Chapter 28 Officer Luna

"This lady, if it's inconvenient for you to take the car, you can cancel the order." the driver, in a hurry, looked apologetically at Anna.

"I... Miss, I can tell you're a reasonable person. Can you judge for me? Is my request too much?"

Anna was unwilling to call another car and didn't want to admit defeat.

She was determined to change her seat!

She also wanted to find someone who agreed with her.

Preferably someone who would stand up for her so she could just watch the show.

Luna didn't expect the other party to ask her to judge. She blinked, and said softly, "Your request is not excessive."

Luna's voice was very soft, and Anna smiled with satisfaction when she heard it.

The driver and the middle-aged man exchanged glances, their faces darkening.

Luna continued, "But this gentleman has the right to refuse you! If he changes seats with you, he's helping you. If he doesn't, it's also reasonable! You asked me to judge, but you're dragging me into moral coercion with you."

After Luna finished speaking, the driver and the middle-aged man gave her a thumbs-up in their hearts.

Look at how clear her logic was!

Both were beautiful women, but their difference in quality was huge!

Anna's smugness didn't last long before Luna's words made her face turn pale with anger.

"Miss, we're all girls. Shouldn't we help each other when we're out?"

Anna's logic amused Luna.

Earlier, Anna had looked at her sideways, and now she wanted mutual help?

'Is this woman schizophrenic?'Luna thought.

"If you lost something now or were being harassed or harmed, I would definitely help you! But since we're all carpooling, we have to follow the carpooling rules! First come and first served! You can't force it."

Luna spoke methodically and logically.

For a moment, Anna was so angry that she couldn't maintain her facial expression.

The veins on the back of her hand gripping the car door bulged.

"I can't out-argue you! And I can't fight the three of you! I'll call another car!"

Anna slammed the car door in anger and turned away.

Inside the car, Luna spread her hands towards the driver and the middle-aged man.

"Can we go now?"

The driver nodded and started the car.

The middle-aged man looked back at her and said in a deep voice, "Miss, you don't think I'm a douchebag for not giving up my seat, do you?"

Luna was amused by his words.

"There are millions of douchebags, but none quite like you."

Both the middle-aged man and the driver were amused.

"And I know why you didn't give up your seat."

Luna pointed to a folding cane he had placed by his leg.

He probably had a leg injury and found it inconvenient to move around, and the driver's initial hesitant expression had also given Luna a hint.

She was a police academy graduate with excellent observational skills.

The middle-aged man gave her a thumbs-up.

"Actually, I'm not someone who likes to argue. When she first spoke, I was about to get up and give her my seat, but then I saw the obvious disdain in her eyes when she looked at my phone."

"My phone screen was cracked before I got in the car and I hadn't had a chance to replace it. She probably thought I was one of those people who look decent but are actually just poor workers, so her eyes were full of disdain and contempt!"

"Since she despised me so much, why should I give up my seat for her?"

The middle-aged man's words made Luna suddenly enlightened.

She had been replying to messages earlier and hadn't observed so closely.

"So, are you the Warren Buffett of the working class or the hidden master of finance?"

Luna's words once again amused the driver and the middle-aged man.

The man knew she had seen the words 'Lee Legacy Financial' on the folder he was holding.

"My name is Danniel Lee. Here's my business card. If you need help in the future, you can find me."

Danniel had a good impression of Luna and proactively handed her his business card.
