Adeline's voice was lazy. "Not interested. Find a bigger house; Robert doesn't like small ones."

Terry handed the phone over.
Kai's first words were, "Dad, I want to talk to you about Holly. I don't oppose you strictly disciplining her, but being angry at Holly for so long over an unknown little witch doctor has truly hurt her feelings."
