Chapter 134 Astonishing Everyone
Eleanor's livestream was a total disaster.
The viewers were relentless, demanding Gabriel to send another 50 meteor showers.
[Gabriel, are you just gonna take this?]
[Gabriel, keep going!]
[Gabriel, are you really gonna back down?]
Gabriel, being an insider on the platform, didn't mind sending some gifts, but he wasn't dumb. He typed while holding a cigarette.
[Another 50? Is that what Eleanor wants too?]
Eleanor, though unwilling, forced a smile and said, "No way. I'm already super happy that Gabriel is in my livestream. Besides, Gabriel has always taken care of me, and he's already sent so much today. Gabriel is so generous!"
Gabriel was finally appeased.
But her popularity was nowhere near that of the Lumina Vitae Foundation!
Eleanor couldn't believe a new streamer could surpass her by so much.
She thought, 'That Ultimate VIP is loaded; if only he could become my Guardian Angel.'
Eleanor's eyes lit up as she opened the page.
[Hey, can we chat privately?]
She sent a photo and her WhatsApp to that Ultimate VIP.
Eleanor was confident in her looks.
However, she waited for a long time, but no response came.
Eleanor's brows furrowed in frustration!
No rush. That streamer didn't even dare show her face and was just consulting with an old lady.
She probably wasn't much to look at.
Eleanor laughed, thinking she had plenty of time. As a top student from Zelphoria Medical School, with both looks and talent, she wouldn't lose to a woman from the lower rungs of society.
Adeline had no time to care about what Eleanor thought; she was checking the backend settlements.
The gifts from the Livingston family had truly shocked Summer.
"Adeline, this is too much." Summer hadn't noticed the special effects during the consultation, but now seeing the money, she frowned slightly. "We should return it."
"Grandma, the platform takes a cut from the gift money." Adeline smiled gently. "You have to get used to it. Being a streamer means people will reward you when they're happy and criticize you when they're not."
Adeline spoke slowly, "We'll take what we deserve. If you think it's too much, we'll keep half and donate the rest to charity. Didn't you always say that girls from tough backgrounds can't afford to go to school? We can build schools for them."
Summer's eyes lit up at this. "Alright! Let's do it your way!"
After saying that, Summer hugged her phone and laughed. "Adeline, I can make my own money now. I can finally make my own money again!"
"You made a lot." Adeline's tone was affectionate as she massaged Summer's legs. "Enough to compensate Robert for all the fish he scared away."
Robert, being a tech guy, still had the payment QR code hanging on him. Hearing his name, he looked up.
Vanessa felt warm inside. "Summer has had a tough life. I used to think Adeline was just another clueless person, but now I see, she's wonderful!"
Leon Nelson chuckled as he ate fish. "Yes, Robert is great too. Last time I took him to the river, the fish were so scared they jumped out one by one. I didn't even need to fish!"
Vanessa rolled her eyes and pinched his ear. "What are you talking about?"
Leon yelped.
Vanessa laughed. "Just wait and see. Summer's good days are just beginning!"
