Chapter 109
Eclipse
“That’s why I Love Her.” She hugged daisy, completely crushing the tiny stuffed unicorn, and the unicorn prince seemed to be nervous, and left the room.
She hopped off Kaiden’s lap, hugged me, and grabbed Caleb’s hand. “Mommy and daddy are busy, let’s go find Uncle Connor, he always has pizza rolls.” She chirped, and Caleb nodded
“Look out the window first Izzy.” Pointed Kaiden.
“OH MY LADY DADDY THERE’S A REAL UNICORN OUTSIDE!” She screamed at the top of her lungs, and climbed on top of the Vampire Prince without asking.
Allister pranced around, looking majestic with his flowing sparkling mane and light blue body. His hooves were a light gray, and his horn was completely clear and crystalline. It looked almost like it was made of quartz. He galloped, disappearing in a flash of light, then galloped in the air without wings, but his horn glowed white. I could only guess that that was how he flew without wings.
“That’s the prince.” I chimed in.
“OH-my-goddess, Was he in Here?” She screamed.
“Yes.” Said his brother. She squealed seeing him come back into the house. She waited for him to come through the door, and she immediately hugged his legs. He had dressed into a suit, and a tie that matched his hair.
“You’re so soft and pretty-Can you stay here forever and ever?! I will brush your mane and give you all the apples you want!” She beamed speaking so fast, even I had a hard time unpacking it all….
“Um Lord Kaiden.” He held his hands up in defense, seeing as how he really was almost attacked for hiding behind me.
“Izzy leave the man alone.” Said Connor, who had to pry her off him. I wonder… would her mate be a unicorn one day? That would be interesting.
Caleb followed, and the meeting continued, but now I worried of how fast my pups, no all four of them, had such strong personalities, and dominant wolves that shouldn’t exist yet. They behaved twice their age, which apparently was normal for royalty. They are born to rule, raised to lead.
But I still wanted them to be pups.

Xaxas, The Horned Lion, could not be defeated… he was tricked.” Said the Dragon Prince Saiyoken, who smelled to be at least equal strength as me… I wondered why had he not challenged Sky’s kid. He probably didn’t want to babysit all the weak mother fu-
“Legend says that his soulmate will be born of a hybrid.” Said the Unicorn prince, “But like I’m a hybrid, my brother, your adopted daughter is your second’s mate, right? Who could tame a man with the title of Lion?” He said with a frown.
“How do you know that?” I interrogate.
“What?” He blinked stupidly.
“About Heidi. How do you know John’s the Second Seat’s heir?” I growl, which made him nervous. I had tried to keep that secret… I sighed after Eclipse put her arm on my shoulder, which calmed me somewhat.
“Sorry! I didn’t know that was meant to be kept quiet…. I see into the hearts of others passively, and their secrets are made known. I can’t turn it off, don’t eat me!” He pleaded. His brother showed his fangs.
He slapped him pretty hard on the back of the head, and narrowed his eyes. “Brother you will not disrespect our mother’s house. I formally request you eat him. Put the Coward out his misery now before we have to put the scourges of the earth back into their slumber.” He snarled, almost like a shifter. Interesting. He smelled of horse and elf, but elves, dragons, and fairy folk were more … freely loving. Maybe he expressed dormant traits from another line from long ago.
“I don’t eat supernatural creatures, but if you beg before me again little prince, I will kill you. You disgrace your ancestors.” I snort firmly.
“He was almost eaten by Lord Saiyoken’s brother as a child, ever since then he has been a nervous equine.” Nanatori admitted.
Saiyoken growled in his dragon’s tongue… This was still a sore spot for him I see.
“I motion the children of hybrids be presented to the Horned Lion, and have him to return to the sands should he not find anyone… if he does, all of us must volunteer 100 subjects each that he may have servants.” Said the Vampire Prince. I didn’t like it… but it would be fair. I didn’t like the idea of my grandchildren in the arms of a demigod.
It was said he was a God of judgment encased in flesh. How true that was I didn’t know, but there had to be Some truth to him being as strong as the legends say if he was undefeated by the entire Council of Kings….
Reluctantly, we all agreed. If we could calm him… the others would behave out of fear. Suddenly the Unicorn Prince Allister shed tears with a stern, angered face. There was then a boom of noise, along with light female steps coming up my stairs.
“Alpha Please forgive my intrusion!” Screamed Lilly, running up the stairs. She was a little thin, but not so thin that I was worried. I could see why no one grabbed her, she was so frail…. She had tears in her eyes, and I was surprised that she was able to stand in the presence of so many Alphas, even the unicorn emitted power. [ Babygirl do not move.] I linked. They were friends, but right now she had to be Luna. She didn’t respond, but she put her hand on mine and squeezed.
She kneeled in front of my desk, and shook. She had always been deathly afraid of me, regardless of how neutral I try to be around her. “Speak.” I said calmly.
She hesitated, and tried composing herself. “Alpha.” She stuttered. “I… I have committed a crime.” She shook more. “I cannot have another mate. I have committed a crime against the Lady… against Alpha Crimson…” she whispered. She trembled and I waited for her to compose herself.
“What crime would that be?” Questioned Saiyoken, too curious to wait.
“I do not wish to indite the other party… but I have committed treason. I have been marked by another who is not my mate… you only receive one by the goddess. I have broken the law, my Alpha.” Babygirl tried to hide her smile but I did not. I looked at her with compassion. She’s lived a long time, with a mate that treated her not like a Luna, but as a bitch. /Bow down. Do not Question me. I do not care, wear what I tell you. / I know the others heard her thoughts.
This was something I had known even when we were kids, though I was always told it was not my place… And also that kind of mentality was common during that time period…. I was born in the 1700’s, and they before even that being a little over a thousand…. It was a mentality across all men of all species… at least ones where men ruled…
There was also the fact that so long as she lived, she would yearn for him. It appears that even in his death, she still did.
“Where is Warrior McDaniel, the male?” I asked calmly. She shook, having no words, only fear. I knew about it through Eclipse’s loud thoughts… she was pretty much screaming.
“I am here Alpha.” He walked in proudly, ready to die. Though that wasn’t my intention… it’s more so that Crimson side fears me more, since I don’t come over as much, and when I do, it’s to be Alpha.
“Take your mate Fred, and go on a date or something.” I opened the pack registry and moved Wade into the ‘notes’ section of her file. “For that mark to disappear and a new one to form, he wasn’t her true mate. He was her mark mate….. “You committed no crime she wolf, though, an injustice toward you was resolved…. over 1,000 years later.”
No one has ever waited that long for a mate. Her true mate must have marked someone long ago, and the Lady made her a real bond after ‘Alpha Crimson’ died.
“She told me that Wade was her mate’s brother…” Said Fred, letting her bury her face into his chest. “He stole her away, and killed his brother since they both felt the same for her, but she was not his….”
That confirmed my suspicion and cleared the confusion… Wade was always one to take what was not his… but that he stole and marked Lilly was Wrong. He should have waited for his own mate, not stolen his brother’s.
“Then go with my blessing on your new bonds, that neither of you yearn for wolves who don’t deserve it.” I said with a nod.
“I will take my leave sir.” He bowed, and I waved my hand to dismiss him.
He held her in his arms, and bowed his head as deeply as it could before leaving. I was hugged by my Luna, making me chuckle. “Thank you Alpha.” She said quietly and nuzzled her head into my chest. I patted her hair and kissed her on the forehead before she sat down. We called it a day after that.
