Chapter 205 Get Lost Now

Emily hopped off at the Mountain Vista Gardens stop, juggling Tommy in one arm and a bag of fruits in the other. Luna came down to meet her. Emily tried to hand over the fruits, but Luna quickly scooped up Tommy instead.

"I want to hold Tommy, not the fruits," Luna said, her eyes lighting up like a kid in a candy store. Emily couldn't help but smile too.

Tommy was just too cute to handle, with his big eyes, high nose bridge, rosy little lips, and fair skin with a hint of red. His shiny blonde hair was sometimes tied into little braids by Luna and Summer, making him look even more adorable. Tommy loved being with Luna. He was just over a year old and enjoyed being in her arms.

They walked back together. When they got downstairs, Luna rang the doorbell. While waiting for Eric to open the door, Luna saw two familiar figures in the reflection of the glass door. She quickly turned around to see Ethan and Luke approaching.

Luna handed Tommy back to Emily and shouted, "What do you want?"

Ethan and Luke had planned to follow Luna inside to see which apartment she lived in. But Luna had shut the door on them.

"Who are they?" Emily asked, not recognizing Ethan and Luke but sensing they were trouble from Luna's expression.

"Ethan and Luke," Luna replied, her voice growing colder.

"How did they find this place?" Emily frowned, then suddenly had a realization. "I know! It was Wendy! When I was leaving earlier, I called you from the bedroom. After hanging up, I opened the door, and Wendy was right there. She said she was passing by on her way to the bathroom. But her expression was off; I was in a hurry, so I didn't think much of it! She must have eavesdropped on our call and then called Ella and Alice, who sent them to follow me here."

Emily couldn't believe Wendy was still so persistent. After being scolded by Luna at the police station, she still dared to contact Ella and Alice. Wendy really wasn't afraid of them exposing Bobby's domestic violence video. Wendy only cared about the immediate benefits, not the future consequences.

Ethan, eyeing Luna up and down, said shamelessly, "Luna, just open the door and let us in. We're already downstairs at your place; you can't just leave us out here. Wendy meant well, thinking about our family's harmony."

It had been a while since Ethan last saw Luna. She looked prettier than ever, radiating youthful energy, with her features becoming more refined and bright.

In the past, when Luna went back to Ella's house on weekends, she would do housework at night and get up early to make breakfast. Ella would deliberately leave chores for her to do, so Luna was always busy on weekends.

Now, living with Charles, his clothes were sent to the dry cleaners, and he tidied up his own room. If he was thirsty, he would boil water and do simple chores himself. If he saw the living room or kitchen was messy, he would clean it up. Unlike at Ella's house, where Travis and Ethan wouldn't even pick up a fallen soda bottle, they only knew to ask for things. So now Luna was eating and sleeping well, and she didn't have to worry about Ethan sneaking into her room to rummage through her underwear. Naturally, she looked much better than before.

"Who do you think you are? What right do you have to come into my home? If you don't want me to chase you away with a broom, get lost now!" Luna snapped. Ethan's shamelessness had truly reached a new low in Luna's eyes.

"Luna! How can you talk to your cousin like that? We're not here to argue with you today! Come back with me and see Alice. She's been sick because of you. Alice is so old; she cries every day thinking about you. How can you bear to make an elderly woman so sad? Do you have any conscience left?" Ethan pleaded.
