Chapter 295 Their Specialness

Charles was quite patient. "What's your bank card number?"

Robert gestured.

Charles transferred $20,000 over, his profile looking noble. "I heard you like eating reishi mushrooms."

Robert nodded.

Charles smiled lightly and ruffled his hair. "I'll bring you some next time."

Robert thought, 'Considering you give me money and food, I'll tolerate it!'

Liking him was out of the question.

He always felt Charles was dangerous.

Staying by his side made him want to run.

Hhe wondered if the boss had listened to what he said.

Robert sighed deeply.

Little did he know, his previous words had the opposite effect.

In Eldoria, Adeline had some unfinished business and wanted to take advantage of the time the two elders were chatting to investigate.

When she arrived, the landlord said, "That group of debt collectors has moved out. I don't know where they've gone, but they must have gotten into some serious trouble. Young lady, why are you looking for them?"

Adeline smiled lightly, her words half-true, half-false. "It's nothing, there's a white-haired person among them who looks a bit like my brother."

"Him?" The landlord's gaze at Adeline changed, as if he wanted to say something.

Adeline didn't rush him, just gave his child a box of milk and a basket of fruit.

The landlord couldn't hold back. "Young lady, not to scare you, but your brother seems a bit strange."

"Strange?" Adeline's attitude was gentle.

The landlord lowered his voice. "Last time, my grandson was almost bitten by a stray dog, and he stood there alone, like he could make those stray dogs obey him!"

"He's an animal trainer." Adeline smiled lightly. "Just got delayed later on."

The landlord looked amazed. "An animal trainer? There's such a profession?"

"Yes." Adeline left a phone number with the landlord. "If he comes back, please contact me."

The landlord sighed. "Not to discourage you, young lady, but don't get your hopes up. I don't think he's coming back."

Adeline had also seen it, it seemed like something happened, and they moved out in a hurry.

No wonder he hadn't reported to the Lumina Vitae Foundation.

However, since he and Robert share the same roots, nothing too bad should happen.

Adeline hadn't forgotten what Noah told her before, to go with the flow.

After finishing her business, Adeline carried her basket and went to the market.

As soon as she arrived, people gathered around her.

"Adeline, is that really your family?"

"Yes, it is." Adeline smiled."Wow, so rich! You will be rich too!"

"I hope Adeline gets rich soon, she's had it tough."

"Exactly!"

Adeline listened with a faint smile, and while buying fish and ribs, she didn't forget to check their health.

"Clarence Fisher, your blood pressure is a bit high, have you been drinking a lot lately?" Adeline asked.

"Just a little more!"

"Azalea Gray, keep him in check." Adeline turned to his wife.

"He doesn't listen to me! Adeline, this meat is tender today, I'll give you extra, no need to pay!" Azalea said.

Adeline paid. "I'm a rich person now, I should pay what I owe."

This made everyone at the market burst into laughter.

"Adeline, I heard you want to take your grandma away?" Azalea asked.

Adeline nodded. "Her leg is better suited for recovery in Zelphoria."

"Then we won't see her anymore." Azalea's words carried a hint of sadness.

Adeline paused. "It's a four-hour train ride. Once things in Zelphoria are settled, if Grandma wants to come back, I'll bring her back."

Adeline indeed had overlooked this point.

Elderly people generally didn't like leaving familiar places.

Summer had always followed her lead.

Would she adapt when they got to Zelphoria?

Thinking of this, Adeline lowered her head and sent a message.
