Chapter 135 Abduction

On the other side, Ronald had just let go of Juniper.

Juniper was about to wave goodbye to Ronald when a tall, imposing figure barged into view.

The man exuded a powerful aura, with a sinister glint in his eyes and a frosty demeanor.

Beneath those dark eyes, it seemed like there were layers of turbulent waves, ready to surge forth.

‘Why is Magnus here?’ Juniper was momentarily stunned.

The man had already reached her, grabbing her wrist firmly, intending to take her away.

"Magnus, what are you doing!" Ronald stepped forward, trying to hold onto Juniper.

But Magnus was quicker, pulling Juniper behind him.

Ronald attempted to approach, but Magnus took a step forward, blocking his way.

The man stared straight ahead, his eyes filled with disdain and coldness.

He said to Ronald, "I'll give you two choices: one, leave on your own. Two, like that night, if you want to take her away, you'll have to kill me first."

Magnus goaded him.

He knew Christopher had given the order for him to return to Lindwood City without fail. He also knew Juniper would never allow him to actually harm the father of her child.

Ronald's hands, hanging by his sides, gradually clenched into fists, the joints making a faint sound. "Nice to finally meet you, Mr. Blackwood. Today, I see just how cunning you truly are."

If he refused to leave, he would inevitably risk defying Christopher. It was even more likely to jeopardize the cooperation between Windsor Group and SY.

His stepfather had treated him very kindly.

Adopted at the age of eight, for over twenty years, he had always prioritized the interests of the Windsor Group.

His stepfather and the group always held the top spots in his heart. It had almost become his life motto. Nothing and no one could shake his life principles. Yet, at thirty years old, he found himself infatuated with a girl for the first time.

As Ronald fumed, Magnus remained calm. To have her meant defying his adoptive father and jeopardizing the group's interests.

Magnus was truly cunning! In the airport lobby, the flight information sounded: [Attention passengers heading to Lindwood City, your flight CA3669 is now boarding]

Juniper, fearing she might delay Ronald's trip, said, "Ronald, you should go back to Lindwood City first. I can handle this on my own."

Magnus smirked coldly, "Ms. Ronald, are you not leaving yet?"

Ronald's phone rang. The caller ID showed Christopher.

He answered, "Hello, Dad."

"What time will you arrive in Lindwood City?"

"Around 11 in the morning."

"I'll have Jerry pick you up." Ronald acknowledged.

He understood Christopher's implied directive. It was another command to return.

After hanging up the phone, although reluctant, Ronald had to leave. As Ronald departed, Magnus took Juniper's hand and headed straight for the airport exit.

His strides were long, almost dragging Juniper along.

She struggled, "Magnus, let go of me! I can walk on my own!"

The man paused in his steps. He turned around, gazing steadily at Juniper, "If I let you go on your own, are you planning to follow him to Lindwood City?"

If he didn't intervene, how long would she leave this time? Would it be another year like last time? Or even longer?

"I wasn't..." She was just here to see him off. But Magnus had long harbored suspicions, and he simply didn't believe her.

Suddenly, Juniper felt herself carried up.

Magnus hoisted her onto his shoulder with one hand!

Her abdomen pressed against his shoulder, her head facing the floor.

Juniper's face flushed. "Magnus, put me down! What’s wrong with you? I said I can walk!"

She wriggled on his shoulder, struggling to get down.

The airport was bustling with people.

They caused quite a commotion.

Passersby around them couldn't help but look at them.

Magnus, as if he owned the place, strode out with Juniper on his shoulder.

Joseph followed closely behind them.

His face was stern, emotionless.

Magnus was extremely bossy.

Juniper took a deep breath.

Then suddenly, she shouted, "Help! This is a human trafficker! I don't know him!"

The man's large hand landed heavily on her hip, giving a firm slap as a warning, "Behave!"

Soon, she was shoved into the car.

As soon as she was let down, she immediately reached for the left car door.

Magnus pulled her into his arms.

Juniper fell onto his lap.

Just as she was about to struggle, he firmly grasped her waist with his knobby hand, keeping her securely on his lap.

"Ronald has abandoned you, where do you think you can go?"

He furrowed his brow slightly, sounding a bit impatient.

Juniper breathed rapidly, staring at him warily.

Seeing her attempt to escape, he grabbed her slender nape with his large hand, pressing her face down.

Their foreheads were lightly touched.

Their noses almost touched. Their breaths mingled.

Magnus looked at her intently. "Ronald doesn't want you anymore. In his mind, Christopher and the interests of the Windsor Group are far more important than you."

Juniper puzzled, couldn't help but say, "He should. That’s normal."

She wasn't anyone to Ronald.

How could she surpass Christopher in Ronald's heart?

For Magnus, those words were not pleasant to hear.

His eyes turned colder.

He wondered, ‘Does she like Ronald so much, even if he is to abandon her?’

Magnus was so close to her that she felt suffocated and powerless.

She instinctively pushed him away.

He clasped her wrists behind her back with one hand, holding them tightly.

The other large hand pressed against her nape.

Juniper sat on his lap, her face forced down for a kiss.

The more she resisted, the more forceful Magnus became.

Their kisses left them both breathless.

But for Magnus, what he desired went far beyond this.

Emotions suppressed for too long surged and erupted at this moment.

Pressing her nape gently, he coaxed her lips, "Be good, open your mouth."
