Magnus watched the Land Rover gradually disappear and made a call. "Hello, Mr. Christopher."
Christopher on the other end sounded surprised, "Mr. Blackwood? Why are you calling me all of a sudden?"
"I know Ronald is your foster son, but there are some things I think should be said first, otherwise, it might be embarrassing later."
"Ronald? Did he offend you, Mr. Blackwood?"
"I believe Ronald is not the right person to handle the cooperation projects with SY in Imperial Capital, he is reckless and mixes personal matters with business."
Christopher furrowed his brow, "I know Ronald well, he is prudent and doesn't mix personal matters with business. Mr. Blackwood, what exactly are you referring to?"
"He punched me three times and caused a slight fracture in my jaw."
"What?" Christopher was taken aback, "Why did you guys fight?"
"Over a woman."
Christopher found this all too absurd.
"Which woman?"
"Juniper, my ex-girlfriend and the mother of my child."
Taking a deep breath, Christopher hesitated, but due to the ongoing collaboration between the two conglomerates and Magnus's influential status, he couldn't afford to offend him.
Disrupting such a significant partnership over personal matters was clearly not the act of a competent businessman.
After pondering for a moment, Christopher said, "I will immediately ask Ronald to come back to Lindwood City. Ronald will bear the consequences for being rude to you. However, I hope that such personal affairs will not damage our business activities."
Magnus's lips curled slightly. "Of course, Christopher, you should understand that I always keep my personal and professional lives separate. As the head of Windwalk in Imperial Capital, I suggest assigning someone more stable to handle the situation.”
This was a form of pressure.
Having been in the business world for many years, Christopher, with his wealth of experience, could naturally discern Magnus's intentions.
He smiled and replied, "Mr. Blackwood's proposal will be taken into consideration. However, the personnel changes within Windsor Group are not something Mr. Blackwood needs to worry about."
"Christopher, you always instruct your subordinates well. I believe you understand the importance of this matter."
After some negotiation, Magnus hung up the phone, his dark eyes sharp, dominant, and determined to succeed.
He returned to his office.
Picking up a dart, he aimed for the bullseye, and with a forceful flick of his wrist, he hit the mark.
Ronald was just lucky to be taken in by someone as influential as Christopher.
If it weren't for Christopher's protection, a reckless man like him would have died long ago.
Ronald was no match for Magnus.

That night, Ronald received a call from Christopher.
"Ronald, come back to Lindwood City tomorrow morning."
Ronald furrowed his brow, "I need to handle the project with Imperial Capital.”
“Karen will take care of it. You need to come back tomorrow morning."
"Dad."
"I'm informing you, not asking for your opinion. Ronald, if you don't return, Magnus will target you. Imperial Capital is his territory, you will lose for sure."
"So Magnus called you? Did he mention that I punched him three times? He deserved it for how he treated Quinn. I regret not hitting him more!"
Christopher advised, "Leave it to Juniper and Magnus. That's their personal relationship, no matter what, you shouldn’t hit your business partners! Have you thought about it, if Magnus pursues this, not only will our business be ruined, but we'll also have to pay huge compensation to SY. No matter what, if you hit someone, you're in the wrong."
"But Magnus has gone too far!"

"Quinn, I have something to tell you."

He just said, "Quinn, I have to go back to Lindwood City early tomorrow morning."
"Why? Did Christopher ask you back?"
"Yes, a change in work. Do you want to go back with me?"
Renald didn't expect Magnus to threaten Christopher with work and force him to go back to Lindwood City.
"I can't go back temporarily, you know, I promised Jennifer to take her to the movies in a few days, I don't want to break that promise."
Ronald nodded, "I understand. If Magnus bullies you again, call me, I'll come back immediately."
"Okay, thank you, Ronald."
"By the way, can you drive me to the airport tomorrow so I don’t have to park my car at the airport?"
"Sure, I'll drive you tomorrow and bring your car back to the company."
Ronald said, "Don't you need a car? You can use mine It’ll be handy when you take Jennifer out."
Juniper nodded.

SY Group, CEO's office.
Joseph hurriedly pushed the door open, "Mr. Blackwood, I have some back news. You asked me to keep an eye on Ms. Beaumont, and just now they told me that Ms. Beaumont and Ronald are driving to the airport. Is Ms. Beaumont going back to Lindwood City with Ronald?”

"Send me to the airport."
Joseph grabbed the car keys and quickly followed.

On the other side, Juniper had just dropped Ronald off at the airport.

Joseph's palms were sweating.

He cautiously glanced at the man's expression.
Clearly, he was displeased.
‘Ms. Beaumont is in big trouble now.’
Just as Joseph silently prayed for Juniper, Magnus had already stridden over.
