Luckily, Adeline swooped in to save him. She gently reassured Summer, "Grandma, he was introduced by the Taylor Family and has been on our Eldoria TV station."
"Been on TV!" Summer's attitude did a complete 180 as she looked at Jason. "Then he's a VIP; we gotta treat him right!"
Jason was suddenly thankful for his recent TV appearances.
"No need to fuss over me. I..."
Adeline cut him off with a smile, "We absolutely must. I'll invite him to dinner later."
"Yes, we must." Folks Summer's age didn't trust much, but if it was on TV, it was gospel. "Aaron is still looking out for us."
Jason was confused. Who was Aaron?
Adeline shot him a glance. "Aaron's always been like this, you know. When I was live streaming, he helped boost my popularity, so you noticed us. He originally wanted to invest in the Taylor Family, and our Lumina Vitae Foundation was just a side gig."
Jason quickly nodded. "Yes! Just a side gig!"
Only then did Summer relax and quietly ask Adeline, "Aaron's also working with them?"
"He'll be there when the contract is signed." Adeline's voice was calm and steady.
Jason nodded right on cue. "Yes!"
He looked so compliant. If this scene got out in the business world, people would think he had been replaced by a doppelgänger!
Mark didn't even dare to look at Jason's face too much, fearing he would have nightmares.
Summer was still cautious. "If you really want to invite him to dinner, take Robert with you."
Jason was wondering who Robert was.
Then he saw Robert carrying a big black bag, walking over, lifting his eyes to look at him, with a hint of a smile showing his canine teeth.
Jason was shocked and didn't dare to breathe. "Why is he here?"
"What?" Summer, sharp as ever, furrowed her brows. "You know Robert?"
Helping Robert find his family had always been Summer's wish.
Summer had already planned that if Robert was really abandoned, she wouldn't tell him and would leave a house for him.
If Robert's parents were also looking for him, she would quickly send him back!

Mark thought, 'Is he really twelve years old? No wonder he's been around Adeline; this move is brilliant!'
At this moment, Henry by the business car couldn't wait any longer and was about to go into Chrysanthemum Alley to look for them.
