Chapter 129 Incident at the Construction Site
After dinner, Noah took the two of them to sing, celebrating William's selection. The three of them had a good time.
Late into the night, William brought Michelle home. She was very happy today. She even had a few drinks, and her face had turned rosy, which made her look even more beautiful.
As they got out of the car, Michelle's steps were a bit unsteady. William quickly supported her, and suddenly, Michelle's fragrance wafted into William's nostrils.
"William, how about staying at my house tonight? My parents aren't here," Michelle said softly with a blush. Whether it was due to alcohol or other reasons, she didn't know.
"Are your parents not at home?" William found it strange that her parents weren't at tonight, but Michelle, a young girl, saying this to him made his heart itch.
"My mom has to guard the construction site in the West district tonight, and my dad went with her because he was worried. So they won't be coming back tonight!" Michelle said with her head down.
"Is that so?" William suddenly remembered what Noad had mentioned in the morning. They had gone to find people from the relevant department to solve the theft of construction materials at the site tonight. "Let's go inside!" Michelle leaned on William's side, and with his assistance, they walked closely toward the villa.
They could hear each other's heartbeat. Michelle was too shy to look William in the eye, and William was nervous too.
Michelle opened the door. William supported her, and they walked in. There was no one inside the house. Indeed, her parents had gone out.
After closing the door, Michelle poured a glass of water for William and shyly said, "You can drink the water first. I want to take a shower."

Nervously, Michelle hurried to the bathroom, and soon the sound of rushing water came from the inside.
Listening to the sound of water, William's mind began to wander for no reason, but he quickly came to his senses when he remembered that he had a fiancée.
"I should drink some water to calm down." William quickly finished the glass of water in front of him and felt slightly relieved.
Half an hour later, Michelle, wearing a white towel, walked out of the bathroom with wet hair.
Seeing her, William was a bit stunned. There was a primal impulse inside him that he could hardly control.
"William, I'll go to my room to blow-dry my hair first. Why don't you freshen up too?" Michelle blushed, covering her chest with her hand, and quickly entered her own room with her head down.
"Oh... Okay." William nodded in a daze. He couldn't resist this temptation anymore. Just as he was about to submit to Michelle, she suddenly ran out of the room in a panic, her hair still wet.
"Oh no! William, my parents had an accident at the construction site. Take me to see them quickly," she said. She was about to run out like that. It was clear that Michelle was really anxious at this moment.
"Wait, don't panic. Go back to your room and change your clothes, I'll wait outside for you!" William's expression also changed. Something had happened at the construction site. The West district was Louis's territory, so it would be more convenient to find him later.
After hearing William's words, Michelle realized that she was only wrapped in a bath towel. She immediately turned around and hurried back to her room to change clothes.
While Michelle was changing clothes in her room, William called Louis, and after a few rings, the call connected.
"Louis, I have an urgent matter and need you to wake up and bring everyone to the construction site in the West district at Ron Real Estate," William wasted no time and directly asked him to bring people to the site.
"Alright, Mr. Brown. I'll arrange it right away!" Louis, who was still half asleep, knew something major had happened from William's tone, and without delay, he quickly got up to make arrangements.
Within five minutes, Michelle hastily put on a random dress and came out. She had no time to blow-dry her hair.
"William, please take me to the construction site quickly. I'm afraid it will be too late if we wait any longer!" Michelle's face was filled with anxiousness, and her eyes showed a hint of helplessness.
"Okay." William led Michelle into the car directly, and they headed straight to the Ron Real Estate development site.
Throughout the journey, Michelle was anxious, fearing for her parents' safety. William comforted her with kind words.
At the construction site of Ron Real Estate, a lot of people had gathered. Many of them were holding iron rods. They looked like thugs. Michelle's parents were among them, and Noad had blood stains on his face, indicating that he was injured.
"Where is Mr. Randall? Didn't he say he would come?" Katharine, both angry and anxious, questioned. Mr. Randall hadn't shown up, and her husband had been injured by those robbers.
Earlier in the morning, she had visited Mr. Randall personally to ask him to bring people and arrest those who had been stealing construction materials without permission.
For this, Katharine had even given him a red envelope with a hundred thousand dollars. At that time, Mr. Randall had agreed and said he would come with his men in the evening to make the arrests, so she planned to stay at the construction site tonight.
It would be convenient to capture the robbers with Mr. Randall's people when they arrived. However, she waited and waited, but Mr. Randall's people never showed up. Instead, a large group of robbers arrived, and without any warning, they attacked Noad and injured him. This left her feeling helpless.
"These robbers must have been instigated by someone. Who could you have offended?" Noad's head was bleeding, but his mind was still able to think.
"Who could I have possibly offended? I've worked tirelessly for this project. I was afraid of any issues arising. And now, someone is targeting me!" Katharine finally calmed down.
She felt that these thugs were likely acting under the instructions of certain individuals. Otherwise, how could they continue to harass her without being captured or driven away? The fact that even Mr. Randall was not intervening indicated that someone had instructed him.
"Why don't we go back for now? It's too dangerous here." Katharine's assistant came over to persuade her. There were about forty or fifty thugs across from them, and confronting them here would be futile. It was possible that they would be attacked again.
"Yes, let's go back! I've been hit on the head, and I think I might have a concussion." Noad covered the wound on his head with his hand and tried to convince Katharine to leave. He was also frightened by these thugs.
"No, I can't just watch as these people steal our construction materials." Katharine was furious. No one seemed to care about the stolen materials anymore.
At this moment, a Ferrari drove straight into the construction site. After William got out of the car, he quickly walked toward the crowd with Michelle.
"Dad, Mom, how are you both doing?" Michelle rushed over to her parents with concern in her eyes. When she saw her father Noad's bloodied head, her face turned pale. "Dad, you're bleeding! Let's go to the hospital!"
"Michelle, why did you come here!" Katharine and Noad had kept this from their daughter, fearing that she would worry, but she had still found out about the situation.
"I asked Michelle to come. Quickly persuade your mom. It's too dangerous here!" Katharine's assistant spoke up. He saw that Katharine wasn't listening to anyone's advice, so he thought of having her daughter Michelle come and persuade her.
"Mom, there are too many of them. Let's go back now! Dad is bleeding, we should go to the hospital!" Michelle was afraid that something would happen to her parents.
"Since you're here, take your dad to the hospital first. I'll stand here and see if anyone dares to touch the construction materials of my company today!" Katharine made up her mind. "Let me handle this, auntie!" William stepped forward, feeling that it was time for him to intervene.

"It was me, so what? Do you have the guts to hit me?" Suddenly, a brazen young man walked out from the gang, holding an iron rod.
"Good, I will disable you later." William's eyes turned cold. He wouldn't leave until he had dealt with this person, especially when Louis's men arrived!
"Come on then! Disable me now, you piece of trash! Guys, attack him!" This young man seemed to be the leader of the group. He waved his hand, and forty to fifty thugs behind him immediately surrounded William, each holding an iron rod.
Michelle's face turned pale in an instant, and Noad and Katharine were also frightened.
However, at this moment, a dozen vans suddenly drove into the construction site. The first van had a big guy coming out of it, followed by ten people getting out of each van, all carrying iron rods.
Nearly a hundred people marched toward William. The thugs were stunned when they saw this scene.
Noad, Katharine, and Michelle were even more terrified. Could these thugs provoke more people?! What should they do now!
