"I gotta take this call." Luna greeted Evelyn and then picked up Charles' call.
"What do you need?" Luna almost called him "Mr. Lee" but caught herself.
Charles could hear the background noise, like she was in a restaurant.
"I want to get Eric a tablet and thought I'd get your opinion first since it's an electronic device. Are you out for lunch? With colleagues?"
Charles's words had a hidden meaning. He wondered if she might be having lunch with Warren.
Even though they weren't in the same department, they worked in the same building, so it was easy for them to run into each other.
Especially since Warren had a thing for her, he'd definitely find ways to bump into her.
"I'm having lunch with Ms. Nelson. Let's talk about the tablet when I get back." Luna didn't hide it from Charles.
