Chapter 335 Gone Bad
Juniper looked bewildered.
Who rubbed him with high heels?
Juniper chuckled, "It wasn't me, Mr. Blackwood, you got it wrong."
She reached out and pushed him away.
Just as she pulled away a bit, he grabbed her back.
Magnus lowered his eyes and stared at her, seemingly doubtful, "Not you?"
Besides Juniper, who else would dare to rub his leg with the tip of their shoe?
Juniper laughed in exasperation, her tone a bit helpless, "It really wasn't me, Mr. Blackwood. I'm not that bored to rub the client's leg with my shoe tip during a negotiation."
Magnus's face darkened, and his brows furrowed deeper.
He thought it was Juniper, so he let it slide several times. Now, thinking back, with a different person in mind, Magnus's eyes were filled with disgust.
Even through the suit pants and shoes, it felt absolutely revolting.
He cracked his knuckles.
Juniper's thoughts cleared up, and she roughly guessed what was going on, "Mr. Blackwood, you should go settle accounts with Ms. Abbott. However, the contract is already signed, and if you want to back out, you might have to pay a penalty."
Karen almost sold her out just now.
It wouldn't be too much for her to strike back once.
Seeing Magnus's face as cold as ice, Juniper kindly reminded, "Mr. Blackwood, Ms. Abbott's office is on the ninth floor. I'll take you there."
To settle accounts.
Of course, Juniper didn't say this out loud.
Ninth-floor office.
Karen was immersed in the joy of successfully signing a big deal when a knock on the door suddenly sounded.
"Ms. Abbott, Mr. Blackwood has something to discuss with you."
Karen was stunned.
Damn, Juniper had quite a vengeful spirit!
Striking back so quickly?
The office door opened, and Juniper made a "please" gesture to Magnus.
After Magnus went in.
Juniper smiled politely, "Mr. Blackwood, why don't you have a good talk with Ms. Abbott? I have something to attend to, so I'll step out first."
After tossing the bomb back to Karen, Juniper closed the office door and let out a heavy sigh.
To be fair, Karen was really bold to dare to scheme against Magnus.
Inside the office.
Magnus leaned back in the chair opposite Karen, his cold gaze fixed on her like sharp blades, ready to slice her flesh piece by piece.
Karen forced a smile, "Mr. Blackwood, are you dissatisfied with Quinn's service just now? If you're not satisfied, it's okay, tonight..."
She hadn't finished speaking.
Magnus had already interrupted her, his voice as cold as ice, "Was it you?"
Karen's face stiffened, and she quickly waved her hand, "No, it wasn't me. I'm not that stupid!"
"Who did the stupid thing then?"
The pressure from Magnus was intense, and his gaze seemed like it could kill her.
Karen forced a smile, "The person who did it has already been fired. Mr. Blackwood, rest assured, this matter won't get out."
"Did you arrange it?"
Although it was a question, Magnus's tone was a statement.
Karen forced a laugh, "Mr. Blackwood, you really misunderstood. It was someone in my department who lacked insight and wanted to cling to you. But I've already given a severe lesson. She's just a young girl, Mr. Blackwood, don't take it to heart."
He sneered, "Ms. Abbott, you're quite good at these little tricks."
Magnus's sharp eyes were like blades cutting her throat inch by inch.
Karen's scalp tingled, and she forced a smile, "Mr. Blackwood, didn't you enjoy it too? Tonight, I've cleared the top floor of the Shilla Hotel. You can play however you want. The food at the Shilla Hotel is also delicious! And, I think you and Quinn are a perfect match!"
As soon as Magnus left.
In the office, Karen shouted, "Quinn!"
Juniper, who was working at the door, walked in with some surprise and looked at the intact Karen, "Ms. Abbott, you're really lucky, not a hair out of place."
Karen's mouth twitched, "You did it on purpose, didn't you? We just finished the contract, if Magnus backs out..."
Juniper stood there, pursed her lips, and said, "Ms. Abbott, you framed me first. Is it wrong for me to strike back?"
Karen laughed in exasperation.
She then carefully scrutinized Juniper.
Well, well!
She originally thought Juniper was an innocent and naive girl, but it turned out that she had underestimated her.
Seeing Karen speechless, Juniper held back a smile and said, "You can use me, but it's only fair for me to strike back."
Karen held back for a long time and finally said, "Fine, well done!"
Juniper extended her hand, her slender fingers moving slightly.
Karen frowned and glanced at her palm, "What now?"
"The deal with SY just now was almost because of me. With a two hundred million dollar difference, how does Ms. Abbott plan to split it?"
Well, this Juniper was much more interesting than that idiot Ronald.
Karen smiled and held up two fingers.
20%?
Juniper didn't retract her hand and held up five fingers, 50%.
Karen raised her eyebrows, "You have quite an appetite, half?"
"I don't have as big an appetite as Ms. Abbott, raising the price and directly scamming SY out of two hundred million dollars. Ms. Abbott arranging Bianca to mess around with the client, I can keep quiet about it, but it depends on Ms. Abbott's sincerity. If Mr. Blackwood finds out it was you who arranged Bianca..."
Karen laughed coldly.
Using her methods against herself.
Who taught her that?
Karen slapped her palm, "Quinn, you're ruthless!"
Juniper smiled, "Ms. Abbott, now we are also a community of interests. In the future, working together won't be tiring."
"Alright, go out."
Juniper acted cute, "Okay, call me if you need anything."
Karen's eye twitched, and she couldn't hold back her breath, calling her back, "Stop, who taught you these things?"
Christopher?
Christopher's style wouldn't be so unconventional.
Ronald was even less likely.
Ronald's brain wasn't even half as flexible as Juniper's.
Juniper lowered her eyelashes slightly, her eyes flickering with some dimness, but she quickly covered it up, "I learned it from the person you raised the price by two hundred million dollars."
Karen was instantly stunned.
She really misjudged Juniper.
Such a cold and serious person could be so shameless?
She originally thought Juniper would come to her angrily, questioning how she could sell her out.
But instead, she turned around and asked for a hundred million dollars in hush money?
This wasn't an innocent girl, but a schemer!
But she was more promising than Ronald.
A playful and appreciative smile flashed in Karen's eyes.
Well, Quinn, you got your revenge.
She couldn't help but be more curious about her and asked, "Given how much he dotes on you, asking him for a hundred million dollars in pocket money is just a matter of words. Do you really want to stay at Windsor Group as my assistant?"
Juniper dodged the question and winked at her, "What, Ms. Abbott, would you miss me if I left?"
