Chapter 105 Repeating the Same Mistakes
Lisa's confusion was met with Ella's indifference.
"Let's hang tight for one more day," Ethan said. "Tomorrow's Monday, and we've got new plans. By then, that little brat won't have anywhere to hide!"
"Mom, Ethan's really gone all out this time. He hired someone to edit videos, posted them, and even got influencers to go after Luna. He's spent thousands on treating people to meals just to vent your anger."
Ella seized the moment to highlight her son's hard work, hoping Alice would give them some money.
Lisa pouted on the side, thinking, 'Alice can't just give money to Ella. I want some too.'
"I know you all put in effort. Once this is settled, I'll give each of you a bonus! I just don't know when Luna will apologize to me! The longer she takes, the worse I'll make it for her!" Alice said through gritted teeth.
Luna's two aunts, having received Alice's promise of benefits, kept quiet. Each of them was calculating how big the bonus might be and whether it would be enough to buy something for their sons.
The next morning, Luna walked to work.
As she reached the entrance, a figure suddenly rushed out from the side and blocked her path.
"Are you Luna, the ungrateful granddaughter trending online recently? I'm FoodieFusion, a blogger with 12 million followers. Can I interview you?"
"Luna! Ella and Alice say you're ungrateful. You used Eric to gain sympathy, and you keep a gigolo. Do you have any response?"
"Have you thought about apologizing to Alice and Ella? You could release an apology video through my account! I have over 10 million followers!"
Before Luna could speak, the guy had already bombarded her with questions.
Luna took a step back to maintain some distance.
This self-proclaimed FoodieFusion looked about twenty-four or twenty-five, tall and thin, with slicked-back hair. He was holding a camera almost in her face.
Luna knew who he was. She had found evidence of his involvement in the online harassment against her.
Back when she lived at Ella's house, Ella loved watching his videos. He used to be a mukbang streamer, claiming he could eat without gaining weight.
But later, many people exposed that he would induce vomiting after eating, and his videos never showed him swallowing. So, he switched to being a food critic.
Now, he would latch onto any trending topic.
Luna glanced at him, noticing several small scars on his knuckles from holding the camera. He was indeed very thin, but his face was puffy, and his voice was hoarse. These were the symptoms of binge eating and purging.
Seeing Luna remain silent, he became even more aggressive.
The blogger pressed, "Luna, how did you meet that gigolo? Were you with him before you were even an adult?"
"You say you have over 10 million followers, so a lot of people watch your videos!" Luna stood still and suddenly spoke, facing the camera calmly without any hesitation.
She knew he was live streaming.
So, she planned to let his followers see his true nature.
"Of course, when my traffic was good, I was a top-tier blogger," he said, referring to several years ago.
Back then, his induced vomiting and fake eating hadn't been exposed.
Luna retorted, "Since so many people watch you, is this the kind of negative and baseless content you want to spread? You were once a fraud, exposed and cursed by countless people until you had to disable comments! Do you think the internet has no memory? You still haven't learned your lesson, and you want to repeat your mistakes?"
