Chapter 161 His Silhouette

"My last name is Mitchell," Harold said, puffing up his chest like his name alone could open any door.

The staff member frowned. "Sorry, sir, but the Chamber of Commerce is hosting an important guest today and hasn't invited any doctors. Please leave with your companion."

Harold had never felt so humiliated.

Then the staff member got a message through his Bluetooth earpiece. "Yes, I'm at the entrance. Mr. Livingston has arrived? Okay, I'll be right there!"

Stella's eyes lit up. Was she finally going to meet the man she missed last time?

Harold was still fuming and didn't notice Stella's excitement.

It wasn't until Stella gently suggeted a walk that Harold's mood lifted a bit.

Stella spoke softly, "Harold, don't let them get to you. They're just reception staff."

"I know; let's go." Harold appreciated Stella's understanding nature.

Little did he know, Stella's mind was already on the outer hall not far away.

Several Mercedes cars led the way, and finally, a luxurious, limited-edition black Maybach pulled up.

The Livingston emblem was well-known in the business world.

In an instant, everyone stood up straight, waiting for the Maybach to stop.

A high-ranking member of the Chamber of Commerce, dressed in a sharp suit, quickly bent down to open the car door respectfully, a nearly reverent smile on his face. "Mr. Livingston."

As the car door opened, through the gap, Stella saw the imposing and dignified Charles inside.

He wore a string of red beads on his wrist and a dark trench coat instead of a suit. He was surrounded by people, exuding an aura of nobility and coldness.

Stella stood on tiptoe, trying to get a clearer look.

Just then, someone pulled her away—it was a staff member of the Chamber of Commerce. "Why are you still here? Someone, come to Area A. There are two outsiders loitering here, one male and one female. Please take care of it."

The surroundings were chaotic.

Harold and Stella were almost thrown out of the building.

The Mitchell family couldn't afford this kind of embarrassment, so Harold kept looking around as they left, relieved that no one had seen them.

Stella was still thinking about the scene just now. If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes, she wouldn't have believed that such an unattainable person existed in the world.

Even just a side profile was enough to stir emotions.

"Was that Mr. Livingston?" Stella turned to Harold. "Harold, did you hear? The person who opened the door did call him Mr. Livingston."

Harold frowned. "Stella, you seem overly interested in Mr. Livingston."

"I'm just surprised to see a legendary figure, like seeing a celebrity," Stella said, her face blushing slightly. "Harold, are you jealous?"

Harold laughed. "What do you think?"

"I promise I won't glance his way next time," Stella immediately pledged.

Harold's voice was a bit low. "Originally, the Livingston family chose us, but recently, there have been repeated issues with the cooperation."

"Now that Mr. Livingston is here, he will definitely reconsider. With the Mitchell family's reputation, we've got nothing to worry about!" Stella smiled brightly.

Harold squeezed her hand. "You're so considerate, much better than Adeline."
