Juniper was about to call Alice when Alice's call came in.
Alice asked, "Beaumont, do you really have a kid? Why didn't you tell me?"
Juniper apologized. "I overlooked it. Alice, can you help me get that photo taken down first?"
Alice pressed, "So, it's true you have a kid?"
Juniper admitted, "Yes."
Alice continued, "Do you really have a sugar daddy?"
Juniper was stunned, thinking, 'Does Magnus count? But he isn't my sugar daddy; he is a creditor.'
Just as she was about to explain, Alice continued, "What circle is your sugar daddy from? Even if you delete the photo, people will still talk. The more you avoid it, the more curious they get. I'll help you issue a statement later. You're not married, right?"
Juniper replied, "Not married."
But she did have a child.
Alice suddenly became curious. "So what about your sugar daddy? Does he have a wife?"
Juniper instinctively followed her lead. "He doesn't have a wife. I didn't break up anyone's family. No, I don't have a sugar daddy."
Alice said, "You really have a sugar daddy? Beaumont, I didn't see that coming. You hid it well. If you have a sugar daddy, you should have said so earlier. It's not a big deal in our circle. Who is he? Let me see if I know him."
Juniper was shocked. People in the entertainment industry really lived for the drama, didn't they? Even if the scandal involved their company's artist.
Juniper had to admire Alice's resilience. Things were so serious, yet she was still curious about who Juniper's sugar daddy was!
Juniper hung up with mixed feelings.
After washing up, she went downstairs.
Magnus and Jenny were sitting at the dining table.
Jenny saw Juniper and patted the chair next to her. "Mom, come sit and eat!"
Juniper sat down next to Jenny.
Jenny frowned and asked, "Mom, did you sleepwalk again last night? Why did you end up in Dad's room again?"
Last night, it probably wasn't her sleepwalking, but Magnus sleepwalking and carrying her over.
Just as Juniper was about to explain, Magnus spoke first.
He frowned and gave Jenny a cold look. "You can sleep with your stuffed animal. Why so many demands?"
Jenny licked some mashed potatoes and rolled her eyes at him. "Dad, how about I give you the stuffed animal, you sleep with it, and I sleep with Mom!"
Magnus snorted. "Stuffed animals are for kids like you."
Jenny pouted. "Kids need their moms. Dad, you're so old; why are you competing with a kid for Mom?"
Seeing Jenny genuinely upset, Magnus paused and then said, "You can sleep through anything with your stuffed animal, even thunder. I can't sleep without your mom."
Juniper was slightly stunned and instinctively looked at Magnus, unsure if he was just casually saying it or if he meant it.
She thought, 'If he can't sleep without me, how has Magnus managed this past year?'
Jenny was quite generous. "Alright then! Dad, do you need Mom to tell you a bedtime story too?"
He looked at Juniper and said in a flat tone, "I'm not as childish as you. But the story of 'The Little Tadpole Looking for Mom' isn't bad."
Juniper immediately understood his implication, though she wished she hadn't.
Magnus was talking nonsense with a straight face!
Jenny, with her big, innocent eyes, asked Juniper, "I've never heard that story. Mom, you're so biased, only telling Dad the fun stories and not me! I want to hear it too!"
Juniper was at a loss for words.
Magnus wore a playful smile, but his face turned serious. "Eat and stop pestering your mom with questions."
Jenny pouted and mumbled, "Tonight, I'll have Mom tell me the story of 'The Little Tadpole Looking for Mom.' If Dad could heard it, I want to hear it too!"
Magnus leaned back in his chair, relaxed, glancing at Juniper with extreme amusement.
Juniper's face turned red instantly.
At Maple Villa, Patricia was thrilled as she looked at the online slander against Beaumont.
In her mind, a two-faced bitch like Juniper deserved to be exposed and cyberbullied.

Mary was a well-known singer in the industry.
If Beaumont's news attracted Mary's irrational fans, Juniper would definitely be cursed!
