Jenna, usually so hot-tempered, now hugged Adeline back like a child. "If you need anything, just go to the Miller Family. Don't be polite with them. With Louis's connection, they would be more than happy to help you. Besides, you have done a favor for the Miller Family. "Jenna is right, the same goes for when you get to Zelphoria," one of the elderly weakly added. "We are not afraid."
Jenna shot him a glance. "Alright, you better keep quiet. Don't forget who caused trouble last time when Adeline got arrested!"
Adeline smiled. "Orville Kidd is innocent; some people are just too good at pretending."
"Innocent? He's retired and still had to say who he thought was good. In the past, that would be considered interfering with appointments!" Jenna was stern with everyone except Adeline. "You tell me, were you right?"
Orville immediately admitted, "I was wrong!"
He hurriedly explained to Adeline, "Jenna is looking out for me. That scoundrel dared to harm the public. If it weren't for your incident, he would still be flaunting my name. I shouldn't have spoken out of turn."
The elderly were referring to the time when Adeline was falsely accused during a live broadcast.
