Chapter 334 Tell Adeline Not to Stay in Zelphoria

Lyle originally thought Adeline had limited perspective.

But seeing her calm demeanor, Lyle couldn't help but doubt himself a bit.

No matter what others thought, Alexander's recognition was what mattered!

Lyle consoled himself this way.

Adeline continued to smile lightly, exuding an extraordinary aura, without engaging in conversation about Kai.

"We're here." Lyle glanced around, "As expected, there's a line."

There were indeed many people; those with appointments were lined up from inside to outside. The storefront had an antique charm, and the interior was filled with a dazzling array of antiques.

Someone came out happily holding a slip of paper, beaming, "The Master said, if I take this medicine, I'll definitely have a son!"

"The Master even knew you wanted a son?" someone nearby exclaimed.

"Of course! His divination skills are truly convincing!"

Hearing this, the people in line became even more anxious.

But just then, two assistants came out and announced loudly, "Today's divination slots are full. Unfortunate ones, please come back another day."

Adeline raised an eyebrow upon hearing it.

Lyle, worried she was thinking about something, whispered, "Ms. Vanderbilt, don't worry. We'll use another entrance and wait until the crowd thins out."

After waiting in line for so long, no one was willing to leave.

Lowell had this rule.

After two o'clock, no more divinations were done, only special items were sold.

These items were not something ordinary people could afford, often costing tens of thousands of dollars.

With the assistant's announcement, people had no choice but to come back another day. Some even sought help to hold their place in line, each using their own methods.

Once most of the people had left, Lyle stepped forward and handed some money to the assistant.

The assistant smiled, "Mr. Warner, you're always so courteous. Please, come in."

Lyle glanced back at Adeline.

The assistant frowned, "And this is?"

"Oh, a relative's granddaughter, here in Zelphoria for school," Lyle said cleverly.

With Alexander's instructions, he didn't reveal Adeline's true identity.

Adeline, being smart, immediately said, "Uncle Lyle, can you ask the Master if I can get into Zelphoria Medical School?"

Lyle's hand, which was fiddling with his bracelet, paused. He looked back at Adeline, very surprised, then responded, "Of course, we'll ask!"

Adeline's quick reaction was astonishing.

The assistant, suspecting nothing, led them inside.

Robert looked up at Adeline.

Adeline raised an eyebrow, "Do you like this place?"

Robert nodded, his eyes shining.

Adeline let out an "oh," her smile deepening, thinking to herself, 'This probably isn't a good place.'

Robert, thinking she was complimenting his taste, straightened his back even more.

Passing the screen inside, they saw someone drinking tea.

The tea drinker was about seventy years old, with a white beard, dressed in pure white, sitting very steadily.

Behind him was a wall full of antiques.

"Sit," Lowell raised his hand.

Lyle immediately smiled, "Master, did you foresee my arrival?"

Lowell poured a cup of tea, "We are fated."

Lyle, a bit excited, quickly introduced, "Master, this is my niece from out of town, just arrived in Zelphoria. Could you do a divination for her?"

Lowell simply pushed the tea aside, smiling faintly without speaking.

Lyle understood the rules, "My niece also needs some special items."

Only then did Lowell's gaze fall on Adeline's face. After a long moment, his expression suddenly darkened. He looked at Adeline, his voice changing slightly, "Your appearance is too striking, bringing misfortune to yourself and others. For the sake of your family, it's best not to stay in Zelphoria."
