Robert gestured.
Charles transferred $20,000 over, his profile looking noble. "I heard you like eating reishi mushrooms."
Robert nodded.
Charles smiled lightly and ruffled his hair. "I'll bring you some next time."
Robert thought, 'Considering you give me money and food, I'll tolerate it!'
Liking him was out of the question.

The landlord looked amazed. "An animal trainer? There's such a profession?"
"Yes." Adeline left a phone number with the landlord. "If he comes back, please contact me."
The landlord sighed. "Not to discourage you, young lady, but don't get your hopes up. I don't think he's coming back."
Adeline had also seen it, it seemed like something happened, and they moved out in a hurry.

Adeline listened with a faint smile, and while buying fish and ribs, she didn't forget to check their health.
"Clarence Fisher, your blood pressure is a bit high, have you been drinking a lot lately?" Adeline asked.
"Just a little more!"
"Azalea Gray, keep him in check." Adeline turned to his wife.
"He doesn't listen to me! Adeline, this meat is tender today, I'll give you extra, no need to pay!" Azalea said.
Adeline paid. "I'm a rich person now, I should pay what I owe."
This made everyone at the market burst into laughter.
"Adeline, I heard you want to take your grandma away?" Azalea asked.
Adeline nodded. "Her leg is better suited for recovery in Zelphoria."
"Then we won't see her anymore." Azalea's words carried a hint of sadness.
Adeline paused. "It's a four-hour train ride. Once things in Zelphoria are settled, if Grandma wants to come back, I'll bring her back."
Adeline indeed had overlooked this point.
Elderly people generally didn't like leaving familiar places.
Summer had always followed her lead.
