Chapter 96 The Unbridgeable Gap
Evelyn glanced where Luna was pointing, never expecting to see Charlie Lee, the guy she'd been longing for, sitting in that car.
Tens of feet between them felt like an unbridgeable gap to Evelyn.
Even though Charles knew the car windows were tinted and no one could see inside, he instinctively lowered his seat.
"Ms. Nelson, it's late. You should go home and rest. I heard Mr. Lee is a workaholic. He just got back to Bright City and must have a lot on his plate. Pressuring him now might mess up his work. Why not try again in a few days?"
Luna patiently advised Evelyn, trying to calm her down before she approached Charlie again.
Evelyn found Luna's words made a lot of sense.

"Sure."
Luna readily took out her phone and added Evelyn on Facebook, leaving Mike and the others speechless with shock.
No matter how many words others said, Ms. Brown could persuade Evelyn in just a few sentences.
What an incredible fate!
"Be careful on your way back. Next time, I'll introduce you to my husband," Luna said, causing Mike and the driver Nick to exchange glances.
Even someone as powerful and imposing as Mr. Lee wouldn't be able to handle this situation, right?
Ms. Nelson, who had secretly loved him for ten years, had become good friends with Mr. Lee's nominal wife!
After Evelyn turned and left, Luna went to find Charles. At this moment, Max was getting off work and suddenly saw Luna. Max shivered, thinking he couldn't let Luna see him there.
