Chapter 346 Adeline Regains Her Powers

Robert nodded and shook the bell again, seemingly enjoying it, with a simple, honest smile.

Adeline's eyes, however, grew much deeper. She never believed that anything was inherently good or evil.

The most terrifying thing was not the devil, but the human heart.

As for Robert, since she had taken him in, she would continue to care for him.

As long as she didn't provoke him, there shouldn't be any problems.

Adeline pinched Robert's tender cheek.

Robert suddenly remembered something and gestured: That person was about to die, I could smell it.

"Everyone has their fate. Let's see if he goes drag racing today." Adeline couldn't always see someone's fortune at a glance; she had to analyze it based on their facial features, something Noah had taught her.

Because when a person committed many evil deeds, it showed on their face.

This was a natural law that couldn't be hidden.

But today's situation was the first time Adeline had encountered something like this.

When she tried to look more closely, there was nothing left to see.

Adeline had divined from the tarot cards Ronan had drawn; he was destined for a bloody disaster.

Robert tilted his head and gestured again: "You're acting a bit strange today."

"Recovered some instincts." She wasn't sure if it was related to her family recognition or because she had moved back to Zelphoria.

Noah had always told her to return to Zelphoria sooner.

Zelphoria was where she belonged, but she had forgotten.

Adeline toyed with the amethyst pendant at her waist. "Still missing something."

She was waiting for Oliver to find that so-called "thing underground."

Maybe then she would understand what Noah had said.

Lyle felt that this conversation was a bit strange but couldn't pinpoint what was wrong.

"Ms. Vanderbilt, are you saying that Mr. March is really going to have an accident?"

Some people had divined fortunes before, but not like Adeline.

Lyle was genuinely worried. "Ms. Vanderbilt, are you just scaring him?"

"I am scaring him." Adeline put away the special stone, her thin lips curving slightly. "You can keep an eye on it tomorrow. I need to take Robert to the family estate."

Lyle wanted to offer her a ride.

But before he could speak, a business car pulled up.

The license plate was from the Livingston family, the emblem unmistakable.

The driver opened the door, his attitude respectful. "Ms. Vanderbilt, Mr. Livingston is working late at the office and sent us to pick you up."

Hearing this, Lyle didn't know how to react.

Rumor had it that Charles was not satisfied with this marriage, that he was pressured by the older generation and didn't want to disappoint the Vanderbilt family.

Charles had even personally called off the engagement before, but for some reason, it didn't go through.

Lyle had thought their relationship was just a typical family alliance.

But think back to Adeline's immediate messaging and Charles's reaction.

And now the Livingston family's private car.

Wasn't this clearly telling the world that she was his fiancée?

Lyle was stunned; in his impression, Charles wasn't that kind of person.

In all of Zelphoria's high society, everyone knew that Charles, the head of the Livingston family, was not someone to mess with. He would make it clear just by looking at one that strangers should stay away.

Lyle was curious. "Ms. Vanderbilt, your relationship with Mr. Livingston seems different from the rumors."

"What are the rumors?" Adeline, about to get in the car, suddenly became interested.
