After a bit of an awkward pause, Juniper nudged Magnus inside to check out the shelves.
On the bottom row, there were all sorts of floral scents like rose, jasmine, and orange blossom.
Juniper picked up a box and joked. "These days, the packaging looks more like chewing gum. Think they have a durian flavor?"
Merchants would do anything to stand out.
What was so special about durian flavor anyway?
Some folks loved eating durian, so naturally, there were durian-flavored condoms.
Magnus glanced at her, a smirk playing on his lips. "Do you like durian?"
"It's alright. Too much of it can be overwhelming." She remembered Ophelia loved durian. Back in college, she had often buy a whole big one. The flesh was powdery and dry, with a bit of crunch. Good quality durian did taste pretty good.
"Just a taste is enough." Only then did she catch his drift.
Magnus's gaze was mischievous and playful.
Juniper's face heated up, and even the box of rose-flavored condoms in her hand felt like a hot potato.
For some reason, under his intense gaze, Juniper blurted out, "I don't like durian!"
Magnus looked at her steadily, took a step closer, and with his long, distinct fingers, took the box from her hand, his eyes filled with a faint teasing smile. "Rose flavor is just as good."
Juniper's face stiffened.
He glanced at the shelf, seriously selecting. "What other flavors do you like? I remember you love oranges?"
Juniper didn't want to answer.
In the end, they picked five flavors: rose, orange, strawberry, jasmine, and lemon.
At the checkout, Juniper wondered why there wasn't a self-checkout machine.
The young female cashier gave them a weird look, making Juniper feel pretty awkward.
Who were the decent people buying five boxes of different flavored condoms in the middle of the night?
The cashier scanned the items. "Sir, that'll be $75."
Magnus reached into his coat pocket but didn't find his wallet. He said to Juniper, "I think I left my wallet in the car. I'll go get it."
Juniper, finding it troublesome, pulled him back. "I'll pay with my phone."
Saying that, Juniper opened her phone to make the payment.
The female cashier gave Magnus a peculiar look, her eyes filled with disdain as she frowned unconsciously.
She thought, 'Making a woman pay for condoms? What a jerk. The excuse of forgetting the wallet is a common trick, only a naive beauty will believe it.'
She glanced at Juniper a few more times, thinking she looked like a smart and beautiful woman, but she turned out to be a woman lost in love.
However, this man was so handsome, with a cold and abstinent demeanor. What a pity, he was a jerk who loved to scam women for money.

After leaving the convenience store and getting into the car.
Magnus threw the five boxes into the glove compartment, leaned over to help her fasten her seatbelt. "What else do you want to do?"

Juniper's scalp tingled. "What did you say?"
She thought she was hearing things.
How could Magnus say such things with a cold and indifferent face?
It was dark inside the car, with no lights on.
He leaned over, his large hand holding her neck, his gaze deep, but he smiled. "Don't you know what the five boxes of condoms are for?"
"For..." Before she could finish, Magnus had already blocked Juniper's mouth, kissing her for a long time, locking her in the passenger seat.
Since deciding to indulge in the final pleasure, Magnus had repeatedly lost control.
The next morning, Juniper had just woken up when she heard Jenny's scream from downstairs, "Mom!"
Thinking something was wrong, she quickly wrapped herself in a robe and rushed downstairs to the living room, only to see two female sales assistants in professional attire carrying a luxurious wedding dress into the house.
"Ms. Beaumont, this is the wedding dress you ordered from our store. The size has been adjusted according to your measurements. Would you like to try it on before signing for it?" one assistant said.
Juniper blinked, confused. "I didn't buy a wedding dress. You must have made a mistake."
"Mr. Blackwood called our store early this morning to order it. There's no mistake, Ms. Beaumont," the assistant replied.
Jenny, who was about to head to school with her backpack, looked at the dress with wide eyes and said, "Mom, is Dad going to propose to you? This wedding dress is so beautiful, with so many sparkling diamonds on it!"
The little one reached out to touch the diamonds on the dress.
Juniper took a closer look and realized that this was the wedding dress she had admired in the shop window last night.
She didn't expect Magnus to buy it so decisively, just like buying groceries.
She was still in a daze.
Magnus, already dressed in a suit, came downstairs.
Juniper asked him, "Why did you buy this wedding dress? I was just casually mentioning it last night."
The female sales assistant, skilled in flattery, said, "It's rare for Ms. Beaumont to casually mention something, and Mr. Blackwood remembered it right away. It shows that Ms. Beaumont is very important to Mr. Blackwood and worthy of such an expensive wedding dress."
Magnus put his arm around her shoulder, looking down at her. "Do you like it?"
Who wouldn't like such a luxurious and stunning wedding dress?
Juniper nodded, smiling. "I like it, but it's too extravagant."
Besides, they weren't planning a wedding anytime soon, so the dress would just be an expensive decoration.
"As long as you like it." Magnus took the receipt from the sales assistant and signed his name with a flourish, without any hesitation.
The sales assistant was overjoyed, her smile almost reaching her temples.
It had been a while since she had encountered such a generous customer. The commission from this sale would be enough for the two sales assistants to not work for two years.
The sales assistant kept praising, "Ms. Beaumont is so beautiful and has a great figure. You will look stunning in this wedding dress. Ms. Beaumont, would you like to try it on now? We can help you put it on. This dress is heavy, and it might be difficult for you to wear it alone."
Magnus had to go to the company and he would drop Jenny off at school on the way.
Yesterday, he and Juniper were photographed by reporters while on a date at Urban Oasis Plaza. The news of Magnus's survival had spread, causing a sensation in the morning news and SY's stock market.
A high-level meeting was scheduled for the morning.
Seeing that he had things to do, Juniper said, "You take Jenny and go ahead."
Before leaving, he kissed Juniper's forehead. "Wear it for me tonight?"
"Okay," Juniper's ears turned red, and she responded softly.
After Magnus and Jenny left.
Juniper looked at the wedding dress again, marveling at its luxurious craftsmanship.
She took out her phone, snapped a photo, and sent it to Ophelia.
Ophelia's message exploded immediately: [What? Are you having a wedding too? Are the diamonds on this dress real? Did Mr. Blackwood propose?]
