Chapter 166 Becoming Famous in One Battle

William wanted to see how skilled Baca was. If he truly knew martial arts and was not weak, William could consider recruiting him, which would increase their power in the North district.

Under the gaze of the onlookers, Baca leaped and effortlessly climbed onto the platform, something that ordinary boxers couldn't do. It was evident that Baca indeed knew martial arts.

The crowd couldn't help but cheer at his explosive strength.

On the platform, Baca and Sharon, the two boxers, were already in position. Immediately, the staff shouted loudly again.

"The Champion Baca versus female boxer Sharon. Betting is now open."

As soon as the words fell, the crowd almost swarmed to bet on Baca. In their eyes, Baca rarely lost, and although Sharon was also formidable, she was no match for Baca.

"I bet 500,000 US dollars on Baca."

"I bet 300,000 US dollars on Baca."

"I bet 1 million US dollars on Baca."

...

The voices kept coming, all betting on Baca, with only a few sporadic bets on Sharon, and those bets were small.

However, one voice broke through the commotion.

"I bet 1 billion US dollars on Sharon." William's mouth curled into a slight smile. At least there were great odds for him now.

More than a hundred people bet on Baca, with some wagering millions of dollars and others tens of thousands. Even Vincent placed a bet of ten million dollars on Baca, hoping to win back what he had just lost.

“I also bet on Sharon, $200,000,” Kayla followed William’s lead and placed her money on Sharon.

Their unconventional actions immediately caught the attention of the onlookers, especially when William bet one billion dollars. It was quite a substantial amount even for the underground fighting arena, and it sparked a flurry of discussions.

“Mr. Brown, are you sure about betting a billion dollars?” The staff couldn’t believe it and asked cautiously.

“Of course. Charge it to the card,” William took out the black gold card and handed it to the staff for payment and placing the bet.

“Very well, Mr. Brown.” When the staff actually processed the one billion dollar bet on the card, the spectators went wild as they looked at William.

Betting a billion dollars, the stakes were getting higher!

After placing all their bets, the match officially began.

Facing Baca, Sharon couldn't afford to be careless. From the leap he made onto the ring earlier, she sensed that Baca also knew martial arts and was not weak.

"You're the female fighter who defeated Gray Dragon, and they say you know martial arts?" Baca's voice was rough, fitting his muscular physique.

"Yes, so what?" Sharon coldly replied.

"Interesting. Which style did you learn?" Baca was quite curious. This was the first time he had seen a female fighter who was skilled in martial arts, so he couldn't help but ask a few more questions.

"You'll find out soon enough! Show me your moves!" Sharon responded, still cold and indifferent.

"Well, then I'll have a look." Baca clenched his fists, feigned a move in front of his eyes, and slowly approached Sharon.

Sharon naturally didn't dare to be lax and assumed a defensive posture, preparing to confront him.

The two cautiously approached each other, and when they were less than a meter apart, Baca threw the first punch with a fierce attack. There were faint sonic booms as his punches flew, indicating his incredible speed.

However, even though he was punching with such phenomenal speed, Sharon managed to dodge them; though not without difficulty.

"Your reflexes are not bad. You actually managed to dodge my punches at this speed!" Baca said, continuing to throw punches at Sharon. Each punch carried a hidden sonic boom, but Sharon sidestepped and dodged, not daring to engage in a direct confrontation.

"Come on, counterpunch! Why are you constantly dodging?" Baca kept throwing punches and attacking while verbally provoking Sharon, indicating that he still hadn't gone all out.

Frowning slightly, Sharon; after evading another round of attacks, suddenly turned around and kicked towards Baca with tremendous force. Baca subconsciously guarded himself by crossing his fists in front of his chest, but even so, Sharon's kick pushed him back several steps.

"What great power." Just as Baca was marveling at the incredible strength of Sharon; a woman, she swiftly attacked again, throwing punches in a peculiar stance.

After stabilizing himself, Baca swung a punch, confident that it would shatter the force of his opponent's fists. However, he was mistaken.

Sharon's technique was ever-changing, and she had no intention of engaging in a direct confrontation. Her fists slightly shifted along the way, barely grazing Baca's attack and landing directly on his chest.

"How is this possible?" Baca hadn't expected Sharon's techniques to change midway. His fists struck the air, while Sharon's punches landed directly on his chest, causing him to collapse onto the platform due to the tremendous force.

The onlookers were astounded by this turn of events, unable to believe their eyes.

"Baca was actually knocked down! Sharon is so powerful!"

"What incredible strength! She can even change techniques mid-attack. This fist technique is truly unbelievable."

"It seems Baca won't be able to defeat this female boxer unless he shows his true skill today."

The crowd beneath the platform engaged in a lively discussion. Vincent, too, was astonished by what he witnessed. Sharon's strength far exceeded his imagination.

"This female boxer is truly formidable. How did William find someone like her?" Vincent felt some jealousy. It was already difficult enough having Kayla, a goddess, by William's side. But to also have such a powerful female boxer following him was really making him envious.

The match continued, and Baca quickly regained his footing on the platform. A trace of fanaticism flashed in his eyes.

"I didn't expect you to use Jujutsu. Perfect! Let me show you my fist." Baca roared, and his veins bulged in a bizarre manner, appearing quite eerie.

However, Sharon's expression turned serious as she witnessed this.

"Roar!" Baca roared once again and charged at Sharon like a bullet, faster and with increased momentum compared to before.

