Chapter 107 Underestimated Him
Most of the viewers in FoodieFusion's livestream were grilling him. If he had nothing to hide, he would've sworn to God by now.
When he got called out for fake eating and inducing vomiting before, he made a huge fuss. But when he got exposed, he played the victim card. Now, his silence showed he was really scared.
Luna added, "I found out that mall video was edited. Bet that was your doing too! You know the consequences of framing me. I don't need to spell it out!"
"Remember, justice will prevail!" With that, Luna turned and walked away.
FoodieFusion quickly shut down the livestream.
Watching her leave, he gritted his teeth and rushed at her.
When Luna heard the commotion and turned around, FoodieFusion threw himself backward, hitting the ground hard.
"She hit me! Luna hit me!" Clutching his scraped head, he shouted, trying to get the attention of passersby.
Across the street, in a Rolls-Royce, the bodyguard Mike asked cautiously, "Mr. Lee, Ms. Brown seems to be in trouble. Should we help her?"
Charles's expression was stern, his gaze fixed on Luna. He saw her calmly raise her hand and point upwards.
"There are eight cameras at the police station entrance! Which one do you want me to show you?"
As Luna finished speaking, Charles smiled knowingly and told the driver to drive away.
FoodieFusion was deflated. His attempt to frame Luna had failed. He got up and ran away, hoping Luna didn't have any real evidence. If she did, he was in big trouble.
Luna entered the office building and was about to call her lawyer when she got a call from Charles.
"What do you need?" Luna was surprised; he never called this early.
Charles explained, "I have a recording of a conversation between Ella and a neighbor. I'll add you on Facebook and send it. See if you can use it."
After Charles finished, he waited for Luna's Facebook username.
Luna hesitated. "The source of this video..."
"Don't worry. It's legal!" Charles's tone turned cold.
He mused, 'Was she suspicious that I acquired the recording by shady means?'
She underestimated him!
If it weren't for her decent attitude towards Warren yesterday, he would've hung up by now.
"I just don't want to trouble you. Thanks in advance. My Facebook username is..."
Luna gave her username, and Charles hung up.
Soon, someone named Charles added her on Facebook.
Knowing it was him, Luna accepted the request.
Charles saw her Facebook name was LunarHoof?
Mr. Lee's mouth twitched. Before, he would've mocked the name, but now he found it oddly cute.
Does she really like eating pig's feet?
"Mike, where's the best pig's feet in Bright City?" Charles asked casually.
Mike was stunned. "Mr. Lee, you like pig's feet? The best are at SkyHaven International Airport. They've been making them for decades."
"Then go buy some later," Charles ordered.
Mike nodded. "Okay, Mr. Lee, how many should I buy?"
Mike wasn't sure if Mr. Lee was buying them for himself or someone else, but it was the first time Mr. Lee showed interest in such a trivial matter.
"Buy a hundred for now. I'll take them back tonight."
Charles didn't know how much Luna liked to eat, so he figured it was better to buy more.
Mike asked in astonishment, "A hundred? How long would that take to eat?"
