Chapter 180 Whose Grandma Are You? Don't Randomly Claim Relatives

Luna was surprised they were having another buffet dinner. "Didn't we just go a few days ago?"

Charles nodded. "Yeah, I know you're already sick of seeing these disgusting people. Just have some fruit at lunch to help digest."

Alice and the others were almost furious at Charles's comment.

Alice glared at Charles, gritting her teeth. "Are you the guy who married Luna? How old are you? Is your family from the city or the suburbs? Do you have a house in the North District? How much is your parents' pension? Do you have any siblings?"

"How much did you give Luna as a wedding gift? Did you have a wedding banquet? Here, we don't recognize a wedding gift less than twenty thousand dollars! Giving less will bring bad luck to your family! It could even make your parents bedridden! Since Luna is my granddaughter, you can forget about marrying her without a twenty thousand dollar wedding gift."

After hearing Alice's relentless barrage of questions, Charles just stopped and gave her a cold, disdainful look.

"Whose grandmother are you? Don't randomly claim relatives! Do you even deserve it?" he said coldly.

He then pulled Luna's hand and got into the car by the roadside.

Seeing Alice and Ella still trying to catch up, Luna immediately shook her phone. "I recorded your conversation just now! If you don't want me to post it online, get lost!"

With that, Luna calmly got into the car, leaving Alice and the others stomping and cursing by the roadside.

In the shadows, Mike and his group saw this scene and were less shocked than before, even somewhat used to it.

But they never thought Mr. Lee would stand up for Ms. Brown.

Mr. Lee's actions once again turned their impression of him upsidedown.

Watching the departing car, Alice was so jealous she almost fainted.

Why could Luna find such a handsome husband?

That guy looked young, dressed well, and probably wasn't in bad shape financially. Asking him for a twenty thousand dollar wedding gift should be no problem.

Luna must have pocketed the wedding gift herself.

Ella's gaze fell on the departing car, and she sneered.

"Mom, that guy isn't rich. I recognize that car; Travis's team leader drives one. It's less than thirty thousand dollars. If he bought it at the beginning of the year, he could have gotten a few thousand dollars off and even zero down payment. I bet this guy bought it on loan."

"Luna's boyfriend is only good-looking," Ella said.

In Ella's eyes, no young man was as capable as her son.

Alice was still thinking about the wedding gift and the relocation compensation, gritting her teeth. "I did say I didn't want Luna's father's funeral expenses, but I've contributed to raising Luna. I deserve a share of her wedding gift and relocation compensation! I won't let her off easily!"

She was both envious and jealous.

If Luna had really found a thug, Alice would be happy even if he couldn't afford a wedding gift because she could laugh at Luna.

But instead, Luna found a handsome guy with a car, probably with a house too.

With Alice's snobbish nature, how could she be okay with that?

She never wished for Logan to thrive; instead, she hoped his fortunes deteriorate. Only then could it highlight the success of her own children.

Ella continued, "Mom, let's go back and think of a plan. We can definitely come up with something. At least we've seen the guy now, so it won't be hard to find him."

"That guy must be an ordinary employee because he drives a car worth less than thirty thousand dollars. It should be easy to deal with him. Once we find out where he works, we'll go make a scene at his workplace!"

Ella was also extremely jealous. She also felt it was unfair to Ethan.

Ethan was so excellent, how was he any worse than Luna's current husband? Why did Luna choose this guy over Ethan?