"Take this punch!" Baca forcefully threw a punch at an extraordinary speed. Caught off guard, Sharon could only cross her arms in front of her chest in an attempt to block it. However, Baca's punch was simply too powerful.

With a thunderous crash, Sharon was sent flying, crashing into the ropes surrounding the platform. Fortunately, she quickly grabbed onto the ropes, or she would have been knocked out of the ring with just that one blow.

Witnessing this, the crowd erupted in excitement. Baca had finally unleashed his power!

William, however, furrowed his brow slightly. Baca's unexpected strength was impressive, especially this level of power. He wondered how he trained to reach such a level.

"Go, Sharon!" Kayla hurriedly jumped up and down, cheering for Sharon.

On the platform, seeing Sharon struggle to withstand his attack, Baca's eyes burned with determination.

The power of the mechanical force caused Baca to burst into laughter and then charged forward like a cannonball.

"Are you trying to defeat me with your little ability?" Sharon's eyes turned cold.

Facing Baca charging at her again like a cannonball, Sharon positioned her feet directly on the rope. Then, leveraging the rebound force of the rope, she shot towards Baca. When she was getting close, Sharon kicked in mid-air while spinning, simultaneously exerting all her strength and yelling.

Generally, Sharon didn't use her voice when attacking, but this time she had to reveal her true power.

With the force of the rebound, Sharon's kick was stronger than ever before.

Baca threw a punch that landed right on Sharon's foot.

The punches and kicks clashed in mid-air, producing a dull sound. Baca was pushed back several steps by the tremendous force, while Sharon flipped in the air and landed steadily.

"How is this possible? How did her strength suddenly increase?!" Baca had a look of disbelief. After Sharon landed, she lightly tapped her toes on the ground and swiftly moved towards him like a snake, twisting left and right.

"What kind of footwork is this?" Baca was once again shocked. He didn't know which direction to defend anymore because Sharon's mysterious footwork allowed her to attack from both sides.

Baca shouted once again, intending to confront her head-on.

However, Sharon continuously kicked multiple times, each time accompanied by a delicate yell.

Faced with the leg techniques raining down on him, Baca could only block left and support right, gradually falling into a disadvantaged position.

The crowd below the arena was once again amazed by Sharon's strength. They originally thought that Sharon's strength was nothing special, but they never expected this female boxer to suddenly unleash such tremendous power.

"This female boxer was holding back earlier."

"This is too terrifying. She keeps kicking relentlessly, and her strength is still so great. Even Baca can hardly defend himself against them!"

"She's so amazing, so amazing. She is the most formidable female boxer I have ever seen, easily ranking in the top three of the Black Boxing Arena's power rankings."

While they were talking, Baca, who had been defending for a long time, finally couldn't withstand Sharon's continuous assault. She kicked him strongly in the head, and the immense force sent Baca crashing onto the arena.

Baca's head suffered a huge impact from the force and slammed heavily on the competition platform, causing him to experience a momentary dizziness.

Seizing the opportunity while he was down, Sharon leaped up, intending to disable Baca's arm. With that, she would secure her victory in this match. However, at this moment, William suddenly stood up and called out to Sharon.

"Stop, Sharon!"

As soon as these words were spoken, they instantly caught the attention of everyone present. They couldn't understand what William was up to.

And Sharon, in an instant, stopping her movement, yet still maintained a stance ready to attack at any moment.

Baca climbed up from the arena unsteadily, his head still a bit dizzy, and there was even a buzzing sound in his ears, making his vision somewhat blurry. It was evident how powerful Sharon's kick had been just now.

"Baca, you lost," William said calmly to Baca on the platform. He aimed to subdue Baca, not cripple him.

These words fell into Baca's ears like an exploding bomb in his head.

"How could I possibly lose?" Baca roared in frustration, gripping the ropes at the edge of the platform.

"Do you want to become worthless?" William's words instantly sobered Baca up, making him recall the situation just now.

If it weren't for William suddenly speaking up to stop Sharon, Baca would have truly become disabled. Thinking about this, Baca broke out in a cold sweat.

He understood black boxing all too well. Once disabled, he would essentially have to quit his career in black boxing.

However, at this moment, Vincent couldn't accept it and angrily stepped forward, roaring, "Baca, come on! Damn it, if you're not dead, get up there and fight. I've invested ten million dollars in you. Get up there and fight for me!"

Baca shook his head, clearing his consciousness a bit. Although he was grateful to William for intervening to stop Sharon, he knew that when you take someone's money, you must settle their troubles.

"Come on. I haven't lost yet," Baca roared before charging at Sharon again. But her gaze turned cold, and she once again employed her leg technique along with a shout, pressing Baca tightly.

Her foot landed on his head again, causing Baca to fall to the ground once more. This time, William didn't speak up to stop her, and Sharon charged forward, stomping on Baca's arm, causing him to cry out in pain.

Baca struggled to get up, but Sharon directly stomped on one of his legs, rendering him unable to rise again after being deprived of his arms and legs.

The spectators watching were stunned, completely shocked by Sharon's terrifying strength. Baca, who ranked among the top three in the black boxing arena, was disabled by her. After this battle, it was likely that Sharon would become famous.

Vincent's expression was one of disbelief. His strongest boxer had actually lost, and he couldn't accept it at all.

"Baca, if you're not dead, stand up and fight for me. Damn it, get up!" Vincent resembled a gambler who had lost everything, his eyes bloodshot, desperately urging Baca to stand up and fight. However, the latter was already incapable of continuing the fight.

"Vincent, you lost," William approached him and said calmly.
