Chapter 153 You Can't Judge Whether I'm Reliable or Not

When Charles hung up and left the office, Mike jumped up.

"Mr. Lee, heading out?" Mike asked, trying to sound upbeat.

"Get the business car ready. I'll drive myself to Central Hospital," Charles said, heading for the elevator.

When Mike heard that Charles was going to drive himself, he was momentarily stunned but then relieved. If Mr. Lee was driving the business car, he must be visiting Ms. Brown. But why was she at the hospital? Was she admitted?

Seeing Charles's stern face, Mike didn't dare ask.

Charles grabbed the keys, floored it, and sped off. Mike and the others had never seen him drive so aggressively and exchanged puzzled looks.

The half-hour drive to Central Hospital felt endless to Charles. When he arrived, the parking lot was full, with a line of cars waiting.

Charles called Mike. "Come park the car. Leave the keys. Just tell me where you park."

He hung up and ran towards the inpatient department. Mike quickly got into the business car after exiting the Rolls-Royce.

Charles jogged to the third floor and ran into Summer and Warren arguing in the hallway.

"Summer, let me stay. I'm fine now," Warren insisted.

"Are you out of your mind? It is improper for a single men and a married women to be so close. I can take care of Luna! Go back!" Summer scolded.

"Summer, you and Luna took turns looking after me when I was twenty. If you could do it, why can't I?" Warren argued.

Summer knocked him on the head and barked, "You were a troublemaker back then! If we didn't keep an eye on you, you'd be out racing cars and picking fights! Luna treated you like a younger brother. But now she has a husband, and he'll be here soon. What are you doing here?"

"Summer, Luna's husband is unreliable. They had a flash marriage! Next is a flash divorce."

"That's not for you to decide," Charles said coldly, striding over.

Tall and imposing, Charles's presence was commanding.

"Hello, Charles?" Summer was surprised by his strong aura.

Charles nodded, holding a bag. "These are clothes and daily necessities for Luna."

He had called his servant to prepare them, and they handed them over at an intersection, including clean underwear.

Summer was impressed by Charles's thoughtfulness. She felt relieved.

"Great, now I don't have to go out and buy them. Mr. Lee, are you staying tonight?" Summer asked.

"Of course. I'm her husband. I'll stay with her."

"I'm staying too," Warren said defiantly.

Charles gave Warren a powerful look, his commanding presence exuding a cold aura that seemed to freeze Warren in his tracks instantly. "You're not needed here."

With that, Charles followed Summer into the ward. Warren stood in the hallway, feeling defiant but having no reason to go in.
