you." William's gaze was very serious; he wanted to marry Michelle.
Before, he didn't have the strength and could only let fate decide. But now, since he had reached Silver Level, William felt that he had the power to control his own destiny.
Michelle was deeply moved. Her eyes were filled with tears. Having William by her side made her feel secure.
However, the wound on her thigh caused her pain.
William lowered his head and saw that Michelle's thigh was still bleeding. Her left thigh was drenched in blood, a gruesome sight.
"Just hold on. I will pull you up and bandage your wound." William used his strength to jump back up, landing on top of a pine tree. After stabilizing himself, he began to untie Michelle.
Then he tore his shirt and crouched down to bandage Michelle's wound.
"We'll have to climb up there. Hold onto me tightly. We'll use this rope to tie ourselves together." William looked up at the steep cliff. With his current strength, he could definitely climb up. However, if he used only one hand to climb, the efficiency would be much lower. That's why William came up with the idea. He would tie the two of them together so that he could exert force with both hands at the same time.
"Well, I didn't expect that the rope used to tie me would end up helping us."
Michelle stood behind William, hugged him tightly, and used the rope to bind their waists together.
"Michelle, hold onto me tightly and don't let go. I'm going to climb up," William reminded Michelle again, and she nodded in response.
"Yeah, be careful!" William focused and activated the superpower within him. Then he began climbing the cliff.
Meanwhile, at the back of Ocean Guild's Mountain
After pushing Michelle off the cliff, Ryan stopped retreating. The cliff was towering and steep. He thought even a Silver Level expert would be rendered useless if they fell from here.
"William, even if you are a Silver Level expert, what can you do?" Ryan felt satisfied, but at the same time, he had hidden worries. He wanted to make sure that William and Michelle had indeed died. So he sent several groups of The Earth members to search for their bodies at the foot of the mountain.
After all, seeing is believing!
However, those members of The Earth came back after a while, looking nervous.
"A large group of people are rushing up from the foot of the mountain!" Sawyer hurriedly ran over to report to Ryan.
"Why panic? Did you see who they are? Are they members of The Sky?" Ryan asked in a calm tone. In his opinion, the only ones who could rush up the mountain in large numbers were The Sky's people.
But Sawyer's reply surprised Ryan.
"They're not The Sky's people. It seems to be Ralph and Antony. They've brought a lot of people to attack us."
"Huh? Just two ordinary people leading a ragtag bunch? There's nothing to fear. We have more than two hundred people here. Go and kill them all," Ryan said coldly.
"That's what I thought too, but there are some individuals among them who possess real strength. Especially a hunchbacked old man. His power is unfathomable, and no one can withstand even a single move from him," Sawyer said fearfully.
"Oh? There's actually a master! Let me see him." Ryan didn't really care about this master. According to him, there was no such person as a hunchbacked master. That old man should just be a nobody.
Soon, Ryan arrived at the entrance of Ocean Guild, where he saw Beauvoir leading a group of students from the Jujitsu Dojo. The Sullivan family's private guards stood among them. The number of people there exceeded that of The Earth members.
"Who are you? Ocean Guild's restricted area is not a place you can trespass," Ryan said coldly.
"Release my student's girlfriend right now, or else I'll unleash mayhem." Beauvoir stepped forward and shouted boldly. He wasn't afraid of Ryan, as he didn't know the person's formidable nature.
After getting Oscar's message from Antony and Ralph, they immediately organized a group to come to Euler Hill and rescue Michelle. However, their first attack was repelled, and they couldn't even put up a fight. So, upon returning, Antony thought of finding Sharon and the students from the martial arts school. This was how Beauvoir and the others learned about William and Michelle's situation and hurriedly came to their rescue.
Upon hearing Beauvoir refer to William as his student, Ryan was suddenly taken aback. "Are you William's mentor?" Ryan blurted out.
"I am, and you better release Michelle immediately, or I'll bring Ocean Guild down," Beauvoir bragged. His confidence in his own strength grew after taking the pill that propelled him to the level of a grandmaster.
Ryan's forehead broke out in a cold sweat upon realizing that the person before him was William's mentor. William was already powerful, and his mentor must be even more formidable.
However, in a real fight, Beauvoir was no match for William.
Soon, a familiar voice came from behind Ryan.
"Ryan, today is your last day. Let's see where you can run!"
Upon hearing this familiar voice, Ryan's face turned pale.
