Chapter 372 Undying Love
On the other side of the mountain, the entire sky seemed like a sea of pink stars, dazzling to the extreme.
Fireworks continued to burst with loud noises, blooming magnificently.
Magnus knelt on one knee, and when he heard her say, "I need to think," he couldn't help but pause, then chuckled and asked, "Are three seconds enough?"
Juniper was so excited that she was at a loss, her mind suddenly going blank. "What?"
"I said, I'll give you three seconds to think. Do you want to marry me?"
"Three, two..."
Before he could count to one, Juniper suddenly interrupted him, "Magnus, I have something to say."
Magnus looked at her deeply, "Go ahead."
She took a deep breath, adjusted her breathing, and gradually calmed her turbulent emotions.
"I've decided to stay and work at Windsor Group. No matter what the future holds, for now, I'll most likely be staying in Southern City. Part of this decision is indeed because of you, but not entirely. I can't use 'because of you' as an excuse to make you keep compromising."
"I originally thought, let's wait until I can come to you on my own, then we can talk about whether we are willing to enter this marriage."
"Although my biological father is Christopher, I grew up in the Beaumont family, you know that. Alexander and Lyra's marriage was my first impression of marriage."
"So I don't desire marriage itself. But if it's with you, I would be willing to consider it."
"So in a sense, I've never thought about marrying anyone else. If I were to get married, it would definitely be to you."
"But I don't know how long this long-distance situation will last, and I don't know how much time and effort it will take for me to come to you step by step."
"Magnus, are you willing to wait for me?"
"If you are willing, then I am willing."
Juniper tried hard to suppress her intense emotions, but her cool voice had already gone slightly off-key, and by the end, her voice was choked with sobs.
Her voice wasn't loud, but it was very clear.
Even with the cold mountain wind in his ears, Magnus heard every word clearly.
He asked Juniper, "Is there anything else you want to say?"
"No."
Magnus said, "Give me your hand."
Juniper dazedly extended her left hand.
Magnus held the diamond ring and slowly slipped it onto her slender ring finger.
His voice was deep and slow, incredibly solemn, "Juniper, as long as it's you, I will always be willing."
In the sky, brilliant fireworks exploded again.
Illuminating his face.
Magnus stood up and said by her ear, "Juniper, Happy New Year."
Juniper was moved to tears.
At the moment when Magnus picked her up, Juniper hugged his neck, looked down at him, and didn't forget to say, "But you're still not scoring a full ninety points."
Magnus chuckled, "Then tell me, how many points does tonight's event add?"
Juniper counted, "The electronic fireworks add ten points, the M&J Star adds ten points, and the pink fireworks rain adds another ten points."
So, thirty points in one night.
Magnus reminded her, "Shouldn't the diamond ring add another ten points?"
Juniper then noticed the diamond ring on her ring finger, which was not the previous pink diamond.
She raised her hand and looked closely. This time it was a white diamond, larger than the previous pink diamond.
The ring on her slender finger was particularly eye-catching.
Juniper asked him, "The last pink diamond was called 'Eternal Bond,' what's this white diamond called?"
"Undying Love."
Magnus put her down, bent over, and kissed her lips.
In the dazzling fireworks, Magnus held the back of her head and kissed her deeply.
The mountain wind was cold, but their interlocked fingers brought warmth to their palms.
After celebrating the New Year at Sky Dome Mountain, they returned to the hotel.
Juniper repeatedly watched the proposal video and the pink fireworks rain that was captured.
Magnus hugged her from behind and kissed her cheek, "It's late, time to shower?"
Juniper wondered, "These pink fireworks can actually form words. Did you have someone design them?"
"Custom-made. Don't like it?"
Such dazzling fireworks, who wouldn't like them?
Juniper curiously asked, "These fireworks must be very expensive."
"Not as expensive as the diamond ring on your finger."
Leaving that sentence, Magnus turned and went to the bathroom to shower.
Juniper turned her head and asked, "How much is 'not very expensive'?"
His tone was light, "Five million dollars."
Juniper, marry me.
That sentence, five million dollars?
Luckily, it was recorded on camera, so it could be watched repeatedly. If it could only be seen once, wouldn't that be too low in cost-effectiveness?
Juniper looked down at the diamond ring on her finger, walked to the bathroom door, and said, "The previous pink diamond should still be in the house in Solara. If we look for it, we can definitely find it."
Magnus had already taken off his shirt, revealing his perfect abs and muscle lines, suddenly exposed to Juniper's sight.
Juniper's words came to an abrupt halt. She stared for a few seconds, then quickly looked away.
"All right, take your time."
She turned to leave but was pulled back by a long, strong arm from behind.
Magnus held her slender waist with one arm, looking down at her with deep eyes, his tone inviting, "Shower together?"
Juniper's ears turned red, and she slightly turned her face away, her gaze falling on the small bathroom.
This hotel was one of the lower-end five-star hotels, chosen for its convenience to the factory, so the bathroom wasn't very big.
Juniper's heart raced. "This bathroom isn't suitable for sharing."
Magnus smiled. "You're very slim, you won't take up much space."
Juniper spoke without thinking, "Forget it! It's only been three weeks, we can't..."
Magnus had already stripped off her clothes, "What are you thinking? Just a shower."
In the shower, the glass around them fogged up, and two figures were faintly entwined.
Though nothing was happening, it was extremely intimate.
Hot water poured down from above, droplets sliding down his chest, and Magnus's Adam's apple moved.
Juniper inexplicably felt dry-mouthed.
Perhaps it was her flushed cheeks, or maybe it was the heat in her gaze, Magnus saw right through her.
He leaned down slightly, his voice hoarse, "If you want to kiss, just kiss. I'm yours, do whatever you want."
Juniper's face turned bright red, and she instinctively retorted, "I don't."
Magnus's deep eyes stared at her, a faint smile tugging at his lips, "Really?"
Juniper fell silent.
"But I want to kiss you, Juniper."
As he leaned down, Juniper almost uncontrollably stood on tiptoe, her slender arms wrapping around his neck.
Their lips and teeth intertwined instantly.
It was hard to tell who initiated it.
It was just a kiss, yet more intense than any before.
Juniper saw the tattoo on his left chest and leaned in to kiss it.
Magnus's temple veins throbbed, almost losing control from her teasing.
His large, defined hand held the back of her head, his Adam's apple moving slightly, "Juniper, if you keep this up, I won't let you go."
