Chapter 331 Everything Can Still Be Changed

"I used to love watching idol dramas, that's where I learned it," Adeline lied naturally and calmly. "Go open the door for Robert. If you don't, he'll start asking me all sorts of questions."

Charles brushed his hand through her hair and indeed stood up.

But he didn't believe a word Adeline said.

The door opened.

Robert's face clearly showed caution.

He was afraid Adeline might be infatuated with Charles's good looks and cause some trouble.

The black mist around Charles was more noticeable. Was his bracelet losing its effect?

Robert's gaze shifted down to Charles's wrist.

Charles raised an eyebrow, "By yourself?"

Robert gestured, pointing downstairs.

Charles was quick to understand, "Grandma is downstairs having breakfast and sent you up to call us?"

Robert nodded.

Charles smiled faintly, "You came at the wrong time today, so no money for you."

Robert thought, 'What kind of logic is that?'

Charles brought Robert inside, not forgetting to set some rules. "From now on, don't come in the morning or evening, and you'll get your money."

Robert gestured, 'I don't believe you. Give me a thousand dollars first.'

Charles changed his shirt, fingers fastening the buttons. "My phone is on the desk, bring it to me."

Robert didn't move; he felt Charles's commands were too familiar!

How strange!

Charles chuckled softly, "I'll transfer the money to you."

At this, Robert thought taking a few steps wouldn't hurt.

He handed the phone to Charles.

Charles transferred a hundred thousand dollars to him. "You can go shopping this afternoon. Whatever she wants to buy, get it for her."

Robert looked at the balance seriously, nodding perfunctorily.

When Adeline came out after changing, this was the scene she saw. She raised Robert's hand, her voice calm, "A hundred thousand dollars?"

Robert pointed at Charles, meaning he insisted on giving it!

Adeline looked over at Charles, "Don't give him so much in the future. Robert isn't suited for this."

"Alright." Charles smiled elegantly, walking closer to her, "In a while, you can tell me more about your past."

She thought that once she finished freshening up and came out, the matter would be over.

Why did Charles still remember?

Charles raised an eyebrow, watching her slightly moving eyes, his smile deepening.

Adeline somewhat regretted it.

Having such a smart boyfriend was too hard to handle. Charles was impeccable.

Knowing Summer had mobility issues, he had already bought an electric wheelchair.

Instead of letting the driver take them, he sat in the driver's seat himself and took them on a half-day tour of Zelphoria.

In the afternoon, Charles had to go back to the company and asked Adeline if she wanted to come.

Adeline had something on her mind, "You're going to the company and taking me?"

"Didn't you say before that you wanted to see my living and working environment?" Charles said naturally.

Adeline looked at him, "In a few days. I need to visit the Vanderbilt Family today."

"In a few days? How many days?" Who would have thought that one day, even Charles from the Livingston family would have trouble making an appointment?

Adeline thought for a moment, "Seven or eight days. I have a good sense of your health."

These recurring dreams still concerned Adeline.

She added, "Other issues need attention, like when you're driving on the highway. Even if you're tired, don't sleep in the car."

Adeline could only see the car accident happening on the highway.

She wasn't sure which highway.

But from the timing, it definitely wasn't soon.

The strangest part was, how could the head of the Livingston family get into a car accident so easily?
