Chapter 325 A Private Conversation Between The Two

"What's going on?" Adeline casually placed her black bag down and raised an eyebrow at Robert.

Robert pointed at Charles, indicating it was all his fault.

Charles glanced at the fish tank again and chuckled deeply, "With Robert's special ability, we can't go to the aquarium tomorrow."

Adeline also noticed the koi fish foaming at the mouth and knew Robert's secret couldn't be kept any longer. She bit into a piece of candy and chuckled, "Shall we go downstairs to talk?"

Summer had just peeled an apple for her, "Why can't you talk here?"

"It's about the Vanderbilt Family, and he knows more about it. It's a privacy matter," Adeline's reason was legitimate.

Hearing this, Summer didn't stop them.

Charles straightened up and walked closer to Adeline, speaking naturally, "Alright, let's also discuss meeting my family."

Meeting his family?

Robert suddenly looked up!

Adeline paused her candy-biting action.

Only Summer chuckled, "Charlie is thoughtful, but there's no rush. You two haven't been dating for long."

"Grandma, I'm a bit anxious," Charles's smile didn't waver, "I'm afraid if I get too busy, she'll like me less and then I'm done for."

The more Summer listened, the more satisfied she became. Charlie mentioning meeting his family meant he valued this relationship, which was great!

"You two have a good talk," Summer said to Adeline.

Adeline was led away by Charlie. Once they were in the elevator, she squinted her eyes, "Explain to me how we suddenly jumped to meeting your family."

She suspected Charlie had mentioned it on purpose in front of Summer.

Charles glanced at her face and chuckled softly, "Are you mad?"

"Feels like I was set up," Adeline leaned her face against her hand, looked up at him, then looked away. Charles's face really had a way of softening people up.

Charles brushed her long hair aside, his deep, pleasant voice carrying a hint of coaxing, "Grandpa knows you're in Zelphoria and asked when I'd bring you home. I could only tell him I'd ask you first."

This was the truth. The Livingston family couldn't have picked her up without Nicholas knowing.

"If you don't want to meet them, we can wait," Charles's cold demeanor softened, exuding noble gentleness, "It's up to your schedule."

After hearing this, Adeline reassessed him.

Just then, the elevator doors opened.

Outside stood a group of black-suited bodyguards. "Mr. Livingston!"

In Eldoria, Charles kept a low profile.

Now back on his turf, there was no need to hide his identity, making him look every bit the top-tier figure of Zelphoria's high society.

After the hotel restaurant was cleared and rearranged, the lighting was beautiful.

Someone was mixing drinks at the bar, and a saxophonist was playing.

The chef stood by, ready at any moment.

Besides him and Adeline, there were no other guests.

This hotel had a history of over ninety years.

Part of it had become a museum, frequently visited by tourists.

It also hosted foreign guests and jewelry and antique auctions.

As Adeline found herself in this setting, many scenes flashed through her mind.

She tapped her fingers on the table, her eyes deep but her face expressionless, and asked, "So, the Livingston family has taken over here?"

"The Livingston family holds the management rights," Charles took a sip of water, dining with exceptional elegance, "You specifically avoided Grandma to talk to me about what?"

Adeline, eating foie gras, seemed uninterested. Leaning her face on her hand, her voice was lazy, "How much do you know about the sponsored student from the Vanderbilt Family?"
