Chapter 177 How to Prove It
"That's her!"
"Mr. Bianchi has a wife and kids!"
"How disgraceful!"
The murmurs grew louder.
Aaron's face was stern. "Whitney, Reuben! What do you think this school is?"
Reuben quickly pleaded, "She seduced me; please consider that..."
"Shut up!" Aaron, who wouldn't have known how chaotic his school was if he hadn't come. "I don't want to hear your excuses. You're all the same!"
Whitney shamelessly denied, "That wasn't me!"
She couldn't admit to this. If she did, her entire career would be over!
After all, there was no video, just audio. Who could definitively say it was her?
Adeline leisurely played with the purple gemstone pendant. "Are you sure? That wasn't you?"
Soon, a second audio clip played, echoing clearly over the school.
"Your kid can get into our school, just give me fifty thousand dollars, and I'll arrange it."
"Don't worry. I'll definitely get her in!"
"It doesn't matter if she's bullied others. I'll cover for you.. What are you afraid of?"
Whitney knew she could no longer argue. She collapsed to the ground!
Adeline tilted her head and chuckled. "Whitney, how's that for self-destruction?"
Whitney was so terrified that her eyes lost focus. She looked at Adeline as if she were seeing a demon from hell.
"How could you know these things. I clearly..."
Clearly, when she said those things, the office was empty!
Adeline walked closer, gently lifting a strand of Whitney's hair, her voice so low only the two of them could hear. "Whitney, I gave the evidence you wanted to you..."
Whitney's lips turned pale, and she suddenly screamed, "Stay away from me! Demon! You're a demon!"
She seemed utterly terrified of Adeline and ran out of the school office like a madwoman.
Adeline pointed to her head in front of everyone, her tone puzzled. "Is there something wrong with her up here?"
"Anyone who can do such dirty things has a filthy mind!" Aaron was furious. "It's teachers like this that cause education to fall behind and ruin good students!"
"The administration office! Human resources! The education department!" Aaron was truly angry. "I want a city-wide report on Whitney's situation by tomorrow. Don't hide anything. Since it happened at our school, we must acknowledge it!"
"And Reuben! Report him to the higher-ups!" Aaron slammed the table. "This is a disgrace to our education field! If I hadn't come, is this how you manage the school? You are so impressive!"
Aaron was seething. "Get out of my sight!"
Everyone understood what it meant to report to the higher-ups.
Not only would they lose their jobs, but Reuben might even end up in jail.
No one felt sorry for them.
Teachers and students alike were cheering!
Summer watched the series of events unfold, her gaze falling on her granddaughter.
"Adeline, it's..." Summer felt something was off. It was too coincidental. Could someone be helping them?
Adeline smiled. "Grandma, I'm just lucky."
Summer caressed her face, full of affection. "Oh, you."
"Grandma, let's go home." Adeline helped Summer up, her gaze sweeping over the still-gossiping crowd, her demeanor calm and collected.
Someone couldn't help but shout, "Whitney deserved it, but how do you prove you didn't cheat?"
