Chapter 30 You Are So Handsome

"Summer! You're really something."

Luna's voice was only audible to Summer.

"Same here! The guy my aunt set me up with, who she claims is an elite, can't stop talking about surfing, skiing, and playing golf abroad! I've grown tired of this! Only you can save me!"

Summer hated these self-important men the most.

The worst part was that he brought a friend along, who was clearly inferior in every way and looked greasy, probably just to make the date guy look better.

"So what should I do?"

Luna was both amused and annoyed, but she understood Summer's aversion to blind dates.

"You just sit down and say a few words. Then you pretend to get a phone call and say there's a fire at home or something. Just make up an excuse so we can leave."

Luna fell silent.

Summer had so many questions to ask Luna, so there was no time to deal with that presentguys.

Luna gave an ’okay ‘ gesture and was pulled back to the table by Summer.

The young man, dressed in designer clothes, looked Luna up and down and casually placed his wrist with a luxury watch on the table. The guy next to him also ogled Luna.

His old classmate had said today's blind date had a good family background, and if she could introduce a friend to him, that would be even better.

He didn't expect someone so beautiful to show up.

But he didn't know about Luna's job, her family background, and whether she could help his career. Did she have a house in the city center?

Luna had barely sat down for three seconds before the guy across from her started asking questions.

"Miss, what's your last name? Are you Ms. Blackwood's college classmate? Are your families close, so you two have been good friends since childhood?"

The ordinary yet confident man started with a barrage of three questions.

Luna looked at Summer, who gave her a look that said, "Now you know why I needed you to save me, right?"

Luna nodded silently.

It was indeed disgusting!

"I'm here to have coffee with Summer, not for a blind date."

Luna's one sentence shut him up.

But the greasy guy didn't give up. He thought girls from well-off families always acted aloof.

Seeing Luna's average attire, he guessed her family might be poor, trying to snag a rich husband!

There was no need to waste too much effort on her! But she was pretty, so maybe just for fun!

"Yeah, my friend is here to keep me company. Aren't you tired of asking so many questions?"

Summer had bad feelings towards the blind date guy, let alone the greasy friend he brought along.

Earlier, he had acted all high and mighty in front of the waiter. He even ordered coffee in French, but got it wrong.

"Ms. Blackwood, don't be mad. My friend studied abroad, so he's very open-minded and straightforward."

Luna almost spat out her lemon water.

She felt really sympathy for Summer!

Summer rolled her eyes dramatically.

If her mother hadn't threatened to send her abroad, she wouldn't have come to this blind date.

"Excuse me; I have a call to take."

Luna thought she could stay a few more minutes, but she couldn't stand it anymore and headed to the restroom with her phone.

Coming out of the restroom, Luna was ready to use the prearranged excuse to take Summer away, but she saw the greasy guy at the restroom door.

"Would you like to add me on Facebook? My friend is opening a club in a few days, and I'd like to invite you for coffee and a show."

Upon his saying, he extended his phone towards Luna, already on the add friend page.

Luna waved her hand, "I don't have Facebook." Even if she did, she wouldn't add him!

"Then let me help you create one! How about the username, Harry Adams' Girlfriend? My name is Harry Adams."

The greasy guy stepped closer, one hand on the wall, the other waving his phone in front of her.

He thought he looked very cool and stylish.

However, Luna felt like throwing up.
