Chapter 180 False Honor
"Don't write a complaint letter!" Whitney suddenly shouted. If she wrote a letter, she'd be exposed!
Angela frowned. "What's wrong with you? You scared me to death."
"Sorry, Mrs. Martinez," Whitney said, browsing the webpage even faster. "The reward you promised me?"
Angela sneered. "I'll transfer it to you."
Whitney received the money and immediately bought a plane ticket.
Perhaps she was too afraid of Adeline, Whitney couldn't help but say to Angela, "Mrs. Martinez, Adeline is a bit strange. You should be careful."
Angela was dismissive. "She is not worth my caution."
"She..." Whitney had just opened her mouth to say, the people from the education bureau showed up!
Angela listened to the sudden busy tone on the other end of the line and said displeased, "So reckless."
"Ms. Scott is here!" The butler came forward to report.
Angela immediately composed herself. "Quick! Go get Stella down here!"
"Yes!" The butler didn't dare to delay.
Today, the Martinez Family had invited a very important person.
Jade had served the Vanderbilt Family in Zelphoria for many years.
Her words carried weight.
The Vanderbilt Family was incredibly wealthy; casually giving the Martinez Group a partnership would be more money than most people could spend in several lifetimes.
Knowing who they were about to meet, Stella had also dressed up meticulously.
They stood respectfully at the villa entrance, eyes full of admiration as they watched the approaching Rolls-Royce!
When the car stopped, Angela hurried forward. "Jade, it's been over ten years, and you're still so distinguished."
Jade, holding her arm as she got out of the car, was clearly just a housekeeper for the Vanderbilt Family but acted like a queen outside. "I can't compare to you young people."
Saying this, she looked at Stella. "Is this Stella?"
"Yes." Stella's demeanor was humble.
Jade was satisfied.
"Angela told me you know medicine?" Jade asked.
Stella, with a tone of flattery, said, "I study at Zelphoria Medical School, majoring in medicine. Jade, if you ever feel unwell, you can ask me."
"A top student, huh?" Jade was indifferent. "Angela, you really know how to raise them."
Angela was not stingy with her praise. "Stella is indeed excellent. She even treated Mr. Livingston before."
Hearing this, Jade finally took them seriously, full of surprise. "Stella has even met Mr. Livingston!"
She had been with the Vanderbilt Family for so long and had never seen him.
Stella knew Jade had misunderstood, but she didn't clarify. Instead, she clasped her hands and said softly, "We did meet once."
Jade was overjoyed to hear this. "That's settled then! Stella, you'll come with me to see Ms. Vanderbilt tomorrow!"
"Yes." Stella suppressed her excitement.
Angela beamed. "Jade, please sit. Let's chat over a meal!"
If they had felt guilty at first, they were now completely indulging in the vanity of having "treated Mr. Livingston."
After all, no one knew what happened at the estate.
Angela was still rejoicing when suddenly, the phone in her pocket rang!
