He pulled me gently into his lap and kissed me softly. I could hear the growl in this throat, and feel the lump in his pants. “I think it best I go slow.” He mumbled.
Shimmer had plans…. But one step at a time would be fine by me…Our tongues danced in the naturally lit bedroom of ours, while somehow, I stopped paying attention to what was going on around me...
I was already on fire. He leaned forward to lay me on my back, and once I was there, he slowly ran a claw down my tank top, cutting it, and the bra clean off….

He kissed me, using his strength to hold me up to him as he sat on the bed, and one hand went in between my folds. He took his time, savoring me, and I was wet. I was gripped by both my sides, and he rammed into me with the force I was craving. He was firm and confident, going full speed, grunting with every push. I held onto his shoulders, moaning loudly… I could bet that the pack heard us through the door, but I didn’t care.
I was getting tight again, but this time I knew I would climax. It felt so good… I got closer and closer. I felt the explosion of fireworks under his touch.
I arched my back, trying to keep up with his movements as he went faster, and I bit his mark when he leaned down. He snarled as he came inside me. I could hear his heart beat like a drum, but when it slowed, we snuggled.
He kissed me on the forehead. “Now we are one little mate.” Said his wolf. “It was all I wanted…”
“And I’m glad you let me be sure… I didn’t want you to feel rejected…” I mumbled, looking away, but his hand under my chin let me look him in the eyes. He was serious.
I could see the intense battle between Kaiden and his wolf, though this time the man won.
“More than wife, more than beloved, or mark mate, is my true. So long as you love me, I will never feel rejected by your decision… Rakaam was just impatient.” Kaiden said gently.
After we took a shower together, we went to bed…. I hugged his neck as we slept. I didn’t want him getting up and going anywhere without me.

Oh my Lady she really was ready, and I lay in bed with her sleeping. I tried to take things slow and be gentle, but it was hard with the wolves we have. I was tired myself, but I had to get up…I could hear Beta going up the stairs instead of down… Which annoyed me. She was my world, and the closeness we shared was more than I could imagine. She was all I ever wanted, and I was glad that I let her set the pace of our pairing.
My brother knocked on the door, and I was pissed, “What do you want?” I growl.
“Hey, at least I waited; it’s important.” complained Beta Connor.
“It’s always important.” I growled a little louder. The least they could do was give me One night with my mate without interruption.
“Ugh, just get your ass in the office, Assistant Betta Derrick, Delta and Gamma are here too.” We had agreed to add ‘assistant’ to the other pack members’ titles, as there can only be one. I got up, and shimmied on some boxers, leaving my Luna to sleep.
/Turn around/, Growled Rakaam, and honestly, I agreed, but this was important if everyone came to my office at 3 in the morning.
“Those Headhunters that attacked you were part of a bigger group of about 20 or so.” Said Derrick.
“They work in packs as much as we do, and they’re planning something big.” Said Connor, drinking some black coffee.
I rubbed my hand on my face, thinking about that night. “The girl. Is she in the prison?” I asked sleepily.
“What girl?” Both asked.
“Fuck it, I’ll do it myself.” I grumbled, going downstairs and changing into my wolf, who was uncooperative, wanting to snuggle with Shimmer. [The human that survived the car crash with Eclipse and me.] I said over my shoulder.
I got to the prison, realizing that I forgot my whip… and pants. I only had the boxers. It would have to do. I went to the front desk; the night shift receptionist was playing on her phone. I stood there impatiently, thinking that she would notice my presence, but she was so into it, that she didn’t realize her Alpha was in front of her. I cleared my throat loudly to get her attention.
She jumped startled, “Find me Mary Peterson.” I yawned a deep growl; I was ready to get this over with. She looked on the computer, I could see BookFace in the reflection of her glasses, and she pulled up the intake information.
“She’s in holding cell 208, Alpha, forgive me.” She said full of terror. I nodded and went to the second-floor human holding area. There were a few random campers, a drunk man, and Mary.
She was asleep, her clothes were folded neatly on the floor, the small room was clean. Honestly, it made me proud of the crew I have. They may be human, but they shouldn’t have to suffer. I asked for the guard to open the door, and she bolted awake with the clank of the cell door.
